I’d hope it won’t be as Dark as Acting Lessons. I think that will actually spoil this. I see this as soap opera meets teen comedy. At the moment it the story is leaning into soap opera tropes, while the setting and characters are teen comedy. Hopefully it keeps riding the line.



I like all of the main LIs. They all have their own charms. Maya is cute but makes bad choices, Josy out going, Jill is sweet, Sage is grumpy and mean and kind at the same time, Bella is moody but funny just Deadpan. The journey with her will presumably be drawing out her personality she has hidden behind the ice queen persona.



In fairness I think nearly all of the main love interests have hyper sexualised characteristics. Big hips, slim wastes, perky butts, big boobs. Yes Bella is the most cartoonish, I don’t think any of them can be consider realistic. I mean, you manage to tit fuck Josy i‘m sorry to say there is 0 chance of those B cups preforming that godly duty IRL



To change the subject slightly, I’ve been wondering if the Crabs might not actually be Arieth. Isn’t she clean shaven? We do know however that one of the DIKs has a girlfriend with a honking great bush. my lead suspect; Dani.

It could not be Arieth, sure. But how do you explain that Dani passed the crabs to so many DIKs? (Pun may or may not be intended ) Butit's true that Arieth looks shaven. Is there anything better than this?

What you see as lack of personality, i see otherwise. I quite like her personality and understand it as well. She is simply not your preference, that's it. Someone who you genuinely dislike. I for example dislike Derek greatly. I couldn't care less about Maya or Josey. I'm stuck with them.

But i consider them integral part of the game i don't want them to be just changed or removed, maybe the game later offers a chance to get rid of them.. that is, to avoid them. But if not so be it.

But these aren't mistakes here. They are just different personalities, and differ this greatly for a good a reason.

I don't know the whole discussion about Bella, but personally Bella and Jill are my favorite. I keep on waiting for their content every time. I love Bella's character not just because of her proportions, but because she has that hard to get personality and probably some past which we have started uncovering slowly and steadily.

I like Jill because she is just bubbly and fun personality.

Cathy and Jade are extra side characters whereas Bella is a main female love interest. I like the games where their is some development, and this Dev is amazing. He has let the romantic development not be extremely fast, but not a very slow burn as well.

Personally I like all the girls in this game. But if I have to rank my preference, it is Bella>Jill>Sage>=Josy=Maya. The other Hots are good as side characters and I like them as well.

I find it somewhat interesting that some just can't handle a mature personality. Bella's precieved fault is that he just doesn't fall into the MC's arms from the get-go and unlike so many games.. she doesn't want to tell half her life-story to some random kid she just met. Its beside the point that she has some issues the meantime.

She's fallen for the MC the same as the rest, but her cold façade and her constantly denying it apparently convinces people that she didn't, but we've seen her trying to convince herself that she's not into him almost since the beginning. Pretty much as Sage with the "only fwb", but in a slighly different manner.

the strong point of the 5 LIs that are clearly different from each other, but with many points of contact, in a realistic way. in the end the only unrealistic behavior is their attraction to MC, but we can't complain

Well, I’ve (fortunately) never had crabs. But whenever people tell stories about them I think they can pass through households through laundry. As far as we know the DIKs have them but the alphas don’t even though most of them have also fucked Arieth.

It was also not made clear if Derek had them, though it was suggested he might.

She has a sense of humour (which I like alot) but it’s very deadpan seemingly because of her trauma. She cooks, she keeps in shape, she likes wine tasting for fun. She keeps her axe and Boots clean and sharp (lol). Her idea of a date night is sitting quietly in her study reading.

The ‘she doesn’t know what she wants‘ side Is all part of her trauma. She doesn’t want to ‘cheat’ on her husband, but she knows the relationship is over (either because she murdered him and chopped his body into iddy biddy pieces or because he left for other reasons). She is also probably torn about the age differences, And about MCs relationship with Jill. I actually think those issues are part of her maturity rather than evidence of a lack of it.

Ya, I'll admit, if this game ends up like AL, and it's seeming like a pattern is emerging that every game he creates ends with emotional devastation, BaD would probably be the last game I play from DPC.

This likely will have some emotional devastation (already has for some), but it will hopefully come more in the form of relationship drama and character backstories than it will in a major character death.

Maybe it's a conspiracy to prevent us from reaching 4k posts.

Just in a game where he has gone out of the way to give even minor characters a personality, Bella sticks out like a sore thumb. He has Jade and Cathy for the older teacher stuff and he obviously spent more time writing and designing them.

It's not that she doesn't have a personality, it's that she's not expressing it. There's something that's making Bella repress her true self and as such, we haven't yet seen what her personality is really like but we have had some glimpses of it.

Bella's an enigma right now and it's this mystique that makes her so appealing because people want to know what's beneath that hard exterior, what the real Bella is like, what has made her this way, and I think we're going to discover more of that in Season 2.

Arieth has a small landing strip, which I guess is quite appropriate.

Easy to see why as they each fall in to very basic character tropes; the idiot best friend, the rebellious bad girl, and the horny cougars. The other main characters, specifically the LIs, have more complexity and depth to their characters, although I suspect we will see some more depth from Quinn in the upcoming episodes as we find out more about her.

I don't necessarity disagree with any of that. I also pointed out that Sage is not very mature either and yet she still has many good qualities, but maturity is not one of them. We don't have enough proof to know if she has a trauma or not, just speculation. The only thing we know is that she doesn't want to cheat on her husband as is unable to control herself. That we might empatice with her on why doesn't change the fact.

Its not so much there being a 'mommy' in the game (real or roleplay) but she seems to follow what seems to be the standard character design process for low effort incest games, make older woman, increase boobs and butt to max, place in game and worry about personality later. She even has the yoga time fillers that are popular among those games. Thinking about it, as felicemastronzo said (though I am sure he disagrees with my overall opinion) the way she acts is more like the older sister archetype in porn games.

This two statement carries much weight and it would take a much longer discussion to debunk the issues they carry which i'm not willing to spend on it because i'm not your therapist, i think you aren't here to have any and this thread is not for that kind of conversation anyway. I'll just respect your views on human nature and behaviour and respectfully disagree with you entirelly.


Jill is very mature. On the side note since you mentioned her in your other post. Yes. Too mature actually. If i want to go down the mystery lane i'd be wary of Jill. Maybe there is nothing more to it, maybe she a very good person who matures marvelously but if i would have to pinpoint a less obvious "darkness-within" person that would be her. The way i see it she is supersweet and all buuut as if she has a shadow following her. No.. not the Defiler of Melons. But both how she talks about the MC and how those discussions with Bella are somehow dispelling the 'innocent' angel halo in my eyes.

So.. i'd say something is off with her. She would make a fantastic yandere. Hopefully she isn't one but she suits the role perfectly regardless.

Well Dawes obviously, so has Anthony, She asks him about the new giant guy. I think there is one other it’s implied she fucked.

I think her internal monologue indicates some past even that she is still not over. That may just be her husband leaving/ cheating and it may be something more like a death or MIA. Which fits with the following, Army uniform on dummy, desire for husband to come back but knowing he won’t. it does fall down with the line ‘I’ve forgiven you already’ though that could have been anger for signing up for example.

The thing about Jill, she's like 21 or 22, she's a few years older than the MC, and she's grown up in a much more strict environment with bigger expectations from her parents. And apparently she had some bullying encounters herself. So it's not surprising she's more mature than some of the others at her age. But she's starting to lighten up more because of the MC.

I think Bella is very Mature lady, she's just confused because she wasn't expecting to fall for a 18 yo student. And she's dealing with whatever shitty situation her marriage is/was.

I still think that Bella's behavior is the most difficult to judge, she seems a crazy nymphomaniac, but everything is "explained" with the question of the husband / locked room.
I hope the explanation that DPC has in mind is reasonable.

aesthetically I don't see such a unique match, for example Bella is very similar to MILFY CITY's older sister. the aesthetic models for mothers are very varied: they are often chubby / curvy (sisterly lust, man of the house ..)

Her proportions are a bit much but i would say the same about Jade's character design. Jade is 40-45? and yet she has the perfect body. Most of the characters are like this: Perky butts, slim waist, perfect boobs and big hips. All of them are perfect models, the same goes for males too. Game has its strong points but realism is not one of them.

I personally want to see beautiful girls in such a game, not just any girls ...

She is mature, but I think she is genuine. When she rejects the MC's advances in Bella's living room we get to read her though process and it is what we would think it is. She wants to have sex but not yet. We should wait until she feels jealous and see how she reacts (for real, not the conversation before the tennis match), but for now it looks out of character.

Even though the game doesn't go this way, i feel like Bella wouldn't fall for MC without Jill's involvement. She wants to protect Jill which leads to the "test" to learn more about MC, the date and all that. We also know that Bella isn't very adventurous from her talk with MC after M&J trouble and despite occasionally slipping, she tries to remain loyal. I can really think of two reasons. There's been little to no intimacy in her life for at least 3 years. We don't know what kind of person James is (or was) and perhaps MC is similar to him, although this would be too convenient.
