But again DS did almost nothing to prepare for it. DMD was dumb for not changing the title and then explaining how to restore the banned content on patreon. Thats not very subtle at all.

Without anymore incest theme story it will be not success like BB and DS will lose patreons for this mistake, the new "best idea it will be a worse one" only because he decide to drop a good project and dissapoint patreons.

There are plenty of alternatives to Patreon! I don't know why you keep insisting that there isn't. And setting up his own site could take less than a day to do using CCBill as payment processor. Rent Webspace, Throw Wordpress and a Forum software on it and set up CCBill to make subscription access. Hell if he needs a consultant about how to do this he can easily go to his nearest stripclub and ask any of the dancers how to set up a fast and easy porn site!

As for getting around Patreon's rules...I know of two games (both incest based) that had their page taken down for review and then made a few changes to have them restored.
MotH (a Unity Game as well!) has simply changed the relationships of the characters to be landlord and roomates in the game and you can restore their Family ties by downloading and placing a Mappings.xml file (found here on THIS F95 site.) and placing it in the Root folder of the game.

As it stands Patreon issue aside, DS himself has to decide if he really wants to keep developing this game to completion.
I'm sure he had a lot more story planned to keep the money flowing until his next game is ready for a release. And without that Patreon Money to pay the bills may not be able to dedicate the time needed to keep up with the Monthly release schedule. And unless he is willing to do what MotH did (which will also lose some subs due to the fact he can't tell them to come here to get the Incest Patch on Patreon) he is going to lose that Patreon money anyway.

I think he is far enough along and made a nice bundle of money that he should just finish the game and story to make it a completed work. Maybe that takes 3 or 4 months to complete the dangling plot lines and character arcs but once he has sewed it all up he should just find a site (or make his own) that will let him sell the game as completed work for $40. If he wants he could build a Patching system and update the game when the mood to add content strikes him and make that Patch a Subscription service just as all the Online games do when they add content.

So it comes down to...

1. Does he want to do the work needed to make the story Patreon safe but easily can be modded back to the Original Incest
2. Put in the effort to make his own site with CCBill.
3. Complete the game, call it a business success and sell it as a completed work.
4. Abandon it and move on to Glamour and hope it sells as well as this one did.

1-3 may seem like a lot of work but then again keeping that Money flowing should be worth the effort.
If it isn't then what we will get is #4.

He can't mod BB. Patreon strictly forbidden anything related to BB on their site. He could remove whole content and leave just title and it wouldn't be allowed as well. They want to remove BB. Paypal has alternatives but paypal has no working alternative. You really believe huge number of people will even find his site not to say use CCBill? Paypal is as strong as Google and people won't use different sites connected to their bank accounts without a great reason. And porn isn't one for most. He could try such a thing ofc but if it doesn't work he'll work everything. In case of Glamour which was being made for quite some time he can easily expect to remain on a market. Even if he will lose half of his patrons he will still be bigger than most devs.

DS has already said that the new Glamour game is set in the same city/universe as BB (with a no incest change). So YES the characters from BB will appear (at some point). And from hints MC of Glamour will have College classes with Lisa so will be maybe a year or 2 in BBs future.

1. Patreon flat-out told him they wanted his game gone. Modding it wouldn't work.
2. DS's belief is that trying to host BB anywhere while still trying to have a Patreon for Glamour will likely lead to him being banned from Patreon. I suspect he's right.
3. What's he going to sell the game for? The quirk of the patreon system is that people will pay far more to support a game than buy it outright. While people will pay $40/month or more in some cases for the promise of more incest content, those same people may balk at $30 for a stand-alone game.
4. DS always wanted to move on to Glamour in the first place. It's the safer alternative. Will it make as much money? Probably not. But I don't think BB being moved to another site will make as much money as it once did, either.

Maybe that has more to do with the scummy blackmail approach than anything to do with Incest.
And since none of us but DS have seen these conversations he has had with them it is very possible he is simply misreading what they are saying to him...I can't say.

I've seen a message he has received from Patreon. He can't mod it nor do anything with it. In case of DMD Dots has to even send idea for his new game to his reviewer to gain their approval so renaming won't give much I suppose. DMD was also modded and there is really well justified worry about all games with such a theme that were already suspended. Life is about money so devs will try to adjust themselves

DS wants BB to die so they can work on something else.

He's already stated that he doesn't really "get" the whole incest angle.

But he felt obligated to do it since he made so much money off it .

So this would have been the way out for him as Patreon cracks down.

The v0.13 update WILL be released as a gift from DS to thank ALL the fans and supporters. The update was nearly finished (needed bug check and a little work according to DS) before Patreon slammed them. So yes we get the next update, yes the game will be put on hold after that.

it's not incest with your cousin from a legal basis. You can still marry your cousin if you wanted to. The Royal Families of Europe have been doing it for centuries. The lovely guests has incest content but could be easily changed. If it has been reported. The Deal patreon brought in new rules on their site (which they are more than entitled to do whether we like it or not) and are now enforcing them.
