Let me give you an example, so one of the users mentioned about the mansion repair which was caused by the jocks, they included both the scenario and its outcome. I believe there is canon but not in a sense that it includes everything in it as canon.

Like the scenario that I said before, you can fail it and have rusty sell his car or pass and use rusty's car or sell the VIP pass to fix the mansion (No minigames.

I can go further into this with the LI, an example Spock's main playthrough canon is different than my main playthrough canon.

I am not arguing with the literal definition of canon, but I am arguing that there is no set canon in BAD aside from the major events that do not differ between players.

When people here refer to Canon they mean what everyone experiences no matter what.

For example, MC chucking a tantrum and leaving MJ, that's canon, (staying with Sage is not canon). Jade getting divorced is canon (how much money she gets is not). Selling Rusty's car is not canon.

I get what you're trying to say, like "sub-canon" or whatever, but it muddies things. Canon is immutable, like staying with Maya or joining the DIKs. Or idk, call it alternate timelines or whatever (choosing Derek/Bella/Sage and what is canon to those paths)

Exactly and in the message chain, I was telling both of the users that the only canon is appliable such as MC leaves (that is one), Jocks destroying mansion, and other choices that were not player dependant but there were including selling sad jester's car as canon.

I do agree with you in most of your statement especially in what happen to Cathy. He could have talk to Rusty about the laptop. But I don't agree with your sentiment about Heather. He did not tey to steal her because his afraid of Tommy but because he knows Heather and Tommy had been together for so long and she loves Tommy so Nick did not made a move.

Next about the diks sharing secrets to Nick. I know Nick spill the beans about them and he used it to tear the group. But in the first place why the fuck did they share this secret to him in the first place. They could've have talk this one to others. I think it's also there fault sharing sensitive topics to Nick instead of keeping there mouth shut.

Lastly I still stand on my previous post about Tommy "quid pro quo". He had it coming and it just so happen that Nick become the sacrificial lamb in Heather's revenge. She is the main reason things went south in the first place, sleeping with Nick a fellow dik

Nick is also a coward bitch, he won't come clean without being forced to. But I'll concede he wouldn't actually try to snake Heather, because he doesn't have the balls.

Nick actively wanted MC to share secrets with him and confide in him, I bet he's the same with the others. "Hey you can trust me, I won't tell anyone, we're brothers aren't we?" Shit like that.

Of course Tommy had it coming, it doesn't change the fact Nick is a piece of shit for doing it, so is MC if you choose to. "She could've slept with anyone, Nick just happened to be the one" is not a good excuse, especially when she purposefully went after DIKs for maximum damage.

Heather wants to inflict a maximum damage so she slept with a dik. Then we can assume that Heather started all this messed just to get back with Tommy. If she was in the right mind she should not slept with a Nick. She did not think that what she did ruined the trust between them.

Regarding Nick actively asking mc about his secret, Nick open up first to mc about how he is inlove with Heather, I think Nick trusted mc that he is willingly open up about his love for Heather. Even if thing went south during the confrontation.
