The problem with making the game more linear is that he's going to merge disparate sections of the game. Is the Lisa in the Olivia path the same as GF Lisa in personality or history? I'm assuming not, but somehow they're going to be now. Based on past updates, I see people liking either path not being happy with the final result as something particular to that path is lost or changed. The game is also going in directions that just don't interest me, with Alice being Dom and Lisa being blackmailed into camming. I'm sure there are people who love that, but there's many others that would love the chance to go a different route, or to go different routes on any number of things that happened in the past.

There is nothing disparate about a merged path since you should never have seen the original story from the other path in the first place.

Merging Olivia will fit nicely with Lisa GF...All he has to do is have something happen with Lisa and Olivia at night that starts the events of the training. Then every scene with Lisa makes sense to those on the Olivia and totally consistent with the story those who took the Lisa Path have experienced.
Only difference (or as you would say consequence) is how you get to that training....

Perhaps but from a believability standpoint the Oliva merged path would be the most natural...
Most Brother Sister Incest happens as a result of curiosity not physical or sexual attraction.
They both are curious about Sex and use each other as a safe testing ground to experiment.

I know you prefer the romantic angle with Lisa and I can't find fault with wanting that since this game is just so lacking in any romantic feelings...So for your preference the Yoga is probably more appealing...

It may be too complicated to take the Olivia folks all the way back to Yoga...
And the truth is there is no reason why the Yoga path can't easily merge with the Olivia path since Lisa has already established that she wants both of them to have sex with other people and that she may be interested in watching Max with someone else like she did with Max and Alice.

If he does it right then the merge will allow all paths to get to the endgame where you get to have sex with Lisa and perhaps get romantic as well (I wouldn't hold my breath on the last part happening knowing DS though...LOL)

I care for the characters, and perhaps too much. Enough at least where I don't want to see things with Alice and Lisa continue down their paths any more. At least knowing that's the only option for them. I want more for them and Ann then just becoming porn stars. But it appears that that is their only future. I guess it has been from the beginning, when the first cameras were set up. It's different though once you get to know the characters better, and when they know they're on camera.

You're right. I would love a option to choose the path for the girls. Perhaps in the 2019 we get what we want.
When this "route" finish maybe DS will put another path.
When you:
A) become corrupted and use your family to make money
B) Get the option of choosing only one girl
C) Progress in the story without the movie, following another route.
Dreaming is free and i would love to have more option.
But we got to admit, writting this story and make it "realistic" can't be easy.

As for adding more paths he can't even keep up with the ones he has now....
If he can't handle the concept of merging one path then how in the hell is he going to handle juggling 10?

Fair enough. We may have been misunderstanding each other's position until now, or at least me misunderstanding yours. To be fair though, I think keeping paths separate is easier than merging them. When DS had to alter the game when Ann lost her job, it resulted in losing things like Alice smoking, or tanning, and I think other things. I suspect merging Olivia and Lisa paths together will also have it's issues. Is she suddenly going to appear in my GF Lisa path, as if she was always there? That would bug me. At the same time, if she shows up for the first time during the next update, then she's just another new character Max shouldn't worry about with his focus being on Ann and Lisa. I suspect Olivia is just going to be swapped in for Vicky's role when Lisa wanted to watch Max have sex with a girl. And to me she's going to be as annoying as Vicky. I hope I can avoid her just as easily.

DS's big problem is that the paths that are still out there are ones that people aren't all that interested in. Very few people want the Eric friendship path. Apparently a fair number want Olivia, but not enough to warrant DS actually working on it at all recently. People made their choices, to get rid of Eric, or to pick Lisa as GF over Olivia. Now we get no choice at all. The future is a family porn empire, and always will be, because all choice and ability to control your fate is being stripped from the game.

Well his big problem is he hasn't finished even one of those paths yet either....Eric Path was completed...Eric Friend has a completion you just have to start hating him as you should of in the first place.

As for Lisa merging Olivia...How hard is it to have her tell max that her friend from school is coming over and starting at the pool scenes?
Olivia to Lisa requires a few NEW scenes but only in addition to the scenes that already exist in the sleeping pill events.

a Game with multiple paths that never meet are all just separate games and like developing 5 games at once. He has enough trouble with the few paths he has to bring new content, adding more will just make walkthroughs, Helping others and making enough content per release to avoid complaints impossible.

Time for him to merge or finish the paths he has and then if he wants to make another branch make it ONE branch that he can give equal development time to per release, make it last only two or three versions and then wrap them up.
In a way each character is their own branch and he doesn't seem able to update all those let alone adding more.

Whatever path the dev takes in his journey of weather he merges paths matters little to me, i know im just waiting for some completion to lisa's path and aslong as i get to have her end of the story, the updates seem promising but im pretty disappointed with what we have with her so far.

Honestly, the guy needs to get a decent storyteller/writer on board and just focus on the art because the art is amazing, but the story is so terribly lacking.
