Though for now I'm not going for another route so that it will feel fresh when I come back for another route and i plan to go for Isabella next
Nice...! After Bella, I would suggest going for a DIK run :KappaPride: if only for seeing "the other side" of the game, now that you've read/seen a lot of the story. But you do you; you are taking a break after all brother, so feel free to disregard some stranger's rambling :ROFLMAO:

Did 5 MG runs. Story top:
1) Sage.
Absolute cinema. Your run-of-the-mill 2000s romcom plot that, for some reason, takes place in college. Sage feels like the most realisticly written character with reactions, feelings and emotions.
2) Others.
Because all girls (not Becky and Quinn) are hot, and each has a simple, yet engaging story arc. A tiny bit like the movie 100 girls.
3) Jill.
Vanilla rich girl with a heart of gold, brain of a 5-year old and a disgusting rich worshipper. So many movie plots come to mind, I'm blanking. But her naivete is borderline Forrest Gump.
4) Bella.
Another romcom plot where the drama is created out of nothing. So a librarian is doing a student - big deal! If president of France can do it, who are we to judge? Overall it feels like a boring story and I'm just waiting for her husband to return. My money is that.
5) Josy-Maya.
Spots where you have to shift balance towards one or the other are too obvious, and girls react to every single bump on the road like it's a dealbreaker. I'd say that's exactly how it works out in life, but the plot just keeps going.

My two cents on how the story's going to end:
1) Sage will meet her parents, forgive and forget, helps put Quinn to jail and builds a family with MC.
2) Jill

But if seriously, Tybalt sues MC, Jill becomes his attourney, court drama ensues but she prevails, MC and Jill go on to become musicians.
3) Bella's husband returns, tells us he did not leave her deliberately; he bit into a chocolate bar, not knowing it had peanuts, and had an allergic reaction, covering 90% of his body with large tumors. dies of some incurable disease, Bella leaves work and MC for a while, skip to graduation, and she invites MC for a proper date in her backyard.
4) Josy-Maya.

The triangle breaks up, Maya and MC work out her problems, get pregnant and settle down after both dropping out. MC is an up and coming UFC fighter, Maya is a housewife.
Josy and MC study hard the whole university time, Josy finds her calling in blogging, and together with MC go on a trip around the world.

5) Others: Sarah ends up getting all the STDs and becomes religious. Mel marries MC and they both wear sweaters around the house. Nicole gets together with MC, but they don't marry. MC helps her find a normal job and they get another kid. Lily and MC move to Florida, open a bar by the beach and sometimes push a 'lil something-something through Quinn and Tommy. Rio and MC go on a trip across Asia, where Rio gets spiritual, dumps MC for a while, but then they get back, move to the States and open a yoga retreat.

Anyway, the game is still 11/10.

To expand on why I love Jill, she is probably the only main girl who didn't do wrong to the MC at the start of the story. She didn't lie, she's not unnecessary mean and she didn't use the MC. All she did is actually worry and take care about the MC, even though her perception is different, she tries her best to understand the MC. She is such a sweet girl, which I didn't expect from a rich girl on a game about college life

And yeah I'll try to be an actual DIK cause that's the title of the game lol

Some serious hot takes but this one stood out to me.
Maya, the feminist, whose entire story line revolves around being able to go to college without her father interfering or controlling her life, gets pregnant and drops out of college to become a housewife.
That's Rian Johnson tier of subverting expectations.

But if that's the ending you want dream on brother.

Hey guys, quick question about Episode 1.

There’s a scene where Josy gives the MC a peck on the cheek when he says he’s going to college. Is it possible to get that without having Chick status?
I tried using the multi-mod to force Chick status and got the scene, but when I restarted and picked only (-DIK) choices, my status stayed at 0 (Neutral).

Did the dev forget to implement it properly, or am I missing something?

You can't get that scene in normal way, because your status is officially not updated before the first free roaming in MC house.
probably a leftover bug, and dpc don't really care about it, since it's not have affect for anything.
You can consider it as rare "Easter egg" ;)

Honest question. Haven't gotten to play BaDIK yet but for months I've been wondering what's all the fuss about it.
What makes this game stand out so much over the rest?

Mostly the soundtrack, the humor (if you like movies like Porky's), very hot sex scenes (hotter than most other AVN's), wide variety in personalities (with almost all of them likable) and a decent dialogue to sex ratio if you're not into games that are mostly focused on either sex or story.

If you also like/prefer AVNs that are more focused on either one or the other however, imo there are quite a few better games out there (especially focused on story).

This is a very difficult question, the answer to which will be different for everyone. I will not mention things like music and scenes, they are done very well, there is no point in arguing here. Personally, I like the way DPC describes the interactions between characters. Especially the fact that some characters have their own story arcs (for example, Quinn) and you can only learn about them by interacting with the characters. This creates the feeling that the world does not revolve around the MC, but lives on its own, independently of him.

Oh yeah, and the character's eyes. DPC made them so expressive and the way they convey moods... is just great.

Quantity. It is a huge game compared to any other, it has more characters, more scenes, more minigames, more animations, more settings than any other.

Today, not really much beside, the amount of content. That, is something that none can deny, that despite the extreme long development cycle, the amount of content you get form an episode is unmached by nearly anyone.

But now days, regarding of renders, animation , writing you can find as good or in some case way better alternative, but the overall package is still a top tier, although it is also end up being a bit overhyped game.

I'd say there are a lot of people that play this with nostalgia goggles on. I mean it's been going for some time now and way back then it was pretty standout, some may argue groundbreaking. It has always had good music, good characters, good renders and overall good story telling and while that quality and standards may have improved in this and other games, this one will always hold a hold a soft spot for people as it's the one that showed how good this type of media can be, it's the sort of thing that where the total output is greater than the sum of its parts. Wether it still deserves its place in the top10 goats or even top5 will obviously depend on your milage, but there are other games that do certain things better than BaDik, they just came late to the party so to speak.

The immersion is sky high above the other games. Everything is done to make you believe you are in college doing all this stuff. Characters are very well written too. Choices matter. Music is great.
