DMD was thinking in similar way. I do believe that semi official patches will be banned as well. And Patreon will start to ban games after couple of reports.

I haven't pledged nor played in a long time but I have always considered your work to be amazing. (Story I have my own qualms with.) But I would say that it is time you look for an alternative to patreon. They are going full Nazi right now and my own patreon which had nothing to do with incest was reviewed. I closed it because I wasn't doing anything with it but even the mention of erotic games is triggering full blown raids of this stuff.

Apparently, Patreon is againts BB. I can try to play shady with them, but I'm unsure in this.
..I have been a Patreon since 0.1 or 0.2(not always the same amount) and would happily continu to do so because it's worth it.
But playing shady with patreon would not be smart in the long run, i agree 100%.
However, for a temporary solution you could clean up you patreon page with only content for Glamour and not releasing BB yourself but through another Person at Discord or a website...
You would have nothing to do with it (officially), and you patreon page would be "clean" ..
And your fans would know(well those with common sense)that BB is not dead.
In the meantime you can find/make a alternative solution for releasing and promoting your games and getting payment and leave Patreon..(Ask help from the other "big" devs on patreon and put you hands together)
Because we all know that this witch hunt of Patreon is not going to stay with this, as soon as they clean up all the incest related topics they will find another topic to clean up untill they cleaned up their entire platform.
Now it's BB, in a couple months it's going to be Glamour
...But of course it's your choice, and your choice only.
But i hope that you don't abandon the fans that supported you from the beginning and all of those that joined in the meantime...
I think that most of us will even accept if you say that Big Brother is going on a break for a couple months untill you can figure it all out..(you will lose some money of course, but a large % will stay loyal).
If you abandon it, well...... It makes sense that people will abandon you to ...
I would make a own Platform if a had the knowledge to do that.
Only thing i can offer is financial help for those who want to create it.

well, we can only wait and see, I just think that it would be quite absurd for patreon to ban the patched games, since they can't prove that it was made by the devs, so they wouldn't have any control over it, it's the nature of a PC game, it can be modded to be anything, by anyone
I wouldn't be surprised if they ban games that hide incest behind some code, like the GTA San Andreas hot coffee controversy, but by restoring it through patches that have to be installed on the game folder it should be safe. They can't blame EA games for the mods on The Sims 2, for example
DMD had no such patch, he chose another path

Adult games deserved a platform like Patreon, with no blocks in searches, with filters like MF, FMF, FF, Incest, Unity, japanese... and so on.
As the creator of the BlackWolfMod let me tell you. Fucking around with a second set of code is not fun. I'm sure in unity that's a much larger pain in the ass than ren'py but right now is a fucking mess. You basically have to write two of every line of dialogue. One of incest and one of non-incest. That means twice the code for scenes that make no sense out side of incest context.
So I guess the only thing that devs can do is start to release separate entire versions under new names completely. If you stay on patreon and they can see that shit just by going into your discord you are definitely going to be banned.
The problem with releasing through f95zone is that if this becomes too popular of a site then patreon will definitely have people look into it and wham! ban hammer comes down anyway.
Maybe some kind hearted...who the fuck am I kidding... Some crazy bastard will set up a patreon like site just for adult stuff and then they will get even more money than patreon themselves. We all know how much money people throw at cams and stuff. If they set up a site that allows them to do it as easily as patreon does I don't see why creators wouldnt use it.

As I said, Patreon can't prove links of the dev with outside websites unless he says so, all you have to do is to not link the site where you will include the patch on patreon, it would be beyond stupid to do it
I don't know if patreon can go after a dev for something that he says on discord, maybe if there is a link of his discord on his patreon, but I'm not sure. The fact is that whoever play those games hardly don't participate of some kind of community that talks about them because there are always doubts and etc, a creator could release the official version on patreon with no trace of incest, "someone" post a patch on lewd patcher, and never mention the patch on patreon page or discord. People will find it somehow
Even more with a hugely popular game like BB

Patreon don't care about who modified the game. They will block you first and you will have to prove your innocent afterwards.

Buckle up people this shit is just gonna get worse as patreon is hiring more human moderators to "clean up" and report "inappropriate" content more easily. I think it's time to move on from patreon's tyrannical rule and find a better alternative if there is no better alternative make one.

What about this idea: Create a new page, don't put anything on it or put some random renders and redirect people there. Then release the game on their emails. Unfortunately, Ds page is too hot and they will be monitoring everything he does from now on.

I think DS will make a better game with Glamour. There are limitations on his ability as a storyteller, but a lot of problems with BB were just that he wasn't into the incest thing, and kept trying to turn it into what he did like. I suspect he'll be able to put more personal passion into Glamour. The downside is that most of the people that support him do so for the incest angle. Glamour could be the best game in the world, but the kinks just don't interest me.

But what they did was make a show of going after lesser "offenders" first and then letting them stay. Maybe they hoped others would change on their own, or see the writing on the wall and leave on their own. I found this change of attitude of the Patreon administration to be very bad, because it is a precedent for them to make new changes. Rape is a crime, but incest? Zoofilia looks much worse, Fur games can go start to look elsewhere too?

I don't know if it's been mentioned, but Sunsetriders7 is bypassing Patreon through Discord with a link to the download. Something like that. I've had to stop all my pledges due to holidays and money so I've been out of the loop for a bit, but I'm pretty sure that's what he's doing.

Sure we can blame Patreon, if they didn't like it to begin with they should never have allowed it to start. Now they have a bug up their ass and wanna play all moral mighty and drop the ban hammer down. They're the ones who deserve to fail, and fail they probably will.
