I really don't understand why patreon is cracking down on incest in these games. Is it even illegal? I know incest between real people is illegal in most places. But there are a lot of examples of incest between imaginary people in other forms of media like books, movies, and tv shows. Patreon even used Game of Thrones as an example of what they think is acceptable incest. So why would imaginary incest be legal in other forms of media, but in a game it is illegal.

why? ... the explanation is simple, Game of Thrones is a brand that of a manufacturer, which has relevance in the media, which brings audiences in the major television and on the web. It belongs to manufacturers that produce money from many parts and that if sponsored bring profits. DS and the other creators are private individuals who do not have the same power and economic relevance behind them and therefore can be sacrificed in the name of morality.

IMO Patroen dropped a massive bollock using GoT as an example of what is acceptable because, although the TV series was softened down, the books don't flinch in any aspect of sex or violence. It just highlights it's about the money.

Bullshit. Comparing a massive work of fiction as ASoIaF to a porn game is beyond laughable. The incest, the violence, the death in Martin's work is just a tool in painting a much bigger picture. No one reads 700 pages long book, because somewhere in there is a page long scene where Jaime bones his sister. Don't be ridiculous.

when i download this and try to play it the screen isnt centerted i only see the a corner of it in the bottom right of my screen
Patreon is a platform. Other companies are involved too in the handling of money etc + 90% (if not 99%) of their revenue is not from adult games. There are tons and tons of other non-adult-games project on Patreon from art to children literature. By not cleaning up and enforcing stricter rules they may be at risk of alienating a much bigger audience than us and drive away their business partners.
Frankly, it wouldn't be inconceivable if Patreon said within the year "no adult content, including partial full frontal nudity" etc. I don't think they do those rules to be jerks. They do them because their business partners (including bigger names than our game developers) want them.
What they did because they were jerks were the 0.4$ per pledge crap. THAT was probably a decision by them to get more money.

Today is January 27, one year anniversary of Big Brother on Patreon. We had very productive year, our game has earned a lot of followers and we had a lot of plans for it in the future. But, unfortunately, Patreon has decided it doesn't want incest content on their website anymore. First we couldn't mention it in the description, then we couldn't have any adult content on our page for non-subscribers and now our game is banned altogether. And we can't cut out incest out of the game to unlock our page either, so here's what's going to happen in the near future:
1. We're still going to finish 0.13. We won't get any money for it and it's going to be free (you'll find it on the torrent sites, there will be links on discord and telegram, etc.). 0.13 is going to be released on time because a lot of players are waiting for it.
2. Big Brother is going to be frozen and 0.13 is going to be considered a final version of the game for now. We may continue BB development if we find an alternative to Patreon.
3. Our Patreon page is going to be completely reworked and restarted without Big Brother.
4. Our team is going to start working on our new project Glamour full time. You'll know more about it on our new updated Patreon page.
5. We're going to continue giving you regular updates. New screenshots, gameplay mechanics description, interface, etc. We love making adult games and we're going to continue making them, regardless of the temporary setbacks. Stay tuned!

And another one that bows down to Patreon wishes instead of using something alternative.
I have no interest in Glamour at all, so this will be my last month where i will be a pledge(untill he restarts BB because he lost the majority of his income).
I hope that this is just part of his plan to use Patreon for a little while for Glamour but meanwhile working on a alternative solution.
Because if it's not that.... Well.... It's just plain stupid.
The same shit is going to happen in a couple months with Glamour when Patreon adds new things to their No-No list..
Looks like everybody knows that this is going to happen, everybody except for all the devs... It's mind-boggling.
They continu to put all there effort into complying with Patreon's wishes instead of leaving Patreon behind, i understand that the income through Patreon is amazing but there are so many other alternatives that it's (again) mind-boggling that they put their faith in Patreon.... Amazing..
But then again... It's the motto of 99.99% worlds population at this point.
Rather wait for something better to come up instead of working on that something better yourself.
But i want to finish on a positive note this time.
Thanks DS for the year of amazing updates and amazing game, of course it has it's problems(like any other game)but for me this stays one of the better games on the internet.
