In June, coming up on playing this game 4 years.

So yes. I look back at some of the past events in the game and look at it that way.
I was referring to a strange feeling of nostalgia, not related to the game, but to your life. Although I understand what you mean. Replaying some episodes, I involuntarily recall the events that happened to me during the first playthrough. Music usually has that kind of influence, too.

Yes, because insecurity and uncertainty was baked in from very early on and you can see it in Eps 1 & 2.

The reason that y'all seem so mad that it's "coming out of nowhere", which it isn't, is that a) you didn't pick up on the signs throughout the game, and b) you don't seem to realise how much she was putting her own life, her own self, on hold for Maya, a fact she acknoweldges in Ep 11 because that's exactly what she was doing this whole time. The fact that she was doing this is precisely why she hasn't had much development on her own because she putting someone else before herself and thus holding herself back from her own personal growth as well as even finding her voice, and again, it was plain to see this.

DPC didn't forget about her, he's not scrambling to make something for her with this quest to find her identity, he wrote her as a self-sacrificing, insecure girl who was so focused on helping Maya with her issue that she lost herself in the process, and now with that issue resolved, she doesn't know where she stands and who she is but now she's working on that and finally letting other people help and be there for her for a change.
She was more than ready to leave Maya for Mc even as early as EP 2. Don't you remember? She thought she wasn't admitted at B&R and was ready to skip town and before that she wanted MC to fuck her at their date even when she had already told him she was cheating(She truly is her Daddy' little girl, huh? xD) .

Don't try and sell this, "Oh, Josy was ALWAYS prioritizing Maya over herself the whole game" when we all know it's not true considering she is more obssesed with MC than pretty much any girl in this game regardless if you reject her or not.

She helps Maya sure, but that was AFTER they recoinciled when she got accepted at B&R. When Josy is alone she is all about prioritizing herself to the point of even asking MC if they think they would've worked together if things were differently or trying to seduce him in EP 10 regardless of the route if you hang out with her.

Nobody's mad. We note that this is boring for a game of this level where the characters are several levels deeper, interesting and multifaceted. Being DLC for Maya for 9 episodes, being insecure girl, and then trying to find herself after the problem is solved is weak writing.
I haven't seen her selflessly try to help Maya. The only thing she's achieved is talking to Jill. A big part of Josy's plot is that she has feelings for MC more than Maya. The person who really selflessly helped Maya was Tremolo himself.

My Sage path is messed up. Made commitment to her. Played nearly through ep11 get to Bella party. No sex scene, and no love question, no Cammy option. What gives. Is it really about some comment to Derek way back in ep4? If so DPC sucks.

It is not the sex with Jade that is the problem. It's back before that.

Back in Episode 3, Jade puts her foot on MC's dick, if you do not stop her right there - you will NOT get the Sage love scene.

The fact that she was considering running away was a direct result of her putting herself aside for Maya. She had pinned so much hope on being there together with her at college and it was looking like it wasn't happening and this was after who knows how long where she been supporting Maya through this issue with Patrick and probably also being there for her because of Helen. So she was thinking of impulsively doing something to escape it all because it was becoming too much for her at the time and the MC was also something impulsive; an easy escape from it all by being with him. But when she reunited with Maya, much of that went away when she remembered how much Maya means to her and how much she wants to be there for her and help her.

But those thoughts of the MC being a convenient escape have always remained with her and that's what it's always been for her; an obsession because of the stress of the situation she was in. But now with that situation resolved, she's confused about her feelings for him and for Maya are because she doesn't know what's lost and what's genuine anymore and that's what we're (hopefully) going to see be explored next.

Thanks
It isn't related to this, but i suspect that you did a riona path and i kinda wanna know if episode 11 is a good one on her path.
I mean all my route are on the chick path but i like the girl so i'm curious if i do a run to get her or even if a chick run is possible with her (i'm thinking it's not but fucking her or not in the hot party allow us to be her friend in a way)

I also wonder if i could do a sage chick path AND staying with her after the maya/josy reveal (episode 4 i believe, during the hell week), but the research fonction could help me in that regard.
Hey, I'm not sure if having a semi-loving relationship with Riona is going to be developed in episode 11. It so happened that in my first and main playthrough, Tremolo has a relationship with Sage, so I played episode 11 from that perspective. However, Riona stayed at home for the entire episode. The only interaction with her is to send a message around the end of the episode. I also have a second playthrough where I tried to build a relationship with Riona, but I'm stuck on episode 9 and so far I'm too lazy to read it all over again.

When on Quinn's route MC learns what really happened to Riona and he sends her an extra text message telling her he knows it. That is the only difference.
MC doesn't talk to Riona at all in this episode.

I played an others route with a focus on Quinn and Rio. Quinn gets a wee bit more development, but overall, very disappointing development for those two specifically. :(

Youre kinda overplaying the "I saw it all along and it was so well displayed, youre just blind!" role

And half of the stuff youre writing is your headcannon, josy actually tells us what troubles her during the second date:

She is lonely.

Its not mainly worries for maya, or about patrick or maya's mom. She herself simply feels lonely, the reason for that may be patrick partially but not fully considering maya is at b&r already and they dont have real contact.

Yes josy always had some body insecuritys about her height (which is not really this unusual for even very pretty girls to have a insecurity about a part of their body) but youre trying to paint a lot of youre headcannon as hard facts and a masterful storyline.

For me, DPC's biggest mistake is that he didn't write development arc and personality for Josy from the very beginning. She was just an addition to Maya and her problems, a kind of DLC for a polyamorous experiment. Now, if Maya's problems are solved with a good outcome, then what's next?
DPC is trying to quickly write something for her, come up with a hobby and a new drama: identity crisis Josy "I don't know who I am", "I don't know if I love Maya", "I'm unhappy". Some cheap fast-written drama. It looks boring in comparison with a bunch of other LIs with their complex personalities and tragic backstories, Josy looks lost here among this variety of wonderful characters.
Even if we compare two dates - Josy and Maya on Throuple route, which starting to branch on auto: Maya's is a huge W.
And comparing her with Zoey, they are completely different characters. Zoey story is about unspoken words that were needed in time and an attempt to return to the past, but unlike Josy, she is interesting, cool, talented, bright against the background of other LIs. This is a girl with you want to take a beer and have a heart-to-heart talk about life, easy vibing with her.
For me Josy got great personality and development arc but I'm very bias when it comes to that:p I do think DPC did change his original plan with her but what we saw with Josy feeling lost and needing a hobby wasn't the change that actually on pair for her with what we seen at least since ep2.

I think originally Josy and Maya wasn't going to be a couple just friends but Maya's path would had been totally unplayable especially when Maya starts playing victims cards right and left or being all doom and gloom. Josy balances her out she the sunshine to Maya's rain DPC needed to put them together at the start to give people a reason to play for Maya.

Not really prior to the josy reveal, Maya was the main love interest and wasn't all woe is me. She became worse after the josy relationship
