Well what are we supposed to think? lolThe expectations for this revelation are unrealistic

That's why I mentioned it, you have to control those expectations or you'll end up disappointed. I don't expect anything, and if I don't receive anything, I won't be surprised.Well what are we supposed to think? lol

She's gonna have us paint the room because she's pregnant and has been setting it up behind our backs as a surprise but it got ruined.
Hey that's not true, I'll water them all!

I understand what you mean, and I agree with you. It's clear that DPC has evolved over the years, and that's great. I also don't understand why so many people complain about minigames, 60FPS, and 4K. It enhances the gameplay experience.Personally, I'd rather have someone who allowed for the possibility that their storytelling skills might improve over the course of a multi-year project, and left themselves some scope to adapt their plans as a result, than have someone who was convinced that five-years-ago them was already a perfect crafter of narrative experiences, and stayed locked into precisely their planned path, with no room for flexibility.
The revelation will be very important because DPC is keeping this door closed to us. The reactions of Maya and the MC alone suggest that. Why would Maya be startled and the MC practically freeze if it's only of minor significance? And I'm saying regardless of how much value he places on it, it's not going to land very well. As a big fat Bella simp myself, even I don't care that much about it. Not saying I don't care at all, but I don't believe the reveal will be as earth-shattering as DPC probably thinks. Again, like Maya's loan problem, that was a huge plotline running throughout the entire game that just barely concluded. Clearly very important to DPC. And a lot of people did not like it.
Unless the locked room reveal really is something mind-numbingly stupid like James' dead body or a drug lab, it probably won't be worth all this "hype".
I love how non-Bella fans are placing more expectations on the revelation of the door's secret compared to Bella's fans.
We're almost in 2026 and there are still people who think DPC is going to deliver something that justifies the mystery he created and hyped for the last six fucking years? REALLY?!

That's because behind that door is Bella's secret basement with a bunch of sex slaves.I love how non-Bella fans are placing more expectations on the revelation of the door's secret compared to Bella's fans.

We should also consider the ending of Episode 3.
"Doors are funny."
"Be it metal or be it wood, they’re made to do the same things."
"To keep you safe or secluded…"
"...and to protect the things you value."
"Protect you from whatever is on the other side."
"Or worse…"
"They are made to keep things on the inside."
"Things you don’t want anyone else to see."
"Locked away."
"It’s weird to think that something so simple as a knock, often repeated three times, is all it takes to get someone to open that door."
"Curiosity takes over and it exposes you."
"Some doors are meant to stay closed."
"Because opening them…"
…
"...may change everything."
These clues alone suggest that this door is important not only to Isabella, but also to the MC, even if he isn't on Isabella's branch. I can only repeat myself. We learn from Jill in Episode 5 that this is why the door wasn't locked before. Isabella has known who the MC is since Episode 2 and only locked the door for that reason.
