It is when you're taking numbers of tasks where each task is of unknown length and therefore assuming every task takes the same length. You mean all that fan art that uses DPC's base renders as a reference for the AI to then slightly alter and is still noticeably lower quality? So very much not what you're demanding DPC do which is use AI to create the initial renders themselves (which tend to look like shit).

I'm sure some of it is bad. But the fan art section is pretty good, and even when some use ComfyUI or others, it's a pretty decent job. I'm not saying DPC could use it and only, but he should definitely consider it.

Who's this everyone you speak of? I personally love the free roams and the mini games. They make Being A DIK so much more mechanically engaging than your average VN.

It's been mentioned in this forum for years, in the ratings page, on reddit, etc. It makes replaying slow and painful. Ditto with minigames.

Sure, they're probably not the best if all you're here for is wank material, but keeping the gameplay from being exclusively "click through dialogue until it's time to make a choice" and giving you certain scenes where you can explore the world at your own pace is cool. I think it's a great way to do parties especially, since you can wander around and chat with people at your own discretion just like you would in real life. And they make good save checkpoints, to boot.

Again, I've heard the exact opposite argument.

A VN's game play is essentially making dialogue choices. It would make sense if there was a rhythm mini game (and there almost was) as there's a fighting mini game. To coincide with the MC's character. Not sure how party planning matches it, but it is part of the story of "Being a DIK", and arguably are some of the better designed puzzles per episode.

Sally used to spy for Magnar. She was at every party. They remotely hacked the DIK laptop. Nick was unlucky enough to be sitting on his laptop instead of partying.

Then Sally stopped spying and defected to Tremolo.
Magnar is trying to quarrel between all the fraternities. He sends photos of Ashley cheating on Derek. To drive a wedge between the Jocks and the DIK.

There's quite a few ways to replay it, yes, although the biggest branching point is at the end of season 1 (where you commit to one LI, or choose to stay single), as I think it is possible to have every single LI available at the end of season 1 to choose from (or maybe all except 1, I'm not sure off memory).

Just a friendly reminder that Nora as an LI is completely pointless and derivative. She repeats the already occupied three! scenario niches for teacher/student relationships and offers nothing unique. Each of these paths plays a role: Bella is the classic student/teacher with serious challenges and threats, dark secrets from the past and psychological issues, and feeling young and desirable again. Jade is the path of cheating and disaster, Cathy is lust and fuckbuddies.
While the only thing that makes sense about Nora is the funny scene with the cat:

If we're looking for traitors or someone spying on MC, then I think we should look for the answer in this room and in that Asian guy in a suit who's been watching us the entire game. I estimate that the produced static renders are around 45-50%, and the posed animations are roughly 55%. Overall, I'm likely over the hump, but time will tell what the size of the episode will be.

By counting previews' average release time, its 1 in 12.7 days by now, 20*12.7 -> its middle of the may. Idk how much days after the last 30s preview chapter 11 came out, but seems it could be june.

You mean Clara, and I guess she's the closest thing to Jacob's love interest. You can be his wingman at the HOTs party and she'll fuck him, but he's dancing with her at the dorm party too. And she leaves Jacob's room in the morning after the panty party.

I'll express an unpopular opinion. Maybe it's technically too early to create games with 50 characters on screen. Even a 5090 graphics card, according to him, can't handle it and crashed three times while rendering a large scene. And who needs these scenes in 4K?
I was perfectly happy with the image quality of seasons one or two.
Why waste several days on a scene that the player will watch for a maximum of five seconds and then move on?

If you like the AVN genre, how can new developers compete with developers like DPC? They've been given a whole computer farm for rendering. Judging by their last post, they can't even keep up with creating scenes for rendering.

Was the CUM-petition scene bad because the supporting characters were blurry?
Or has anyone ever chosen a scary scene for Halloween more than once?
I'm just tired of waiting.

Those pics btw with the plenty of people, as Dpc has said, were made with 3090s. I aint no 3D artist but i dont understand these 15-18 months with 5090s

I like how in this game some simple choices actually affect your MC’s stats (even though they probably shouldn’t, I think). For example, if you choose to support him here, the game literally takes away a bit of your DIK affinity. So just by trying to stay human and show some empathy, you lose the chance to be a massive DIK. It doesn’t really make much sense and doesn’t affect the rest of the story much, but there’s something about it that hits different.
