That much is true, although I can't say I've seen many people like Jill's voice. Definitely not Bella's voice though, oh god no, that's like universally reviled.

Hey credit where credit is due, he dropped it like the trash it is. Should've jettisoned the intro voice as well, like at least for consistency sake, but whatever.

the problem with Bella's voice is that it's a little too low. a little higher, but not too much and it would fit.

Idk about that, but like you said it comes down to preference. It probably would've helped to just have a different VA, but of course that likely would've been too expensive for him back then.
Voice acting in general is something that shouldn't be attempted unless you've got the money to pay for quality. I know DPC isn't opposed to the idea for adding voices to the remake/remaster.

I always imagined Bella's voice as deep, though I haven't given this much thought. Jill's high but not as high as Josy's. Sage's a bit deeper than Maya's but both significantly higher than Bella's.
In general I tend to imagine significantly older characters as having deeper voices than younger ones.

This game amazed so much that I decided to buy it. So I have a question, can I move saves from this version to the one bought on GOG, or will I have to start a new game?

The saves used to be compatible (not the persistent file, but the game saves themselves), but that doesn't seem to be true anymore.
