Because it just feels like a good respite point for the game after what could probably be a pretty heavy conclusion to the game's main events. They and the story may just need a good relaxing after what may go down and this would be it.

Also, I reject the notion that a committed MC can't have fun with his girl(s) on Spring Break and that it's somehow only advantageous to be a single, Others path, manwhore. He and the rest of his friends could all go to the same place and a committted MC can have fun with them and with his girl(s) there easily. And even if it is on-rails, so what? The whole of S4 might just be like that for all we know if there are going to be no minigames and our choices are now so baked in that we get no more. Not really an issue when you're at the endpoint.

It's been a long time coming and alot of you provided there review for the episode 11 of Being a DIK but it's better late than never. So here my review for episode 11

First of let get this one out of the bag, Maya's loan. We find out that the document that the document she sign was just a hoax so that Patrick can control her decision. At the end of the episode where Maya and Derek visit Patrick and talk about the situation. I think this episode about Maya is came to a close. It's not dramatic but in my opinion it's a good conclusion in the story

Next up is about Riona's situation and the end of episode. Alot of people think that she died in this episode, thank dpc she did not kill her. She did receive a beating but atleast she is alive and rcovering. She also did that right hooked to Quinn which I think Quinn deserve. Overall we did not see any of Riona in thi episode but that is understandable but I do hope that in the next episode we can see alot of her. Regarding the end of episode we find out that Magnar and the Nerds are the one behind all of what's happening, the pictures, the sex video and etc, I think it's kinda cliche using the Nerds as the antagonists in this scenario. I still prefer Stephen to be the main antagonist. In the story. Lastly the clip hanger in what is inside in Bella's room we will finally find out in the next episode.

Now let's discuss about the love interest, I'm gonna rank them base on the story not about who I like the most.

My 1st place in terms of sthe story this episode is Sage. Most of you will thing i'm bias because I am a Sage fun but in all honesty I think she deserve the 1st this episode. Her character development this episode is one of the best. She show us how she is vulnerable this episode especially when she told us about her parents divorce. MC bexome his support through all of this. He made her hold herself together not to break during her hard time. She also show us her feisty side when she and Jill went to have there nails done. It also worth mentioning her jealous side. In this episode it is understandable why she gets mad at mc. We can all agree that mc is retarded in this episode when she still talks with Zoey. In my opinion Sage has every right to be mad at mc. Lastly her sex scene, she has to scene this episodes the threesome with Cami and the intimate sex. For me the threesome is one of the best this episode. But the sex scene between Sage and MC I think is one of the most emotional scene. When mc said those words, when he said "I Love You" to is one of the best delivery in in this episode especially when I compare it to Maya and Josy. These sex scene has little to no dialogue in my own interpretation it is raw and pure of emotion. They don't need to speak anything it is pure passion.

On a side note let's talk about the cheating side of things. I did play the scenario just to see the confrontation of mc and Jade as well as mc and Stephen and choosing Zoey over Sage. This side of the story is well written especially when mc and Stephen finally talk mostly it was just Stephen talking. Anyway this side of the story is well written but it is not for me that's all I can say to it.

I'm gonna stop here for now and continue this later today because it's almost 3 am here in at my place and I only have less than 5hrs. of sleep.

My 2nd place is Jill, truth to be told she's very closed in being number but the story development of Sage win me over. Overall her story is solid especially the event in cemetery. We found out why she react that way when mc take the shroom and when Jill found out that he smoke weed. Her sister Lana died because of drugs, she was deeply scarred by this during her childhood so I understand now why she reacted that way. In terms of her character development she is one of I enjoyed the most. She is open to try new things especially at the end of episode she try wearing jeans and shirt I choose the white shirt and jeans in my run. She become open to try new things and for me thats an improvement especially we know that her parents try to mold her. Her sex are ok, yhe first one is a bit vanilla but the number 2 is pushing Jill to her comfort zone. Overall her story answer some of the question in the previous episode and it shows that Jill is getting comfortable in experimenting with sex.

In the cheating path were mc cheated on her with Bianca is a bit controversial. Dont get me wrong it is one of the story I enjoy at the same time felt guilty doing it. I couldn't even play the game for 2days because of what I did to Jill. Anyway for me it is controversial because when we reveal to Bianca that Matthew cheating with Olivia, Jill become one of her emotional support. So when Bianca did all those crazy things with mc in my opinion she became the same as Olivia a two face coniving bitch. Don't get me wrong I still like Bianca but the way she become one of a love interest of mc is controversial to say the least.

My 3rd place goes to Lily, what can I say this episode show me a different perspective of Lily. From an ugly duckling to a swan. We found out a little about her childhood and for me it shows that her playful exterior is just a facade. She does not wan mc to ne her bpyfriend but she gets jelous when we follow Quinn in the school hallway and when Felicia and the others is hitting on mc. During her sex scene we got a choice to fuck her hard or be gentle. It was a 2 in 1 scene package. In my opinion when you fucked her gently it was full of emotion that I think Lily does not know about or to be more precise try to avoid. We all know she is falling in love with mc but she tries to fight it because we can safely assume she does not want to get hurt. Overall her story is part of other path and is a bit short but even so it's full of surprises that it is sacrilegious not to put her on the ranking.

My 4th place goes to Bella, her story in this episode admittedly is very short compare to other main love interest. It could be a build up for the next episode. Overall her story still is great but as I've said earlier it is short and it doesn't do Bella justice in her story. At the very least we find out that there will be repercussion if the school finds out Bella and mc's relationship this can be use in the build up of her story. It can be possible that nerds bug the library. It also teased in this episode a possible throuple with Jill in the story if you kissed Jill in ep9.

In her cheat path it is just a repeat of Bianca with the difference that Bianca still in a relationship with Matthew.

My 5th place goes to Maya and Josy path, this one is full of drama especially during mc's visit to his dad(Neil). Truth to be told I agree to Neil in this scenario, weather mc like it or not he's going to hurt one of them or worst both. Especially in this episode that we can only see Maya or Josy's event if we have a high relationship with one of them. If it is evenly match it will proceed to the one who choose to spend time with in ep10. In this scenario dpc could just show us bothe scenario by one weekend is with Maya and the other is with Josy. But instead the one with high relatioship points take priority. It could be that this a way for dpc to split the throuple in the upcoming episode. Anyway overall the story is pretty good but the drama surrounding there relationship is pretty heavy that's why they are pretty low in my ranking

My last place goes to Zoey, her story is part of the other path and cheating path. She still has a significant part in the story this episode so I decide to put her in my ranking. In Zoey story she found out that she do have a feelings for mc that she loved him. But for me it's too little too late for her to be with mc in this scenario. It is pretty bad she tried to seduce mc knowing he is in a comitted relationship. I think that's a shitty moved, she was with him for a very long during mc middle and highschool years. She even admitted that she purposely do shitty things just so she can be on a detention with him. Now she just realize that she is inlove with him, she had alot of years to know that she is inlove with him but only now that he is in a relationship that you tried to get him to be with her. Even in other path where mc is not in a relationship I still believe is a little to late for her to pursue him.

Honorable mention
I did not put Quinn on the list because I think mc and her did not have enough screen time this episode. Yes we found out about her childhood during the Christmas party and the story about her makeup. But overall mc had a little significance in Quinn character development during this episode ao I did not put her on any ranking.

Rio, Nora and Nicole does not have much to do with the story so I leave them up to the ranking. Sally is a dissapointment I expect her to have a scene this episode but we only got a kissing scene. Elena is ok atleast we receive a blowjob in her this episode.

For the other girls i'm surprise to see how dpc utilize Tara in the story. She might look like an alien to some of us but her character grew on me. She has good person and just trying to do a good thing with her friends. Becky on the other hand is a fucking dissapointment this episode. She hyped herself as wild in bed but she has the most dissapointing sex scene this episode. Look's Jacob's intel is on point she is a fucking deadfish in bed. She is more dissapointing than the oily manatee and I hate the oily manatee but she had a better scene over Becky.

Overall episode 10 is great addition to the story of Being a DIK. These episode added substance to the overall story of BaDIK. We found out about more the characters and the sex scene these episodes are great with a very few exceptions.

Overall I can give this episode a 9/10 rating which is masterclass.

Haha and there the reason I've been given more than once. And ultimately the reason I think most want it. They just think it'll be some massive orgy, which yeah I can see, but like you said, only on the others path.

But similar to the panty party I can't see Jill ever wanting to attend something like that, (she is becoming more open so give it time) Bella would need an absolute blinder of an excuse to be at a BBQ with students, Sage would probably be open to it the most. Josy/Maya I'm not too sure on.

Don't get me wrong I'm interested in seeing what DPC does with Spring Break if we get there, I just don't see it being what people think it's going to be.

It's the first Status update for episode 12. Let's go !

While not at full speed, I've been cooking things since episode 11 was wrapped up. Today, I will share the progress that has been made since then and bring you up to speed on the development.

As you know, episode 12 is the final episode of Season 3. After it is completed, I will work on bringing Season 3 to Steam and GOG. During this development cycle, I will work on tasks related to the Steam/GOG release. I have already coded the Steam Season 3 achievements and created all the art for the icons. I may decide to add some more achievements later, and at the moment, there are 45 of them.

Season 4 will be the last season of the game, and it will be a standalone executable. This means that you will export saves from Season 3 and import them in Season 4, which should feel familiar to you by now. As this is important to get right, I started working on the export/import functionality a few weeks ago and brought it up to speed with episode 11. Every new variable that I create in episode 12 will be added to the export functionality later during development. It was a lot of code to write and manage, but most of the heavy lifting was done. I will have to do thorough testing of this later to make sure it works as intended.
To keep PCs up and running, I focused on episode 12 animations and lewd scenes immediately after episode 11 was fully rendered. I have had zero downtime when it comes to rendering. 57 animations have already been rendered, and I have 17 animations in the queue.
Lately, I have been planning the episode in greater detail, mapping it out, and trying to limit it. And I have also been writing a lot. Compared to episode 11, I've written roughly 26%.

In the near future, I will focus on writing and planning and pose more animations to build a bigger queue. Static render work will have to wait for a while.
Also, I have already added the mini-game code I need for episode 12 and updated what needed to be updated for most mini-games. I have some work left with Brawler and Party Planning that I'll see to at a later point in development.

I have written the code for all special renders in the Rewards app. The 2D art assets and the code are all in place, and the same goes for the Mixed renders needed for Pack Quest and similar. There will be two more special render sets in episode 12. Isabella is the last main girl to receive hers in episode 12, and patrons will decide the other Unknown slot in the Rewards app in a poll. I'm not going to talk too much about the rewards in Season 4 at this point, but it could be worth mentioning that this Special render poll might be the last poll of its kind for Being a DIK.
I'm still deciding which polls to use for episode 12. I'll let you know when I've made my decision.

Slow progress already. At this point in episode 11's development he already had an estimated 75 animations completed with 63 having been confirmed by development week 4. This was done in around 7 weeks since content completion for episode 10, an average of 9 per week.

57 animations completed after 10 weeks since episode 11 content completion means an average of 5.7. That's beind the overall average for the previous episode of 6.42. Not a good sign. The only hope of it being less than a year is if the episode is much smaller.

But basically he's said this might be the last proper episode you're getting, the render queue has spot out a bit less compared to last year, but don't worry the games 25% written and the mini games are done so we are all okay.. M

Brawler gets tweaked every episode, it's nothing to be concerned about I don't think. It'll just be amending the stats of the opponents now we are on another level so to speak...

People also need to stop going by the nominal number of animations. With statics one static is likely to be as onerous to render as the next, but a single "animation" could be anything from an eyeroll to a minute long panning sequence.

Personally it just looks that way a 4 episode window gives DPC the time to not make things feel rushed, resolve plot points and gives us nice scenes.

That is why spring break must be included in any of those episodes, its like where you have your LI in bikinis or have a fuck buffet before we start heading into the epilogues that would include the dreaded finals. AND Viola! BAD is done and an end of an era (Yes I know about him rewriting and remaking the first season)
