The CURRENT early game situation with (EVIL SCUM) Eric as I see it.
At this point we DON'T really know ANYTHING. We have been introduced and seen the dinner conversation. That's all we have so far. I think that (and kind of hope) what has happened was a bit quick (and small changes may be made). Going to war/becoming friends should have been delayed a little longer. The Dinner is GOOD, as Max can become a bit JEALOUS, and gives opportunities for him to improve his relationships with the ladies. The introduction conversation should have (in my opinion) been just a brief hello sort of thing. Thus we would have been given the intro, some opportunities, and a starting point for the Eric character to develop.
Over the next several updates I expect that we will see more development between Max and Eric. I don't know how Aleksey90 will handle this, but hope that it will be smallish steps towards EVIL SCUM or friends based on our choices. Maybe Max catches Eric flirting with the sisters and likes/hates it. Perhaps Eric takes the ladies out and Max accepts or objects. This would allow Eric to become a more REAL character instead of just the shell we have now, and had in the original.
At this point I agree that EVIL SCUM Eric isn't really important. HOWEVER, we don't really know anything yet, so condemning the game is harsh and not called for. If the story for the EVIL ONE stays the same then I'd agree that it's not good story telling (though I do want EVIL SCUM Eric GONE). We are still VERY early in the game (and don't really know anything yet) so PLEASE give it a couple updates to develop before declaring it horrible.
That's just my PERSONAL position. As happens in these forums, other people will feel differently. This is all feelings right now (since the game has just started), so I intend to wait and see. Yes, I'd like to see less Eric, but things may change as updates arrive and EVIL SCUM Eric may be VERY important and NOT just a distraction. Only time (and updates) will let us know.

Personally the only interaction i want with Eric (as it was in the original game) is to sucker punch him and throw him off the balcony as soon as possible

In the end, what people want from this game is options, the dev told in the beggining before patreon poke him and he made the "step-family" that the game will have options for those that wanted eric and those who don't and he was needed (because he is just copying the original), but he is the reincarnation of todd howard, he make Ann an cheap slut. One dude that come from nowhere have more power than the son that she raised (and now with the step-family it look like because he is adopted that his family shit on him). We could at least have options to cockblock him until he goes fishing...
take a peek into images folder, i though this is a sequel but seems like rewriting the whole story. gonna take a while to deflowering Lisa ( if we can reach at that point ). prolly ill see this again next year.

At first I was ok, here we go again another shitty clone.
But no, this feels like a proper 2.0 that we all wanted. New renders, touched up gameplay, it even got his first animation and it wasn't shit, colour me impressed. My only worry is when the story hit the original ending, what then?
I liked the slow burn story whit hoops and pitfalls Dark Silver implemented, Aleksey showed he can do better then DK in render and gameplay department but story wise we don't know much yet and the it one of integral parts of BB.

I hope this new dev will go back to the original romance that was planned before darksilver got mad that his game got pirated.
Lisa wanted romance and Max was going to give it to her but darksilver in the very next update changed the story and went to bullshit.

What happened with darksilver after that? i never heard of him for a long time...and i don't know why, but sometimes i think he is back with another username.
Ok, i'm being reading a bit the comments and I have a question, its the NTR avoidable? I have not played the game yet, but I'm a vanilla kinda guy, if this is not avoidable I will pass.

If it goes by the original eric is Ann boyfriend and she has sex with him. (This is not NTR)
You can block him from Max's sisters and aunt in the original BB but we will have to wait and see what happens in this version.
Players who like NTR can allow eric to have Max's sisters and aunt but for me I block his ass everytime.
NTR is avoidable as long as you work towards that end. (If its the same as the original BB game.)

Unfortunately no, the dev had planned to make it optional, but in the end you can't do anything to stop it. No matter what level of relationship you have in the game, she ignores the MC completely and has sex with Eric. If you want a little better, go to the original, this one is just a copy paste.
Oh yeah, there was another one, thats why the game sounds a bit to me. The girls looks more clean in this one tho.
I remember that I give the original game a try, but when I played it was... a bit messy? it looked more like messy sandbox, I don't know how (because I had the cheat mod in that time? i dont remember) but In the beginning I was like grinding for the base status and out of nowhere I was having sex without any type of proper develop... yeah its a porn game but you just don't need to throw a sex scene without a path, I liked more the Man of the House style in this kind of scenario.

There is a lot of good games here, with a lot of fetishes, damn, yesterday i seen a horse farm simulator, but the game is not that bad, is only bad because you dont have choices, i prefer a good history with choices than a copy paste like this one. Also another thing is that here he have realy nice devs, not everyone, but the ones that i have been talking in discord are realy nice people.
