Well, If people are tired of waiting, they can simply stop donating. That’s a pretty clear way to show they’ve had enough waiting.

Like that is going to happen (at least not to extent to harm devs). People keeps donating to games long gone dead where last update was literally 3-5-7-8 years ago, whether is it literally no any sign of life, they're being fed by "monthly renders" while they're waiting for update which is "just around the corner" or game is going through God knows which consecutive remake/rework where old content is being recycled in new shapes all over and over again. All because people "need more" of *insert characters name*. Some entertainment business folks are very good at exploiting that particular human weakness.
Not saying that's the case here, wouldn't call this dev milker in literal sense, more of a slacker. And even so, not being slacker out of premeditated bad intention, but because of oversaturation.
But then, as mentioned here , hire someone to "unburden" you. With money dev earns, there is no obstacles to hire legit professional programmer for example, so no need to worry if help is going to desecrate game, create bug soup or won't be able to mimic devs work. It doesn't even needs to be permanent thing, just every third or so update, to be "stress" free of boring tasks. Or so.

But then, as mentioned here , hire someone to "unburden" you. With money dev earns, there is no obstacles to hire legit professional programmer for example, so no need to worry if help is going to desecrate game, create bug soup or won't be able to mimic devs work. It doesn't even needs to be permanent thing, just every third or so update, to be "stress" free of boring tasks. Or so.

DPC may do stuff that not everyone here sees the point of or agree with the direction of (cough 60fps animations cough) but the idea they're a slacker or milking subs is so hilariously the opposite of reality it's dumb people keep claiming it. DPC is clearly a perfectionist in achieving their vision of the game and simply saying they should hire more people is meaningless when the biggest time sink for the last three years at this point has been rendering times (AVN's are incredibly art-heavy workflows). Also hiring "more people" isn't some magic bullet people think it is as there are plenty of teams projects on here that also die, disappear off of the face of the Earth, or just spin wheels as there are solo efforts.

Think of how stupid the logic is. People on a pirate site want other people who are supporting the dev to stop supporting the dev so the game is released quicker.

You are in the minority here. I play other popular games here that don't have a quarter of the content BAD has. And you look at the dev updates & it's excuse after excuse why the game isn't going to have much content when the update drops.

People are so invested in BAD that they want updates right after the last update has been released. Look at the comments here in April. And if the quality dropped because instead of the dev operating as they have been to this point by utilizing AI for scenes & things, I guarantee there would be people complaining about that as well.

A bunch of unsatisfied complainers too impatient to wait for the update which is going to have more content than the last update. They'll never be satisfied with anything that the dev does. They just sit here worshipping characters that the dev created because they have nothing better to do while simultaneously complaining about every aspect of the game.

And people question why the dev has people over-moderate the forums he does visit. Who wants to read this constant complaining over the course of a dev cycle?

Im on Episode 8 now and just after the big exam (flushing the test) I got a permanent Neutral affinity. Majority of my big choices were Chick since im on Bella only path, and I think I realise the reason for Neutral perma lock ( not enough remaining big choices till end of the game to lock it on Chick?) but,
My question is: Will Neutral lock prevent me from unlocking all he scenes with Bella till the current end 11.01 so I have to reaload one of the old saves and fix this?

I don't remember off the top of my head if any content for her is locked to CHICK only, but I've got neutral runs with her. You should be fine.

I've said this before, but given how those scenes work simply by teleporting you to the Pink Rose I get the feeling those are animation test benches DPC uses which are then added to the game as cheap filler scenes (because why not).

Time gaps between updates are also expanding. And that expansion does not corresponds with expansion of things you mentioned.

By his words in Q&A, he's doing it 12-16 hours per day, with very rare breaks on holidays.
