They aren't really all that different and actually have personalities that compliment each other well. Just because they want to pursue different career paths is also not a dealbreaker because that's literally life. And couples go through issues but it doesn't mean they're always irreconcilable, especially if they actually put in the work that relationships need to get through them and come out stronger.

Their relationship is a teenage crush, an experiment, something that comes and goes. MC can make this something real.
But truth is, without him I don't see they working out.
Maya is more focused on her goals than on her partner, Josy don't love Maya at all and simping MC,not being happy in that relationship.

Off their branch, they can definitely recover because the MC was just a place filler for what they missed about each other during their separation which was companionship, affection, and affirmation. Should they rediscover that with each other and grow more from having better communication, they'll be fine. Any split will be by player choice/intervention.

No i think i understand it pretty well, but since you feel the need to tell me I don't then clearly you do not. Your holding on to Josy and Maya being in a branch together tying to make it mean your getting ending with both but that doesn't hold water. It a path two MG's in it a Josy path and a Maya path, so there will be a Josy end and a Maya end maybe there a throuple end but isn't a sure then at all.

And we see how nothing has changed since the MC. Just as the solution to Patrick's problem didn't change the situation. Especially for Josy, where her chemistry with Maya ended. They can communicate as well as they want, but it won't work if one of the partners cools off with feelings.
