I see, all those time and ratio sectors went into red, it looks like beepers for nuclear catastrophe.

Come on, you can't actually believe that? Unless he's some loner without family and friends with almost none need to sleep, eat or do anything else...

Anyone knows where to find "Jill 11" reward render? It says "Ep9 story", so I guess it's one of those we hunt during conversations, I went through WK but can't find anything I missed. I probably did, just can't pin-point it. :cautious:
I take this with a grain of salt, but given the volume of work, how many poses he prepares, renders and animations per week on average, plus coding, it is quite realistic.
He is not alone, he has a feminist wife :HideThePain:

Is it realistic to work 12 hours a day, with very few days off, when no one is supervising you and most of the work ultimately consists of waiting for various computers to do their job?

Have you ever assisted a Nigerian prince who is a millionaire but was unable to unlock his bank account and needed a front man? I hope the anti-spam filter saved you.:ROFLMAO:

Writing code and posing renders in DAZ isn't like sitting back and watching your computers do all the work. Getting a render like this ready for process takes several hours of work.

Just finished my first playthough. What a game.
I remember vividly the first time I booted the game, reading the "if you are (...) in a tough period of your life, this game is not for you" I ask myself how bad can It be?

40hrs later, I've asked my wife to hold my hand multiple times while I was holding tears reading though the game.
What an excellent story, I'm still in shock how far my suspension of disbelief went from time to time.

Thanks for your amazing work DPC, you've earn yourself a new supporter.

And there's also all the ways that image is massively more complex than earlier episodes. There are multiple light sources, detailed shadows, smoke effects, the characters in the back are just as detailed as the foreground etc.

Just go back to episode 1 and it's very flat single light source static renders where you can easily see the grain effect from the rendering being of a far lower quality for anything not in focus.

I've said this before, but given how those scenes work simply by teleporting you to the Pink Rose I get the feeling those are animation test benches DPC uses which are then added to the game as cheap filler scenes (because why not).
I've always assumed that the manatee scenes served a testing purpose. What I don't approve of is the character itself when the Pink Rose VIP room could just as easily have been done with Brandi. Or another Pink Rose character that doesn't have her own story line such as Rose, Tanya or Sandy. Or all of them.

This is why I want madame manatee to have an actual place in the story such as being Priscilla so that there's at least an excuse for the character to exist even though nothing will excuse her look.

Overall, the visuals and lighting are much better than in Episodes 1-6. After that, there's a noticeable jump in graphics, but not always. It's clear he's rushing things, and it's noticeable in some renders.
Like here, look at the rough shadows from the light source, can easy be fixed.

This is the result of haste, any accusations that he is deliberately delaying development for milking reasons are simply a conspiracy theory.

I get the feeling there might be a small plot or explanation there eventually, but the idea of this unconnected character is a good one if you're just doing test renders for animations. Means a bad run isn't as much "time wasted" than if it comes out dodgy for a key scene with a main character.

Yeah there are still errors at times (not unsurprising to be honest) but with some of them like this one I assume there's also artistic licence similar to "hero lighting" in movies and shows. The scene would probably look more awkward if done "realistically" with heavy shadow across Sage's face.

One of the things DPC has suggested is that once the full game is done they might just go back and remaster the earlier episodes which would be interesting (and stands in contrast to other creators who have scrapped games six episodes in and then just restarted)

A soft shadow is actually more realistic; that's an example of a good, artistic render, below. But he's making a game with mass-produced renders, not fan art, I get it.

Fortunately, his remaster idea is on hold until he finishes the game, and I hope he stays true to that line. A remaster before the main game is finished is the last thing we need.

Hello,
Game buggy/poorly designed.
It's impossible to choose the text size or the transparency size (too small in 2560*1440 resolution).
Enabling transparency changes the display of dialogue strangely (shifts lines outside the frame).
Saving with the mod is not compatible (yes, that's my choice).
Saving between chapters is poorly designed.
And above all, the translation doesn't work in the game: basically, one sentence out of ten remains in English (??), even though it's 100% translated in the files...
And my opinion on the DIK/CHICK system adds nothing to the game (except for blocking paths with certain ladies...)
So there you go.

All I gotta say is that this game is amazing with fantastic visuals, music, story and everything else. This developer can take their time and I'll wait patiently for greatness

I notice a lot of the fish eye lens effect in the earlier episodes, too. While I agree a remastering of the earlier seasons would be nice for a polished uniform look, I certainly hope he doesn’t start that nonsense before he finishes the story.
A pointless, not so fun, personal fact; I bought Poser 5 for $$$$$ hundred when it was brand new. Busy Work schedule and a poor pc that couldn’t handle the software meant that it collected dust for years. Before I saw and dl’d Daz3D for the first time, a couple years later, I found out that the free/discounted update for that old a version of Poser was no longer available. I have a very expensive coaster. *sigh…

I see no reason to doubt them on this, it's clear they want to get to the end of this (in a good way) and that's their only real goal. If DPC was interested in "milking" they'd have disappeared years ago given they probably made decent six figures by the end of season 2 if not seven figures.

I went for Bella, as I'm close to her age so it was easier for me to be touched by her story & understand her general attitude. (Plus, she reminds me of my beloved wife)
Also I kinda lost myself in her massive boobs eyes. Damn thoses eyes..

But I've to say 'chapeau' to DPC becase all main LIs are equally worth pursuing [IMO] & choosing The One™ took an hour of looking into my soul.

I've a save for each (CHICK) route at the end of chapter 8 and I'm exploring very routes now.

EDIT : Btw, I really love your "Lewderboxd" posts. Keep it up!

Nick is innocent.. Jacob is the big snake/rat.
I was just passing by.
Nick always tells the truth.
Jacob could have harbored a grudge against the Dicks for a long time because of his unsuccessful Hell Week. He was arrested while jogging naked.
I thought Jacob might be the traitor, but one thing keeps me from believing it.
When Tremolo wakes up at the Thanksgiving party, comes out of the tent, and meets Jacob. Jacob asks, "Are you with us? With the Dicks?" MC replies, "Of course, 110%. To which he replies, "Just checking." As if to explain that Jacob doesn't doubt our loyalty to the brotherhood.

This question wouldn't make sense if he were a traitor.

Unless one traitor checks to see if another is a traitor.
I don't think there are any traitors among the Dicks (including Nick). It's just paranoia. screenshot0013.png
