Damn, if this game got closer to release every time someone randomly whined about how DPC has a poor work ethic or is milking the game would've hit 1.0 years ago.Not saying that's the case here, wouldn't call this dev milker in literal sense, more of a slacker. And even so, not being slacker out of premeditated bad intention, but because of oversaturation.
But then, as mentioned here , hire someone to "unburden" you. With money dev earns, there is no obstacles to hire legit professional programmer for example, so no need to worry if help is going to desecrate game, create bug soup or won't be able to mimic devs work. It doesn't even needs to be permanent thing, just every third or so update, to be "stress" free of boring tasks. Or so.

DPC may do stuff that not everyone here sees the point of or agree with the direction of (cough 60fps animations cough) but the idea they're a slacker or milking subs is so hilariously the opposite of reality it's dumb people keep claiming it. DPC is clearly a perfectionist in achieving their vision of the game and simply saying they should hire more people is meaningless when the biggest time sink for the last three years at this point has been rendering times (AVN's are incredibly art-heavy workflows). Also hiring "more people" isn't some magic bullet people think it is as there are plenty of teams projects on here that also die, disappear off of the face of the Earth, or just spin wheels as there are solo efforts.
Nope, but it's just really boring now seeing endless "they're milking it" comments despite the fact every update is bigger, better-looking, and more expansive than the last.DPC, is this you?![]()
Think of how stupid the logic is. People on a pirate site want other people who are supporting the dev to stop supporting the dev so the game is released quicker.Nope, but it's just really boring now seeing endless "they're milking it" comments despite the fact every update is bigger, better-looking, and more expansive than the last.
That's what I am atm so im gooodtheillusionxo
if you are after Quinn please note that she only likes MC as DIK.
I don't remember off the top of my head if any content for her is locked to CHICK only, but I've got neutral runs with her. You should be fine. Can som1 please help? cant find answer anywhere..
Im on Episode 8 now and just after the big exam (flushing the test) I got a permanent Neutral affinity. Majority of my big choices were Chick since im on Bella only path, and I think I realise the reason for Neutral perma lock ( not enough remaining big choices till end of the game to lock it on Chick?) but,
My question is: Will Neutral lock prevent me from unlocking all he scenes with Bella till the current end 11.01 so I have to reaload one of the old saves and fix this?
A slacker with one of the highest content productivity rates among AVN developers? Name me one developer who can update so much content in such time.Like that is going to happen (at least not to extent to harm devs). People keeps donating to games long gone dead where last update was literally 3-5-7-8 years ago, whether is it literally no any sign of life, they're being fed by "monthly renders" while they're waiting for update which is "just around the corner" or game is going through God knows which consecutive remake/rework where old content is being recycled in new shapes all over and over again. All because people "need more" of *insert characters name*. Some entertainment business folks are very good at exploiting that particular human weakness.

All true, I just wish he'd listen to my potentially award-winning ideas.A slacker with one of the highest content productivity rates among AVN developers? Name me one developer who can update so much content in such time.
He has problems with ambition, management, and unpopular ideas – many people dislike minigames, large free roams, and the addition of questionable content, but he keeps following his vision, not listening to anyone.
For example, no one likes Madame, and he still making scenes with her. He dislikes criticism; he's a narcissist and authoritarian, but being a milker or a slacker is bullshit. The guy simply has no self-control and can't optimize development, and the game has become very cumbersome. But his productivity is beyond reproach.
Btw, the OP you linked to is the last person you should listen to. He's here for the hate posts, shitting on the game, creator, and the characters - that's the all contribution of him to this forum.
He's not gonna hire help because of "my game - my vision" mentality, and DPC is the kind of people who are terrible team workers. Personality type. Not good, ofc. But we have what we have.
Knowing you Joshy, game gonna become much more kinkier, but the traditional audience will have a meltdownsAll true, I just wish he'd listen to my potentially award-winning ideas.
I've said this before, but given how those scenes work simply by teleporting you to the Pink Rose I get the feeling those are animation test benches DPC uses which are then added to the game as cheap filler scenes (because why not). For example, no one likes Madame, and he still making scenes with her.
Slacker in terms of full time development. Depends on his country of residence, but in average it's 8 hours per day/5-6 days per week. Minus official holidays during year. When you add everything up, his productivity is more than questionable.A slacker with one of the highest content productivity rates among AVN developers? Time gaps between updates are also expanding. And that expansion does not corresponds with expansion of things you mentioned.Nope, but it's just really boring now seeing endless "they're milking it" comments despite the fact every update is bigger, better-looking, and more expansive than the last.
Not sure i would call cummy kisses potentially award-winning ideasAll true, I just wish he'd listen to my potentially award-winning ideas.
By his words in Q&A, he's doing it 12-16 hours per day, with very rare breaks on holidays.Slacker in terms of full time development. Demonstrably not the case.Time gaps between updates are also expanding. And that expansion does not corresponds with expansion of things you mentioned.
Thank you for your answer. I remember first time I played. (when EP7 was last i think) The 69 was locked behind massive chick if i recal correctly or was it the global chick affinity. I just want to avoid playing for many more hours to reach a point where i need to reload so far back. Perhaps Global affinity dont matter for the scenes as much as current (smal choice) affinity.I don't remember off the top of my head if any content for her is locked to CHICK only, but I've got neutral runs with her. You should be fine.
Canon content in DrPinkCake language = scenes you're going to see no matter which route (Bella, Josy&Maya, Others, Jill, Sage) you choose. The canon content
he was talkin about canon event ? what is it gonna be ?
explain anyone if you can, advance thanks tho
hope the canon event feature mc and bella with a honneymoon and marriage lol
I see, all those time and ratio sectors went into red, it looks like beepers for nuclear catastrophe.Demonstrably not the case.

Development speed, while moving up and down each episode, have remained within a consistent ballpark for each release.
Come on, you can't actually believe that? Unless he's some loner without family and friends with almost none need to sleep, eat or do anything else...By his words in Q&A, he's doing it 12-16 hours per day, with very rare breaks on holidays.
