Have they complained about any of the renders or models looking underage?
If not, as others have said you could make Max be Eric's son instead. 'Someone' could make a patch to restore the original storyline.

They said about some concers about underage, but it's a not a real problem for now. We have a good disclamer at the beginning of the game and there is no age mentions in the game at all.
But a lot of content between family members should be removed anyway.

Do what Faerin has for Man of the House, have them as housemates and then patches can be made to fix it.

Chin up, chest out! You will have to do some rewriting (replacing titles ( mom, son, bro, sis by variables) , add a few pages at the begin of the game and the show will go on. Everyone will understand if this will officially will be a landladys house with guests and set back by a patch to original content. Other devs did this, too.

Just make him an exchange student and you will only have to change very little to go on and a patch to reverse it.
If he becomes Eric's son you will have to rewrite the first 2 months of game play at least.
In my opinion a huge part of the story is also about the sex blockade between Max, Lisa (vaginal) and Ann. I would rather make Max a neighbor who grew up with the family since the beginning. Otherwise if he would be Eric's son or landlord/lady a lot of the story wouldn't make sense anymore like the blockade.

Max is an exchange student visiting america, but doing "online classes". Eric was Ann's origional husband and all the other children are Ann's.
Max wanted to seduce the family for himself and had to find a way to get rid of Eric.
Eric was into some shady shit and Max called him on it with one of two options leave forever, or he was going to turn him into the people he owed a ton of money to.
The reason Max has to pay Ann weekly is to keep the people Eric was involved with want payment for the money that is owed to them.
Ann has to continue doing porn to help pay as well.
Just my two cents worth.

Bummer. Well he would have to change relations to all characters. Because there are content between Lisa/Kira, Ann/Kira, Ann/Lisa/Alice, Alice/Lisa, etc (incest)... So that exchange student thing would be only small part of changes.

Godmother is just a title of the person who in the event of your parents' death would become your guardian, not considered extended family.

You could change mom to landlady, sisters to roommates, aunt to landlady's friend to appease patreon.
Then use

True, so it has to be a landlady scenario. But who cares if there is a patch? The fake scenario is only to satisfy patreon. So this fake scenario has not to be real good ....

Not much people are realising that sadly. For them to let him continue he would have to change the relations of ALL the characters, not just one.
Best bet is to make your own website or if worst comes to worst, create an indiegogo page every month. Only problem is that perks would have to be removed which means no pre release for top tiers.
