Sci-Fi are probably the worst genre for Erotic games. End ends up concentration on every other aspect beside the actual porn(and characters, places and outfits looking weird). And while there are a lot of BB remakes, they all tend to actually have less content then the original one for some reason, despite having years and years of times for new development and tons of fanarts and ideas going around.I'm thinking of starting a Big Brother "remake" (because there aren't nearly enough of those

remakes having less content are probably (IMO) due to support not being there as much as the original, and instead of putting in the work and getting it done, all they do is milk the few supporters they have as much as possible for the little they can get
plus the original one had pretty decent renders, and remakes have just small improvements here and there, basically no animations, plus you already know the story more or less, so the interest because of the story has simply faded away, and add the stupid grind to that and people just lose all interest
the NTR orientated remake was different, dev released it in basically 2 hits, the whole original story I mean, made from scratch, and was quick with patching few broken things, NTR isn't my thing so I haven't followed further development, but there was talk of animations and extended scenes or something like that, not sure if he captured the audience and gained support to continue the work
so, if you have all the assets to do it, can release a complete story quickly, doesn't have to be long, but has to be complete, then there probably will be people who will support that sort of thing, but if it turns out to be another blueballfest or 10 scenes with 500 renders, which turn out to be a couple 5sec animations which consist of 1sec looped 5 times, which add to 300 renders alone, then a scene is considered exchanging couple dialog lines with a character or two which doesn't even push the main story along, and that turns out to be maybe 5min of gameplay released every 4-5 months or so, all buggy and shit, then forget it, don't even start
Hello guys ... because of this topic I started to play with rendering in DAZ and I have a question ... is it possible to switch the calculations to the AMD GPU in this program. I have a 6000 series radeon ... on the CPU it goes very slowly.

No, it isn't. That would be something that AMD would have to produce and DAZ then implement. That is why the only GPU renderer is from nVidia. DAZ developers only implement code already created by the GPU manufacturers, they do not produce any of the actual render engines themselves. AMD currently has shown no interest in making a renderer compatible with DAZ Studio.

AFAIK it's not possible if you're using the iRay render. You can try switching to the 3Delight render engine in the render settings but I'm not sure how the shaders will work.

Well, the balance of story/content is really up to the developer and not at all connected to the genre I think. The only "overhead" that the sci-fi has is "explaining" to the user how things work and it's not that different from the "fantasy" genre. As for how outfits / places and characters look, true - the lack of similar styled assets in Daz is a limiting factor, but when you think of it, the original BB didn't have that much outfits for the girls in the house (just a couple if I remember correctly - pre-Kira and post-Kira) and a couple of uniforms for Ann and Lisa.
The original had good content (for it's time) but when you actually look at it now, it's like 100 images for each update and by today's standards they are not that great in terms of detail for example.
Anyway, this is not the thread for that discussion - it's for posting fan art, so here is one alternative for the Alice's arachnophobia, which I guess can be named 'xenomorphobia'
