Like others have mentioned, I think the best solution is to go for the landlor/tenants story (if possible) and offer an incest patch that fixes the relationships.
I hope this will be possible to do, because I’d really like to see more content for BB.

As far as I know, the upcoming version will be released the 2nd of Feb no matter what.

So, a very simple way out of this situation with patreon rules is simply to release a "censored" version, but after the first synchronization with the server all the text will be "normal".

Hi there.

I think PayPal is the problem. If I remember correctly, they agreed making funding of NSFW content a possibility with PayPal, which, to my knowledge, is not standard operating procedure.
I think, and that is just the conspiracy-nutter in me, that Patreon got hustled by PayPal. By letting PayPal into the mix and thereby raising their own revenue, they suddenly stand to lose a lot, if PayPal pulls their support of Patreon.
I can totally see, the puritans of PayPal demanding that Patreon take a harder stance on certain things, but that is just to see, how compliant Patron really is. In the long run, PayPal will try and force Patreon to conform to their own puritan ideals, and adult content on Patreon will go bye-bye.
If this is not the case, then it makes no sense, that they have allowed developers creating these games in the first place.​

Yep, conspiracy. Patreon started witch-hunt bc of a new investor. And paypal don't give a shit about nsfw patreon pages. Their biggest problem with nsfw content (everywhere) - hight percentage of declined transactions. There were many cases, stolen credit cards, for example, that were used to buy multiple premium accounts on porn sites. And they didn't like the patreon idea of hundreds of thousands people spending 1 dollar every month. But after patreon explained that paypal will not be used for cases with declined payments, they happily agreed to work with them.

i just installed the game on my work rig..that's not connected to the
internet...the (licensed version) works fine..you will see a message
at the loading screen...about the game updates ect.

Exept ofc that this idea requires a complete rewrite of the scipt for the "cencored" version. That is anything but simple in my book. It would be a good thing if it was done by a person who majored in English but it would still mean a shitload of work. And if you wanted the new scipt to be easely transformed to uncencored this has to be planned in the rewrite. Adding to the workload.

or the can go through the trouble of completely rewriting a censored script.

Yeah most likely. I mean it would be better than removing Patreon account. It will be censored and back on Patreon for sure. Dunno about patch as it's different game type than typical renpy but It's likely.

Doubtful. Without Patreon DMD, DoD, SS or BB won't even reach 1k most likely. Without playerbase and paypal small devs don't exist. And Paypal doesn't accept porn in any form so normal sites can't use it. If that was so simple as moving from patreon all suspended devs would do so.

Dating my Daughter just removed the words father, daddy and daughter from the text and made a patch or code to put them back in (I don't remember which) and the same thing can be done to BB.
