I am going to throw this thought out here since I think it may have been missed by most if not all of us.
DS wants BB to die so they can work on something else.
He's already stated that he doesn't really "get" the whole incest angle.
But he felt obligated to do it since he made so much money off it .
So this would have been the way out for him as Patreon cracks down.

The v0.13 update WILL be released as a gift from DS to thank ALL the fans and supporters. The update was nearly finished (needed bug check and a little work according to DS) before Patreon slammed them. So yes we get the next update, yes the game will be put on hold after that.

Its coming from Paypal, paypal does not like nudity at all and is cracking down on patreon to get rid of nudity period.

it's not incest with your cousin from a legal basis. You can still marry your cousin if you wanted to. The Royal Families of Europe have been doing it for centuries. The lovely guests has incest content but could be easily changed. If it has been reported. The Deal patreon brought in new rules on their site (which they are more than entitled to do whether we like it or not) and are now enforcing them.

Paypal has agreement with huge sites like Patreon or Brazzers as they have credibility worth milions. Normal porn sites are forbidden so they can ban you and freeze your funds. Patreon is just aiming for mainstream activities. Youtubers make much more money than our small, bad looking porn niche. Patreon is acting quite logically trying to remove such content. Business is business
I think incest games and other forbidden fetishes will always find a way to be published one way or another. This whole situation reminds of prohibition in 20's, only the smart ones found a way and made a fortune in that period. So the same will be with incest games. Of course, until a replacement for patreon is found.

He's been told it's not moddable, and I don't really see a reason not to believe it. The game is pretty heavily incest centered, and even if you call them roommates, it still has a family vibe to it. Plus there is the blackmail stuff you mentioned. That's probably a contributing factor, and perhaps a major one. DS also mentioned Patreon had some lesser concerns with the appearance of some of the characters.
I wouldn't be surprised if wanting to switch to Glamour has some effect on how DS proceeds from here. But let's be real here. We knew BB was going to get reviewed at some point. We also know that it's not likely to stop here. Games that went to great lengths to mod themselves recently may be told they're still not welcome when the next wave of account reviews come. Chances are that DS can still make more money here with Glamour than they could someplace else with BB. If Glamour doesn't work, then they still haven't burned any bridges behind them with Patreon, and can try another game here. It would be just plain foolish to risk a complete ban from Patreon by trying to game the system here.

Precisly what happend during the 20's and the booze buisness will happen with the adult porn game market as well. 3-6 years from now alternate sites will have open deals with creators to do what they want. Then the industri itself grows and the numbers of revenue increase. Guess what PayPal will do then? They will come crawling to the cross and say - oh we know in the past we didn't wanna do buisness with you but we had a change of heart. How about we handle transactions and turn a blid eye to whatever you do and it's a win win? - Not sure everyone will go for it but this is a short period in history and the future will laugh at it like trying to make booze illegal in the 20's.
