Slacker in terms of full time development. Depends on his country of residence, but in average it's 8 hours per day/5-6 days per week. Minus official holidays during year. When you add everything up, his productivity is more than questionable.
By his words in Q&A, he's doing it 12-16 hours per day, with very rare breaks on holidays.

I don't remember off the top of my head if any content for her is locked to CHICK only, but I've got neutral runs with her. You should be fine.
Thank you for your answer. I remember first time I played. (when EP7 was last i think) The 69 was locked behind massive chick if i recal correctly or was it the global chick affinity. I just want to avoid playing for many more hours to reach a point where i need to reload so far back. Perhaps Global affinity dont matter for the scenes as much as current (smal choice) affinity.
But it seems when locked on Neutral i cant have massive chick (-20 smal choice) affinity.

Demonstrably not the case.

Development speed, while moving up and down each episode, have remained within a consistent ballpark for each release.
All you're demonstrating is that he's slow and inefficient. I can run numbers and break it down into daily time usage, but what do you care?

He's doing animation himself, which appears he knows how to do by now. And silly walkabout scenes everyone hates. And so many mini games everyone hates (most of which are already made and being re-used). For a glorified power-point presentation?

Hiring simply one other professional animator who does things based off time will blow up his entire Milking scheme. It would be even worse if it was a coder.

explain anyone if you can, advance thanks tho

hope the canon event feature mc and bella with a honneymoon and marriage lol
Canon content in DrPinkCake language = scenes you're going to see no matter which route (Bella, Josy&Maya, Others, Jill, Sage) you choose.

For someone who seems to hate basically everything about this game you sure don't half spend a lot of time here.

Also you can't run shit about how this works. For christ's sake, you have an AI profile picture so clearly wouldn't be talking from experience on how long it takes to create and render statics and animations via DAZ3D...

I see, all those time and ratio sectors went into red, it looks like beepers for nuclear catastrophe.

Come on, you can't actually believe that? Unless he's some loner without family and friends with almost none need to sleep, eat or do anything else...

Anyone knows where to find "Jill 11" reward render? It says "Ep9 story", so I guess it's one of those we hunt during conversations, I went through WK but can't find anything I missed. I probably did, just can't pin-point it. :cautious:

Go outside & touch some grass. There's more to life than Being A Dik. Your obsession is showing. You have thesis about how a character from the game is a "destroyer". Take a breath. Live your life. And before you know it, the latest update will be here for you to enjoy.

I take this with a grain of salt, but given the volume of work, how many poses he prepares, renders and animations per week on average, plus coding, it is quite realistic.

Empty words. Stop being some fanboy sycophant.

I don't know how to render things? Perhaps I know nothing of 3DSM, Softimage or Maya. Or software dev in general. Or god knows how many other actual 3D engines I've used in the past. On Ren'Py? Loading...GIFs? WOW, so complicated...

Oh here are the numbers. I even gave the guy 2 days off for weekends. dpc_sucks_at_efficiency.png

This doesn't take into account coding and all those silly mini-games, walkabouts, and testing.

Low 20s for renders a day? And only going down? What is this, 3D Poser for kids? Dude could be fired from an office job making PowerPoints.
1.4 Animations per day?
  • Hire one extra animator and cut that in half.
  • Hire 2 and you're done in 3 months.
  • Hire 3 to do all your work for you and you've got a good role in QA.
  • Use a render farm and speed up the process without worrying about power or hardware usage.
  • etc.
But I guess Interlude was flippin brilliant at 10.59 renders a day. Cause he had to learn something...technical.

OMG I have an avatar. And as we've seen, AI can do things in seconds. Something DPC might actually want to consider.

Grow up kid.

Big words, keyboard warrior. Tell me, are you married, do you date, do you work, do you exercise, do you do other things than jack off? Some of us on here do in abundance. This is just a time killer in between those things.

My obsession is telling people like you how wrong you are.

Is it realistic to work 12 hours a day, with very few days off, when no one is supervising you and most of the work ultimately consists of waiting for various computers to do their job?

This is genuinely making me laugh. I would break down all the ways your little excel spreadsheet is just a cacophony of dumb assumptions (e.g. just assuming that every render has the same level of effort as though the new episodes aren't drastically improved just in areas such as lighting) but this sentence alone just highlights the complete moronic nature of your comments:

And as we've seen, AI can do things in seconds. Something DPC might actually want to consider.

0 assumptions.

Basic division.

*psst! That's called math*

but this sentence alone just highlights the complete moronic nature of your comments (e.g. just assuming that every render has the same level of effort as though the new episodes aren't drastically improved just in areas such as lighting)
Yes. Using basic math is moronic.

Tell that to fan art people on BaD on here. Looks pretty darned good. Hell, even Karamba, as creepy as his are, are done quickly.

Did you really just do the "well at least I'm getting laid" routine?
Yes. Using basic math is moronic.
It is when you're taking numbers of tasks where each task is of unknown length and therefore assuming every task takes the same length. By your logic a drive from Washington D.C. to LA should take the same amount of time as a drive from D.C. to NYC because they're both the task of "driving somewhere", and if it takes longer I guess that driver is "milking" it...

Tell that to fan art people on BaD on here. Looks pretty darned good. Hell, even Karamba, as creepy as his are, are done quickly.
You mean all that fan art that uses DPC's base renders as a reference for the AI to then slightly alter and is still noticeably lower quality? So very much not what you're demanding DPC do which is use AI to create the initial renders themselves (which tend to look like shit).

Writing code and posing renders in DAZ isn't like sitting back and watching your computers do all the work. Getting a render like this ready for process takes several hours of work.

Just finished my first playthough. What a game.
I remember vividly the first time I booted the game, reading the "if you are (...) in a tough period of your life, this game is not for you" I ask myself how bad can It be?

40hrs later, I've asked my wife to hold my hand multiple times while I was holding tears reading though the game.
What an excellent story, I'm still in shock how far my suspension of disbelief went from time to time.

Thanks for your amazing work DPC, you've earn yourself a new supporter.

And there's also all the ways that image is massively more complex than earlier episodes. There are multiple light sources, detailed shadows, smoke effects, the characters in the back are just as detailed as the foreground etc.

Just go back to episode 1 and it's very flat single light source static renders where you can easily see the grain effect from the rendering being of a far lower quality for anything not in focus.
