The people who disliked him absolutely would not shut the fuck up about him, sure, and nor would they just go play some different game, so a lot of the comments on the Patreon were people complaining about Eric. The poll results still showed they weren't the majority.

Fair enough, I'm not trying to shit on the game and hopefully another mod will be created to instantly remove eric.
Best of luck to the dev and hopefully this doesn't get abandoned as it is a great game just not for me with this character.

Was really thinking of giving this a go but noticed the NTR tag. Sorry I know this is not supposed to be exactly like for like remake of the original game so I don't even understand why the dev put eric in the game again in the first place. Yeah it's probably to recreate the controversy that the original game created with this subject and good on the dev, But the biggest majority of players hated Eric so adding him makes little sense in gaining a bigger percentage of players. Or at least give the player an option of not appearing in the game at all. Even tho the 'Landlady' shall we call her isn't intimate with the mc yet she is still a potential LI for the mc and there for seeing her fuck Eric still gives of all the typical feelings that cuckolding and ntr comes with for players who don't enjoy that fetish or seeing another female fuck another man/women.
If there was a mod that removed Eric or the dev gave the option to remove him from the very beginning then I would be willing to give this a go but as it is I can't stand playing the game with him in it and it's a shame that he has been brought back.

For me one of BB favorite fans I have no problem with this kind of so called "NTR" in BB because I could blocked him from all girls but for his and I will say it again "HIS" girlfriend Ann.

eric is Ann boyfriend and she has no relationship with Max other than being his mom until later in the game after getting rid of eric.

eric tells Max his plane for Max's family and right then and there I tried everything the game allowed to block him.

Getting rid of him was very sweet revenge on my part and would do it over and over again.

I do not considered this as "NTR".

Often without them initially knowing until the very end. The parallel to this is Netori, where the main character is the one doing the stealing.

Starting out none of the girls are Max's primary love interest that comes later in the game.
Max finds out about what eric wants to do to his family and while Max does everything he can do to keep all the girls away from eric but for eric's girlfriend Ann he starts to fall in love with them, more so with Lisa than the others but still yet he starts to fall in love with all of them and after getting rid of eric he can start to show them that.
Then DS changed the story up and made Max nothing but a sex craze piece of shit instead of the romance DS promise early in the game.
DS hated that his game was pirated so he changed up from romance to what it ended with.
When he dropped BB he lost almost half of his patreon base and well over 15k a month, before he hid his income coming in it was close to 30k a month but now it is somewhere about 9k a month and that's only because he has reintroduce the girls from BB into his new game without the family relationship.
After reintroducing the girls from BB he is now back to about 2k patreons from the nearly 2700 he had for BB.

I know that Eric is the hot topic and neither side will win over fans from the other, but I do wish to point out that I believe a big part of people (incl. me) who want to keep Eric in the story are not so much into NTR stuff but like the wrestle with him. I like the underdog position, that you slowly weasel and corrupt your way into the girls' panties while Eric tries the same from his - superior - position. Seeing him actually fuck the girls is a "game over" for me, not what I get the hots for. Not speaking for the Dev, but I believe he has a similar position from what I have gathered, he "hated" him too, but believes he is essential.

I understand and respect if you believe Eric needs to go instantly, just trying to illuminate why I like him storywise ("I like to hate him") and absolutely not kink -wise

If someone wants to make a harem,he should get rid of Eric sooner or later.Also there is no point to keep him to the end unless you are aiming at game over.I know plenty of people get excited from game over.Just not my thing.

Guys first of all i dont understand why are you speeking about eric, i know he is hated cuz he was made such asshole but this is new game new story so he doesnt have to be pure evil if Aleksey doesnt make him that, so hate for him is on something that is not known will it happen here.
Next you have 2 paths, path 1 where you can make friend with him, and path where you can kill him and no more eric content for you. For those who want him in game there is good ally path, for those who doesnt just kill the ratt.

I'm not new, I have been lurking this forum since a few years, but I couldn't remember my old account after not login for a time, so I just made a new one.

I just disagree with your definition of NTR, Eric and all that, since Ann is a love interest because it's an incest game. The NTR is not only about love interest, but also with loved ones of the MC, his family and close friends too, so Eric getting with Ann after the game is past the intro is NTR, since he is getting with a future love interest and a family member/loved one of the MC without the MC having the posibility of doing something about it.

I don't like Eric, I don't like NTR and I don't share your view of NTR because it's flawled, since there are plenty of NTR stories where the NTR guy gets with the mom or sister of the MC and the MC wasn't even trying to get with them, they were just MC's family, so according to your def it wouldn't be NTR, but it is.

But I didn't want to expand on that because you have your own definition of NTR and won't change it even if someone show you that what you said is wrong, so I just facepalmed because it's easier.

You are forgetting that in the war path, people will have to suffer him longer if you don't want to lose future content with the family and other characters. So being forced to have a guy that you hate and if you get rid of him fast then you lose content isn't a great thing. If you want him in the game, good for you, but the people that don't like him are forced to have him during a long time, all this updates including 0.4 will have him in the game, then in the 0.5 you can't get him to fuck off if you want all the content, so we will have to wait at least to 0.6, maybe 0.7 and that's a long time to have a character that you hate in a game.

There is no good Eric, Aleksey said that soon Eric's true intentions will be known. Also there will be porn movies in game. I can't see that happening with Eric in the game. At some point it's Max are Eric, one way is game over, I'll go the other way.

I'm pretty sure if Eric was Ann's brother and they had this incest secret from their past that he wanted to relive, and Ann felt guilty about it.. his whole character would be much more torelable for a lot of people. Even being an evil villan that wanted to take advantage of his nieces. It could even be a proper motive for Max to be interested in his sisters/mother, instead of being just a horny kid.
