We discussed Magnar a week ago. We came to the conclusion that Sally will give away all his plans and that will be the end of him.

If we're looking for traitors or someone spying on MC, then I think we should look for the answer in this room and in that Asian guy in a suit who's been watching us the entire game. For now, I'm looking for evidence. There's a ladder in the room for installing a camera. Magnar's letters. And Quinn's lollipops.

Alternative opinion, i'm increasingly leaning toward: There is no traitor. Cathy cluck, sextape are Mangar's actions, hacking the laptop. The DIKs are disunited; they have been PsyOp'd.

You mean all that fan art that uses DPC's base renders as a reference for the AI to then slightly alter and is still noticeably lower quality? So very much not what you're demanding DPC do which is use AI to create the initial renders themselves (which tend to look like shit).

I'm sure some of it is bad. But the fan art section is pretty good, and even when some use ComfyUI or others, it's a pretty decent job. I'm not saying DPC could use it and only, but he should definitely consider it.

Who's this everyone you speak of? I personally love the free roams and the mini games. They make Being A DIK so much more mechanically engaging than your average VN.

It's been mentioned in this forum for years, in the ratings page, on reddit, etc. It makes replaying slow and painful. Ditto with minigames.

Sure, they're probably not the best if all you're here for is wank material, but keeping the gameplay from being exclusively "click through dialogue until it's time to make a choice" and giving you certain scenes where you can explore the world at your own pace is cool. I think it's a great way to do parties especially, since you can wander around and chat with people at your own discretion just like you would in real life. And they make good save checkpoints, to boot.

Again, I've heard the exact opposite argument.

A VN's game play is essentially making dialogue choices. It would make sense if there was a rhythm mini game (and there almost was) as there's a fighting mini game. To coincide with the MC's character. Not sure how party planning matches it, but it is part of the story of "Being a DIK", and arguably are some of the better designed puzzles per episode.

Sally used to spy for Magnar. She was at every party. They remotely hacked the DIK laptop. Nick was unlucky enough to be sitting on his laptop instead of partying.

Then Sally stopped spying and defected to Tremolo.
Magnar is trying to quarrel between all the fraternities. He sends photos of Ashley cheating on Derek. To drive a wedge between the Jocks and the DIK.

There's quite a few ways to replay it, yes, although the biggest branching point is at the end of season 1 (where you commit to one LI, or choose to stay single), as I think it is possible to have every single LI available at the end of season 1 to choose from (or maybe all except 1, I'm not sure off memory).

She repeats the already occupied three! scenario niches for teacher/student relationships and offers nothing unique. Each of these paths plays a role: Bella is the classic student/teacher with serious challenges and threats, dark secrets from the past and psychological issues, and feeling young and desirable again. Jade is the path of cheating and disaster, Cathy is lust and fuckbuddies.
