We did not need any flashbacks, their usefulness is to help you understand the characters better.

Lana needs them because 'maybe' she'll come back into the picture, whereas a regular character like Sage definitely doesn't, heaven forbid.

Sage will probably have a flash back this coming episode, to show her relationship with the Burkes, and maybe even her childhood, because while we know she was a foster kid before she was adopted, we don't know what she's been through.

We don't need another flashback showing her relationship with Chad because we've seen all we need to know.

We got a flashback with Jill to show her relationship with Lana, who we still have more to find out about (I don't believe her involvement in the story has no consequence).

We don't need a flashback to show us Josy has fucked other guys in the past, but it's clear she has.

We got a flashback with how Josy, Maya and Derek all knew each other.

We don't need a flashback as to why Tybalt is such a fuckhead.

And so on.

This has nothing to do with me disagreeing purely because it's a criticism levelled at DPC (I have stated many times that I didn't like much about AL, and the ending was boring as fuck). No, this is about me disagreeing because it's you.

Actually, Ren'Py code is very simple and, though you can complicate it, in most parts, it's almost declaratory. So, for instance, in Ep. 4, Jade's scene, we have this snippet:

There's no difference between declaring movies or images, thus, he could substitute anim_jade_doggy9_ep4.webp for anim_jade_doggy9_ep4.webm (he could even use a blank image or any other image); when anim_jade_doggy9_ep4.webm is ready, he just change the extension.

As you can see, it's very simple and to mess with it one has to be very dumb (which is not DPC's case). So it's perfectly possible to test it with stand-ins without adding any bug because it can't even be considered an algorithm to have a bug for starters.

i was watching the stills of scenes that play on the game menu and i saw 2 that i haven't seen at all in the game , #1 mona and sage in the sauna and #2 the diks dancing on their fraternity.
are those in the game or are just special renders?

Some scenes from the main menu are not in the game, so yes. They are just special renders for menu.
But they may well be cut content, such a possibility exists.

Some scenes from the main menu are not in the game, so yes. They are just special renders for menu.
But they may well be cut content, such a possibility exists.

You may recall the render of Cammy & Riona sitting on the wall. That featured on the opening screen way before it featured in the actual story. Pretty cool.

This is not a documentary it's a porn game based on the 80's and 90's comedy movies

Obviously (porno?) I've seen the best one, the masterpiece of that comedy: John Landis' "Animal House" and almost all the stupid imitations made in the 80s and 90s based on the unsurpassed AH but BeingDik is written today and comes with a lot more content than the comedy on which it is based.

Why not add something less stupid .. what I mean the comedy(s) you are talking about have a duration of just over an hour ... the stories were stupid and inconsistent .... here we have so many seasons that should cover the individual stories in detail of the characters .... ms writing a more interesting story based on those comedies adapting it to today's problems would be much better ... I think the game would become much more interesting rather than just being a nostalgic remake of a past that no longer existing

The story has not a center and the result is an inconsitent plot with characters with characters taken at random from

The game definitely doesn't have a "center" as of yet. We've spent 8 episodes getting to know and fuck a bunch of girls, get involved in, and solve random problems, and basically just float around college.

Kinda like a real college experience, with perhaps a bit more fucking.

But I think the game does need a stronger thread to emerge now, something to drive the next season, if not the rest of the game.

The third practice - Episode 8, the first free roam.
But it's best to click the guitar every time you free roam, so you never miss it.

It doesn't matter, but not because I don't like to criticize DPC and also not because of any NTR-related matter; it's so because: 1) I think it was a bad conception in the first place: Sage doesn't fit the dumb-blonde-bimbo stereotype, thus she and Chad doesn't fit together, and we're left with this "mystery"; 2) trying to solve it would in fact be a workaround... like a "patch", and it would have to be made in one of those expository pauses in the narrative, which are bad per se.

As we can learn from one of the best books in scriptwriting, Robert McKee's Story:


And exposition that doesn't blend into the action is bad because it's easy. It's way harder to be creative and show the information needed surreptitiously than to pause the story and do one of those prologues or interludes.

So, Sage & Chad relationship is bad because the audience can't reasonably and easily assume why it has happened. But trying to fix would be worst, because the missing fact doesn't cause confusion, and trying to fix it would make us endure another one of those bad expository pieces that aren't parsed out in the main plot action.

But it's possible you did agree with felice, because the reason he's pushing his requirement for an explanation is because he believes their relationship doesn't make any sense. So you may not be out of the woods yet!

You wrote that there is no plot in this game, I'm already losing count of how many times you did it. But at the same time, you wrote yesterday that Chad as Columbiner (the school shooter) and MC saving the college from him would be a great script. Three conclusions:
1. You either didn't understand anything about the characters of this game and their motivation, and perhaps you have not even played it. Because Chad isn't even close to being a villain.
2. I won't elaborate on what you're wrong about, but... Please don't become a writer. You will save the world if you don't.
3. I feel sorry for you, that your college life was boring.

I guess it was about the situation and people. Most people are afraid of Jocks so no way they are going to flirt or try to fuck sage. Pretty sure some of the diks tried but from the following flashback sage was bat shit crazy about chad and that one of the reason despite chad cheating she didn't left him. If chad someone become straight and return to her, I think she will definitely start dating him again. Also, Sage is tame if Mc is not on her route. (Probably a closet freak)

If you see Sage back in the flashback, a few years back, she comes across a lot more naïve, definitely the Sage we know now is more mature (in some ways).

But I believe she would have been a loyal girlfriend. She was not actually looking for a fuckbuddy, and only fell into the mc's arms after she was convinced of Chad's unfaithfulness and enough was enough. For how long she put up with Chad's BS we don't know, but she reached her breaking point at the time the mc came into her life.

I don't really see what's so hard to accept.
