Is it ok to just use this Mod as is - or will those extra files affect anything?

No they don't affect anything. But I recommend to delete the data folder and mod_execption and mod_export.txt

I am confused here. I start playing this, but things are still in Russian and I cannot do half of everything because I don't know what it is. Such as the cheat menu, most all the options are in Russian....but this was supposed to be moded into english already. Right? I hit L to make it English, and it's still half in Russian. I am confused.

There is also no instructions on how to install "Big Brother Mod Smirniy v.0.20.0.15 English v2", if that is why it is still half in Russian.

Furthermore, the Guide doesn't tell you what options to pick in conversations either.

Just extract the data folder and mod.txt files into big brother directory where Big Brother.exe is located.

For 0.21
At 10:00 Lisa has only standard dialog options and top extra option which is for advancing stories. If you see only two dialogs in later game stages, there is nothing to advance.
At 12:00 Max either leaves the pool or has a quest related talk.
At 20:00 for studio visit it is "enter" and remind about going to studio.
At 21:00 It is "What are you watching" and "I want something else". Most confusing part due to all other videos stuffed in there.
At 3:00 It is about watching porn with Kira.

In order to make Alice punish Max and Lisa, Max has to do anal with Lisa in the kitchen or use some other sex options from original game. Lisa does not "report" to Alice times when she and Max have sex in mod content.

If you are just starting the game, key dialog choice is "Forget Alex".

OK, got the english working. Thank you.

Now I am having interface problems. Cannot see all of text for conversations, it goes off the screen. Cannot scroll down quick enough in the Message Course to buy it, when I try to click it moves back up before I can click it. Is this because I am playing at 4K settings? I tried changing DPI settings many ways and also setting to 1080, still same issues.

Update. Ok, now I go to sleep...and I cannot click anything....nothing is happening. He is just laying there. Nothing to click.

Hhmmm... might it happen because had you set the screen resolution high too much?

So, try to find the way (i.e. even scrolling the screen with your mouse) to choose a standard 1600x900 one, and let's hope it fits. Otherwise, mess a little with some other ones, also to have some fun when doing it. Good luck!

The other thing you can try is your TV settings, sometimes that needs to be set to "Native" instead of 16:9 or Theater Wide or some other option

Could someone please post a full save at the start of the new update?? I looked and couldn't find a save with everything unlocked at the start of this version.. For some reason I can't find my last save and I'm not really sure where I am in the game.

This zip was already posted on forum before and it got 0.20 save. That save is missing one event in clinic to flag "Side effects" as finished.

Ok, I downloaded the 1.6 torrent and the 1.6 patch. I patched the the game by overwriting files...and half the language (especially in cheat menu) is in russian....AGAIN. So, what's the deal here?

Also, when I go to sleep...I can't do anything. NO option's. All the screen says is "I really need to sleep". Nothing to click, no options.

I also have NO idea what the sliders are in Settings menu, since they have no text about them.

Really getting fed up with trying to play this game. I don't want to start again, because it takes 30 min to get the cheats all set up because you don't allow us to type the numbers in and we have to click up for every single number, making it take forever to get Max. Could you make this so we can enter the numbers by typing them in, and not click over and over again?

You have to 1st apply patch and then re apply the translation patch.

Also can you plz send screenshot of your BB directory.
You might need to delete mod_export.txt and mod_exeptions.txt from bb directory and the data folder if they exist.

And if that doesn't work, I recommend hash checking the files using the torrent. And then reapplying the translation patch again.
