Now I get it, Blue Milk.

It's the huge freeroam event, but there are also two New Year's Eve parties. How is that possible?

The Alphas want the HOTs, and the DIKs want the HOTs, so there's one New Year's Eve party for the Alphas and one for the DIKs. Everything takes place in one large building. Alphas and DIKs celebrate their parties separately, but in the same building. This way, the HOTs can be at two parties at the same time. In the short trailer, we see the Alphas' New Year's Eve party. Large room, but few people. With the DIKs, it's exactly the opposite. Smaller room, lots of people. The DIKs are at it again with the Alphas.

"Smoke and fire." The Alpha party is a bit smoky, and the DIK party is on fire.
Man says he "gets it" then proceeds to show he still doesn't get it :ROFLMAO:

The obvious compromise isn't 2 separate parties in the same building in different rooms, the compromise is one party where both the Jocks and DIKs will be in attendance along with the HOTs and everyone else who want to come along. It'll be that way because the pics the Jocks just recieved at the end Ep 11 will necessitate something like this to try and mend fences rather than have them fight over who gets the HOTs. Separate parties even in the same location would mean they're still fighting over them if they fell they're spending too much time with one group.

The fact that both the MC and Chad are in the same room practically confirms this is one party for both groups, because if it were 2 separate parties where only the HOTs and others are milling about but he DIKS and Jocks stay in their areas, then they wouldn't be in the same room, would they? Because by your logic they would be keeping away from each other which they clearly aren't here. And no, this wouldn't some "reward" for the MC winning the fighting tournament that he gets to be in the same room as the Jocks because that's just plain silly :ROFLMAO:

Today, I've updated the Steam/GOG store pages for Season 3.

There is a new trailer, episode 12 screenshots, and updated information for the DLC.

The episode 12 title and synopsis are also revealed, along with what I've been working on in silence this year. Check out the store pages here:

4K renders, he is doing a job for 4.83% of gamer audience according to Steam statistics who have 4K monitors. :HideThePain:
2K would be enough, it is more mainstream now with 20% of users, 4K is still for the elites. But DPC being DPC.

You can't smooth things over if neither side wants to. I don't think the DIKs will just let the destruction of the Mansion go unpunished. The photos will only further incite Anthony and Dawe.

Your argument doesn't quite hold water when you consider that in Episode 7, JB, Jacob, and the MC were at the HOTs party with the Alphas.

Furthermore, remember that the Thanksgiving event in Episode 10 was also two separate parties that then merged.

Take a close look at the very short trailer. I see Arieth dancing with one person, Melanie and Sarah talking to the MC, and Chad standing around looking gay. Add that up. Six people in a room designed for dancing. Seems like a lame party to me. I wonder where the other 81 people are?

I think 4k is a bit of a waste, however it does future proof him. 4K will probably be where things are in a decade. When Lucas re-released Star Wars he did all the effects in 1080P, which limited them for the future. (not to compare the two)

I imagine Maya's skin will look awful in 4K

I'm not surprised this is what he was doing. It's the only thing that really explains the really slow dev cycle.

If he's at 60% content then he could be targeting 350 animations (40 less than episode 11). Could be content complete by July next year.

If he's 60% in terms of production time then he could be compelete in June.

I think Both events can take place in the same location: the college gymnasium. One event is organized by B&R, for alumni, directors, staff, investors and some invited students who have stood out for one reason or another (like MC and Jill, who were invited to play at the event).

The MMA/kickboxing championship can take place in the same location, as I said before, only needing to set up the ring/octagon in the middle of the court.

If the university organized a New Year's Eve party where both professors and some students are invited, it's only natural that at least the fraternity presidents are present and in the same space, even if they're gritting their teeth. And this, in my opinion, is the ideal moment for the smoke and subsequent fire - although this title can also refer to the characters' choices and their consequences.
I have a feeling that many of Magnar's plan moves will culminate in an avalanche during one or both events, depending on which branch you choose.

It's just a theory, of course...

Because they'll be made to. Either it will be someone like Sage who offers up the compromise as a "take it or leave it" or it could even be the MC and Chad being the ones to get in the middle of it and arrange the compromise, perhaps even with Sage also helping. Either way, it's going to be a singular party with both in attendance to try and calm the tensions.

Your argument doesn't quite hold water when you consider that in Episode 7, JB, Jacob, and the MC were at the HOTs party with the Alphas.
Things are a lot different now than they were then, most notably the fact that Chad and the MC are on the same side now and they know someone's trying to pit the frats against each other. Also, that situation in Ep 7 was because they had been told to keep their distance from the Jocks because of recent events but that's like 3 months in the past now and they "made peace" in Ep 10.

Furthermore, remember that the Thanksgiving event in Episode 10 was also two separate parties that then merged.
Because this was a trick the DIKs and HOTs played so they could party together with it just seeming like coincidence. Completely different to this.

I wonder where the other 81 people are?
In other rooms, obviously. How is this a hard concept to understand?

So far, so good. But Dawe clearly stated in Episode 11 that he wants the HOTs at the Alpha New Year's Eve party. He's planning a separate party just for the Alphas. The MC said he wants the HOTs with him for New Year's Eve.
