Mc was a rival for tybalt only for Jill, at this time he would gain nothing. Jill would still be a closed road for him even if mc disappeared.
Then it still has to be something useful for the nerds in their fight against the other fraternities, too.

No. I don't deny it is a possibility. To add a bit more, in my college, there was actually a special class specifically for the retakes, so by all means she may be in a room somewhere else.
Ive thought for a long time that Sally was the cheater, but as you look into it, the theory has a few holes that are yet to be plugged

Unless Tybalt would do it simply for revenge. But then again, that would only setup the DIKs towards Tybalt, not all the preps in general. Not really something of much use to Magnar I think.

If mc is not with jill, tybalt does not have all that much reason for revenge against him. It is jill who humiliates him twice

I kind of don't think Magnar would have associated with Sally if she failed intro math and english her freshman year but who knows. The cheater could also be the sicko, the mumbler, the eater, the overprepared, or even the long haired guy that you can choose to help of not in math class in ep 1

I think it's unlikely since MC is not in the same year as Sally and she doesn't take Gender Studies nor is she attending the same English & Math courses as MC either. It's likely for someone other than Sally. It could be that the Tri-Betas were paying for test answers that MC and others like him gave so that they could sell them to other students in order to make more money.
Honestly it just sounds like more of a game mechanic thing than a overarching story thing. Going to classes has always been a way to make 3$ per episode. This way it's only minigames & finding money in free roam (and aquarium ofc)
