Suspicious as Magnar's acting, he's not a freshman. He isn't taking the same exams as the MC, and if he'd been cheating for years (i.e. if we had somehow found his leftover notes) he wouldn't have needed to buy answers off the MC in the first place. Magnar being the cheater would make no sense - though that wouldn't necessarily stop DPC from doing it anyway.

A more plausible explanation would be that Magnar IS a longtime cheat, but he's found another freshman to help him compile cheat sheets and the MC is now unnecessary.

Where is that mega review of ep11? It has become a tradition reading it after finishing my routes

I just hope next has episode has more MC and less side story characters. The fuck do I care about Buddy reading Quinn a beside story, or Lilly and Vinny arguing over a stupid retarded drug deal and the Jocks jerking each others off with snowballs. I enjoyed this episode the most from Season 3, but it felt like a lack of MC.

Agree on this one. Who could've guessed that in this episode our beloved tremolo still has 0 clue regarding his maternal side of the family or connection to the Royces and Bianca. BROTHER OPEN YOUR EYES AND CHECK THE PHOTOS ON THE WALL YOU PUT YOURSELF.
I kind of get it, he wants this big revelation to be an "All branches" scene, since we can see Jill's house and Lynette's house together only on Jill route, but that just makes Jill path THAT MUCH FRUSTRATING.

I'm going to give Maya a pass for the towel since it's not her house. I don't know where the first aid kits are in my friends' homes either, so I'd probably temporarily grab something like a towel to apply pressure and then ask the host where their kit is for gauze or whatever.

Its most likely a memento-shrine/room filled with things of her husband that will reveal what might happend to him and why he is out of the picture, but Bella is denying the "reality" and has kind of a psychological illness.

Most likely the animation queue is running (more like never stopped), just like last time when he did several animations even BEFORe episode 10 was released. And besides... he already mentioned in several DEV reports that he was already working beforehand in advance on epsiode 12. This and that, nothing particular... but yeah...

There are many things DPC can be blamed for, but not that he isnt working nearly every day on the game. He doesnt reeally make vacations, or has days off, this year a dear loved one died and he didnt really slowed down... its just that, he cant hold back and is stuffing every new episode with even more unnessesary stuff, so the DEV cycle increases and increases...

Most likely the next DEv report (every friday) will be a "report" about the overall release and how it went, and when the official walkthrough can be expected (usally about 3 weeks after the release of an episode), and MAYBE the status of the animation queue which most likely never stopped. He was doing renders and animations in advance for episode 12 already... and some other stuff too.

Maybe he will talk about Hardware upgrades too? But i dont think so... he might have that on his mind, but RTX5090 is hard to come by and not that big of an upgrade compared to RTX4090 (which isnt available either, so no new render slave either) in the regard of rendering... so, no new hardware at the moment i guess.

Yeah basically... rundwon how pleased he was with the release, when to expect the walkthrough, and maybe something like "and the animation queue is already running" Not much more... but the work on episode 12 already began weeks ago.

This is the one I'm concerned about most. We all know a hardware update means faster renders, which means idle PCs. He hates that. He really needs to get over that or we be heading towards pointless 4k renders

i dont even have a first aid kit (and i dont own a car, so not there either) the best i have are some little bandaids... for cuts... and thinking about it, all the persons i know in my family cycle or friends, dont have first aid kits either lying around, excpet for those in the cars cause they are mandatory in germany.

Its not that common to have real full on aid kits i guess? At least not in germany... same goes for fireextinguishers. *shrugs*

And to think about it... if i would hurt myself that bad, what does a first kit help me? Get a fucking towel, and as fast as possible to the hospital. I couldnt help myself with a first kit if my life depends on it.

He confirmed 4, but also stated that the 4th wouldn't be a typical season... Think epilogues

He also sated it would be as long as it needs. It possible, but unlikely he can tie all stories up in episode 12, then however many episodes he needs for the conclusion... Its more likely he needs 2 or 3 more to finish the story. The point is we are highly likely to be going into season 4 (how long it is and what it consists of is another matter)

As someone who has no clue about rendering and stuff, what does hardware update means for us? I know that the renders can be upgraded to 4k, the animation quality and character models will improve, and that in turn, it will take a longer time to actually finish the production of the next episode. So, this should mean:

1) Longer dev time
2) "Better" picture (it's already good and the changes probably won't be that noticable
3) Bigger size of the next episode
4) Better requirements to actually run the game? With how things go rn, will we need fucking NASA supercomputers to actually finish the game or will casual, idle PCs/laptops work? Not to say mine is bad, but it isn't exactly the best out there

Yes. The goal for that route includes saying "I love you" to her. So I'll go back and change my choice. As I stated in my Saves post. I don't mind making Chik choices if it maintains the integrity of the save. Will update when I manage to get around to honing in my choices and whatnot.

Didnt mod my last version but I did update my previous version, (and then added patch). I just deleted the persistent file from one folder gonna try the other one and see if not I'll reinstall. (I'm on Mac btw)

If that doesn't work, make sure you have some sort of audio output available when you start the game. Animations won't play if there's no audio capability currently available on your computer.
