We didn't convince him at all...We asked him, but nothing we said has changed his mind regarding his belief that Incest does not go together with consent, romance or could ever happen without it being about desperation, blackmail or force.
Convincing him otherwise would be like trying to convince a Catholic that God really doesn't exist.
What is funny is the fact that all the renders seem to show the proper expressions needed but the dialogue doesn't fit the images. So perhaps something as simple as a Dialogue Mod could improve this game.
I think he could easily re-write the dialogue to make this game less scumbaggy and more in line with what makes Incest hot.
In fact I truly think DS personally is more into the control and BDSM genre and the only reason Incest was introduced was for the marketing.

We can add the whole Big Brother thing into marketing too.Since 0.2 there is nothing new there.And BTW I wont be surprise if DS decide to make an update for the cameras-pretty useless now so further in the game.But is not like he didn't make some useless stuff in last 3-4 episodes.

We should also understand DS way of thoughts. Even if we play a porn game, in reality, could there be romantic in incest between mother/father/daughter/son? Really? I'm honestly glad nothing more was done with the cameras. I first saw the patreon page for the game, and was struck by the renders. But the advertised voyeurism aspects of the game kept me from playing it for a while. Spying on people isn't what I find sexy, and watching through a hidden camera is even less so. It's just further removing you from the possibility of actual sex. Had that ever been implemented in the game, we'd be even further behind in sexual progress than we are now. I've also seen cases where voyeurism and other kinks replace actual sex entirely. I played one text-based game about some guy sneaking around a house collecting panties from the girls there. I foolishly assumed that was a prelude to sex with them. Instead, the entire game appeared to be getting the panties, then masturbating while fantasizing about having sex with them. Instead of, you know, actually having sex with them in the reality of the game. I guess that was what I was afraid Big Brother was going to be: all voyeurism and no sex. And to a large extent, it has been focused on watching more than doing, especially in the Eric time. You spied on Eric having sex, or family members naked, but there was not much actual sexual progress. When we do get to do stuff, it's still very passive. Max is along for the ride rather than driving.
The entire camera thing as implemented puts a damper on the game for me as well. They're being used to secretly film his family and make money by letting strangers watch, which establishes Max as an asshole early on. I'd much rather the cameras never have been in there at all. Like Eric and a lot of other things, in my opinion it was a poor creative choice made by DS that deserves to be abandoned. Take this all with a grain of salt though, because I'm sure to fans of voyeurism or fans of what Eric represented, all of that was very sexy to them.

Actually there is a link to the 10.0 version for mac and it runs well (it was linked to in a post comment earlier in this thread, so you need to search for it). Dark Silver did say a couple days ago that a new Mac version was coming soon, like within the next few days hopefully.

Please dont forget this is not an virtual novel, this is a porn game where MC is supposed to change rooms an fuck everyone arround. A good plot is very nice and entertaining, but this is not DMD. This is supposed to be a porn game about a porn family, i guess! So still after fucking ann in every hole, there are a lot of things that can be included and even if there will be twists in the plot, the porn-show will continue if DS earns money with it. Thats what i hope!

It's a porn game, but by delaying actual sex with Ann and Lisa, DS himself is putting a lot on emphasis on the importance of those acts. Whether he intends to or not, he's setting them up to be the logical end of the story. There's an awful lot of tension being built up for the moments actual vaginal sex happens with Lisa or Ann, and once that tension is released, it's just going to feel natural to people that that was the end of the story. Maybe it isn't intended to be. I'm pretty sure it won't be. But there's so much frustration being attached to not being able to have sex with those two yet. It's being used to keep people to stay around, versus actually have good writing where we've already done something with them. The way things are, that hopefully glorious moment when Max penetrates Lisa for all of four or five renders or so is going the defining moment of the game to many. Having sex with a family member a second time isn't nearly as good as that first. DS would have to get creative to make it interesting after that. Yes, I just said "DS would have to get creative", so you can see how screwed that idea is.
Personally, I know I'm likely to lose even more interest once the sex with them actually happens, unless it's handled very well, and there's other stuff going on to keep me distracted. Maybe Lisa goes first. Then I'm hanging around for Ann until I can have sex with her. Maybe during that Time Lisa gets pregnant, making an interesting and kinky storyline that makes us miss sex with Ann less. Or another family member shows up. Kira's daughter, or Max's half-sisters from his father's side they didn't know about. Whoever. But this game needs more incest.
