If you have never played/heard of it, this post will contain SPOILERS.I'm a bit confused. Does your partner come back to you after what could be a chapter of humiliation, or does she not? Both your view points agree on that the MC isn't happy about sharing their LI with Eric. Does this mean he's portrayed as a pushover, or does he have reasons to do "business" with Eric? I don't mind spoilers. I can see there may be a fine line here between NTS and NTR and that's what appeals to me, but I'd like to know it there's some point where you can flip the game on Eric and either win back your LI exclusively, or at least end in a situation where you're in control (as in, not simply accepting because you find out you have a fetish for being humiliated). I think I read somewhere in this thread that the "deal" with Eric is one-sided, and you don't get anything out of it - is that the case, is it unavoidable if you take the sharing path, or can you play it to get some satisfaction from it in the end, come out on top, have your LI tell Eric she's yours even if you're sharing, something like that.
-----------------------------SPOILERS--------------------------------------------------
It goes like this, Max (MC) learns Eric's secrets that could darken his life. The game then offers us 3 options (actually 2);
1- Report Eric to the mafia he had problems with before and have him leave the house and even the city.
2- Give Eric's secrets to the woman who runs the nightclub (Kate's mother) and have her use him as a slave there, thus preventing him from appearing before us.
3- Reaching an agreement with Eric.
While the first two options allow us to get rid of Eric, the third option opens the way for NTR. The real problem here is that MC is the strong side when making an agreement, MC is the one with the trump card, but Eric is the one who gets everything he wants in the game. Once you enter the NTR path, you cannot go back. You have to do what Eric wants to advance the game. However, MC is the one who blackmails. Before fully entering the NTR path, Eric, although it is known that he is in a relationship with Anna, is trying to get the women in the house, in other words, steal from the MC as the story requires (by force or by seducing). In other words, he can be called NTR. However, when you choose the NTR path (i.e. when you make a deal with Eric), there is no stealing anymore.
First, Max demands that Anna get close to him sexually. Eric says that Anna will not accept this, but he says that he can arrange sex lessons. In return, he demands to get close to Alice. Max invites Eric to the broadcasts with Alice as part of this agreement. Since Eric, Alice and Max being in the same room at home would attract suspicion, they go to Eric's house. Later on, Max allows Alice to give Eric a blowjob, but they are not allowed to have sex. Then Eric breaks this ban, and Max submits as if he is not the one blackmailing. (Maybe this part can be described as "stealing" but Max can say you broke the deal and stop Eric from broadcasting, after all Max has the trump card. Since he is in a position to blackmail Alice, it would be absurd for Alice to act as she pleases.) Later on, Eric starts not allowing Max to come to the broadcasts at his own house, but as I said Eric is the one who is threatened with death....
This is the main problem of the game, it creates the illusion of a choice but there is none. The blackmailer is MC but the one who acts as if he is being blackmailed is MC. The only place where we really make a choice is when we decide whether to get rid of Eric or not. Everything after that is an illusion. After making a deal with Eric, we are not allowed to break the deal. We have to fulfill every request or the game does not progress. The side opportunities (this is how the game is called) are not independent of each other. The game always gets stuck somewhere. The path without NTR does not continue and does not contain animation. If you like the in-game graphics etc. you can also try NTR but as I said it is a more forced path. I think we should be able to get rid of Eric whenever we want and go the non-NTR path. However the producer did not choose to do this. Since there is an agreement, it is debatable whether it is really NTR or Cuckolding.
I wrote too much. English is not my native language, so there may be mistakes. I used translation.
