That's why I mentioned it, you have to control those expectations or you'll end up disappointed. I don't expect anything, and if I don't receive anything, I won't be surprised.

I understand what you mean, and I agree with you. It's clear that DPC has evolved over the years, and that's great. I also don't understand why so many people complain about minigames, 60FPS, and 4K. It enhances the gameplay experience.

It's all about the code. Sure, he may have left himself some leeway by not using the variables. But after a while, he should realize whether or not to reactivate those empty variables.

Personally, if those empty variables are no longer needed, I would remove them from the code afterward for a cleaner codebase.

The revelation will be very important because DPC is keeping this door closed to us. The reactions of Maya and the MC alone suggest that. Why would Maya be startled and the MC practically freeze if it's only of minor significance?

We should also consider the ending of Episode 3.

"...may change everything."

These clues alone suggest that this door is important not only to Isabella, but also to the MC, even if he isn't on Isabella's branch. I can only repeat myself. We learn from Jill in Episode 5 that this is why the door wasn't locked before. Isabella has known who the MC is since Episode 2 and only locked the door for that reason.

I love how non-Bella fans are placing more expectations on the revelation of the door's secret compared to Bella's fans.

We're almost in 2026 and there are still people who think DPC is going to deliver something that justifies the mystery he created and hyped for the last six fucking years? REALLY?!
