I'll leave the other stuff, but I had to respond to this. I adore Japanese writers. Snow Country is one of my favorite novels of all time. Temple of the Golden Pavilion by Yukio Mishima is also one of the all time greats. I have a wall covered in manga, and have been a fan of Japanese shit for pretty much as far back as I remember. As NOVELS, most VNs just aren't very well written, though I think that anything by Urobochi Gen is a step above the usual. The STORY can be great, the Characters can too, and even so the writing itself can have problems. VNs for some reason just tend to be bloated, especially in exposition.

Not a thread for that so I will just say that I disagree even tho you might be right about some specific titles. But that's all our subjective opinions. Btw. didn't read these novels - I will check them if you say they're worth it.

So, not sure if this is answered elsewhere or if anyone else has had this. I'm on Olivia GF route, just had the event, Max eats out Lisa while Olivia blows him, and the walkthrough says to wait 2 days, talk to Lisa "About Olivia", wait a day and do it again, wait another day and do another "Olivia" dialogue with a persuade option involved. When I speak to her, no matter how many times or days in between, she always does the first Olivia dialogue as if It's now stuck on that stage of the route and won't advance, I don't know how I'm meant to get it going again.

Well, Snow Country won the nobel prize for literature. Well, technically it's author Yasunori Kawabata won the prize, but the book was one of three cited. It has some amazing imagery, and I just adore it.

No matter how much my writing improves, I will never, ever be that good.

More than that especially in games since this is a gaming forum. Mobile is number 1 in gaming now and PC couldn't stop it no matter what. It just shit change and trends. You know whats popular always sell the most. Not everything pay off in the long run.

Remake your Patreon page from BB to Glamuros for saving your fans. Send this news for everyone of them, like you do when this problem starts, and keep making a money (I am sure that fans are not going anywhere). After that BB will go deep-deep-deep undercover, but secretly will be released every month. I dont want an "abandoned" status for this game.

It really depends on many factors. I can't make a promise that BB updates will happens in next <put your term here>.
But they can.

It's too much with the doom & gloom. There's always the chance DS will find a way to go back to it. The game won't be frozen because the developers lost their apetite for it or got bogged with other jobs in their life. I am pretty sure the developers are even more pissed than we are about the plug being pulled.
Not only it is a good portion of their income it's also what they have been working on for a year+ and I believe it's something they are all proud of.

Take a hint from Glamour from example: DS re-launches his previous game.
I haven't played that game to know how good or bad it was nor why DS couldn't just continue with it but had to relaunch it.
But evidently, he's a developer that doesn't let frozen work die.

And since BB is one of the best games (there are like 15 games in the popular games) with thousands of patrons, I'm pretty sure even without playing the previous Glamour that BB is much better than it. So yes, I have reasons to believe DS will eventually (like in a year, sorry buddies) continue with BB.
