its literally the dumbest thing you could do, the most high quality games (production quality, not story etc.) on average, have a new update every 3 months now divide this over four games that get made at the same time and you get an up date a year if your lucky. No one, not a single person, will remember a game if it drops updates twice in 3 years. At least not if it starts that way.
That is correct, and realistically we will only be able to develop one game.
The other three or two will be abandoned forever.

Developer Diary: New Progress and Exciting Updates

After a week’s break, I’m back to share the latest developments in the progress of Beyond The Game. During this time, I’ve been working intensely on the game, and I’m excited to share a few new updates with you.

  • Story Expansions and New Chapters: I’ve been focusing heavily on the new story expansions, and the next chapter is almost complete. This chapter is packed with surprises, with characters developing more deeply and the story becoming even more immersive. I’ve placed a special emphasis on narrative to make the game’s atmosphere more engaging than ever.
  • Visual and Performance Enhancements: To make the game world more vibrant and captivating, I’ve made some important graphical updates. With new lighting effects and environmental details, the world will look more realistic than ever. Additionally, I’ve implemented performance improvements to ensure the game runs more smoothly.
  • Community Interaction: Your support and suggestions mean the world to me. Last week, I launched a community poll to better understand what players are expecting and what they’d like to see in the game. Based on the results, I’ve started integrating some of the community’s requests. Every piece of feedback you’ve provided has been invaluable in helping me improve the game.
Development is moving at full speed, and I’ll be sharing a new update with you soon. I couldn’t have come this far without your support, so I want to thank each and every one of you once again!

Please continue to share your thoughts and suggestions. Together, we’ll make Beyond The Game the best it can be.

Thank you, and happy gaming!

Is it just me, or all the main characters kind of look the same? Also, the conversations look a bit off, and look like AI-written scripts.

The models are good but the script i feel like you r using AI to write the script. Even though i didn't skip any word i get confused who they r talking about. You need to focus more on ur script.

Ok, so... a coach who apparently doesn't wear a bra during basketball practice. A school nurse who only wears a bra under he jacket, a mother figure who thinks it's ok to hug her teenage foster kid in nothing but her lingerie and that's just in the first few scenes.... yup, nothing about this seems wrong or outside of reality at all.

Also, the worst part about this game is that the developer left all of the introduction of the game in the description on the OP and then put none of it in the game. I didn't start it directly after downloading it, it's been about a week. So I actually had to go back to this page to figure out what the hell is going on. That's a really bad way to write a game.

Edit:
.... and the teacher is in a seethrough shirt with her nipples showing. Yup, this is just asinine.

Wait... did he literally misspell Brian for Brain in every single instance even the dude's sayer name? Holy shit.... And Calep instead of Caleb? What is wrong with this dev?

Couldn't take the dumbass naming. Unren the game, extract the RPA's, delete the RPAs and replace the files in the game folder with these. Brain is now Brian (I skipped over the one use of the word brain) and Calep is now Caleb.

Ok wow... no. Just no. I played through to the ending. Just no.

Hire a writer, redo the beginning, actually tell an F'n story. Don't just jump from scene to scene with literally nothing happening and introduce people we literally don't give a crap about because you give nothing about who they are.

This has got to be one of the worst stories with some of the best renders and animations. How can you put so much time and effort into making it look good only to piss all over that effort with the horrible writing?

Good start, looking forward to future chapters. Hopefully mc will grow and not have others enforce their will on him all the time. Renders are hot, animation is good. Game could improve but it's good for what it is.

Hey, Rock the Rim followers!

We've reached an important milestone in our development process. As of now, we are in the final stages of completing the height proportions for all characters in our game! We have integrated realistic height differences between our main character, André, and his friends as well as other key characters. This feature will enhance character interactions and contribute to a more natural and immersive atmosphere in the scenes.

We have given our main character a default name: André. However, we have provided players with the flexibility to change this name at the beginning of the game, allowing you to personalize your gaming experience.

Additionally, we are excited to share that new scenes and animations have been added to enrich the narrative, which delves deep into André’s childhood trauma, his family's past, and the relationships that shape his current life. This dramatic and emotional story will bring character dynamics to the forefront.

All of our music in Rock the Rim has been crafted with original lyrics just for you! These songs will enhance the atmosphere of the scenes and add a unique depth and intensity to the game. Supported by sound effects and ambient sounds, this special music will make Rock the Rim an unforgettable experience.

We’ve also made some changes to the game’s flow, introducing fresh and new experiences without straying from the main storyline. To make the characters’ stories more understandable, we’ve added additional scenes and refined the dialogues. This makes the narrative smoother and more engaging.

Currently, we are in the process of rendering scenes, and our project is about 85% complete. Moving forward, we will begin sharing progress bar updates to make our development process more transparent and engaging. Just wait for this phase to be completed, and we promise to be much more active on Patreon afterward!

Stay tuned for more updates, including the release date and gameplay videos. Get ready to see how André progresses in both his basketball and music careers!

The dialogue is terrible, its stiff and nonsensical and makes no sense. Same for the "story", its terribly written and shit just happens with no sense of flow at all.

Hey Rim Rockers,

It’s been 30 days since our last big update, and we’ve made incredible progress at RWA Studios! From the moment we set up our new office, we hit the ground running, and the results have been nothing short of amazing. Today, we’re excited to share a sneak peek into everything we’ve been working on. So, let’s dive right in and take a closer look at the milestones we’ve achieved and the exciting projects on the horizon!

The Studio in Action
Since moving into our new “office,” we’ve been doing our best to make it feel like… well, an actual office!

Truth be told, it’s more of a home office for now—emphasis on “home.” My partner and I have pretty much dedicated ourselves entirely to the work, and this place has become a mix of brainstorming space, render HQ, and occasional living room. Don’t expect fancy setups just yet—we’re still missing a lot of basics.

The walls are bare, but don’t worry, character-themed artwork is on the way. Proper lighting? Not quite there yet, so it’s a bit of a cave vibe for now. And our dedicated render room? Still under construction (but hey, the machines are humming wherever we can fit them!). Oh, and a rug to tie the whole place together? Nope, not yet.

Here’s a glimpse of our wonderfully chaotic, still-a-work-in-progress space:

Every great journey starts somewhere, right?

What We’ve Been Working On
Rock the Rim

A Story-Driven Launch

The upcoming release of Rock the Rim will mark the debut of André’s journey with a deeply engaging, story-driven format. For this initial release, we’re focusing on delivering a polished and cohesive introduction to the world of Rock the Rim, where players will immerse themselves in André’s life, struggles, and dreams.

The first episode will be a comprehensive start, featuring an estimated average of 1,500 renders across its three parts. Future parts are expected to include 1,000-2,000 renders each, with full episodes averaging around 5,000 renders. This structure ensures a rich and cinematic storytelling experience for every chapter of André’s journey.

Refined Characters and Their Stories
In Rock the Rim, we’ve gone the extra mile to ensure every character feels authentic, dynamic, and deeply connected to the story. From their physical appearances to their emotional expressions, we’ve meticulously crafted each detail to make André’s world come alive.

Here’s what’s new and improved:

  • Realistic Height Differences: Every character now has carefully adjusted height proportions, adding depth and authenticity to their interactions. These subtle differences enhance the sense of realism, whether it’s a friendly conversation or a heated confrontation.
  • Enhanced Facial Expressions: We’ve refined character animations to capture a wide range of emotions, making every dialogue and scene feel more natural and engaging. From André’s quiet determination to the sly smirk of a rival, the cast truly comes to life.
  • Distinctive Physical Features: Each character’s appearance has been carefully crafted to reflect their personalities and backstories. From athletic builds to unique style choices, these details ensure every individual stands out and feels true to their role in André’s journey.
  • Main Character Enhancements: André’s design has been further polished to reflect his dual passions for basketball and music. His subtle physical traits and expressions help players connect with his struggles and ambitions on a deeper level.
These updates ensure that the characters of Rock the Rim not only look stunning but also feel like integral parts of a vivid, living world. Every interaction, gesture, and moment adds richness to the narrative, pulling players further into the story.

This refined attention to detail makes Rock the Rim more than a game—it’s an experience where characters feel as real as the challenges they face.

Immersive Music and Sound Design
Music is at the heart of Rock the Rim. From powerful, emotionally charged ballads to energetic beats that echo the thrill of the basketball court, every piece of music has been crafted to elevate the narrative. Paired with meticulously designed sound effects, the soundtrack ensures that every scene resonates deeply with players.

Revamped Visuals and Content
While Rock the Rim doesn’t feature entirely new characters or environments for this initial release, here’s what we’ve achieved so far:

  • Enhanced environments to bring André’s world to life with stunning detail and realism.
  • Improved character designs for André and other key players, ensuring every detail feels intentional and impactful.
  • Minor adjustments to animations for smoother and more dynamic storytelling.
These updates ensure a visually cohesive experience that aligns with the immersive narrative of the game.

What’s Next?
The first episode is just the beginning of Rock the Rim. Each subsequent part will expand the story, adding new layers to André’s journey in both basketball and music. While this release focuses on delivering a strong foundation, future updates will continue to push the boundaries of storytelling and player engagement.

With an average of 1,500 renders in the first episode and a full season expected to include approximately 5,000 renders, Rock the Rim promises a visually rich and deeply engaging experience that grows with every release.

This approach ensures flexibility while maintaining a clear commitment to delivering a high-quality, immersive experience.

Here’s a sneak peek at one of the updated scenes:

Thank you for your support and enthusiasm for Rock the Rim. Your feedback drives us to deliver the best experience possible, and we’re excited to bring André’s story to life with you. Stay tuned for more news and sneak peeks soon!
