Actualy he have like 4-5 other people and most of their time is on the new game.

DS is not alone. He has some team. There was a post with his plans for this year I think and he's shifting his attention toward Glamour in a serious manner like in a half of the year. I might be wrong but I think end of the year updates won't be for BB. I just pray his new game will stay his for entire development time and it will have enough sandboxish-non-strictly erotic vibe in it (like early BB had)
I think he said that after the first half year in 2018 his attention is going to shift more to Glamour, BUT that they are still going to work on BB in the months after that, so smaller updates at that time..
I think that the MAIN paths will be pretty much finished in the summer, when he shifts his focus on Glamour(publicly) and in the months after that he will add small things so that the smaller paths will be finished to with some minor content for the lead cast.... That would make the most sense in my mind.
Of course i could be wrong and he could say in 3 months...Screw it.... It's over..
At that point if it's not done then i guess it's time to pick up my modding tools and continu

Depends how its done, if they both receive equal attention from the dev, and the quality remains high then no problem. The thing is thou that seldom happens. The dev splits their attention, quality drops off, either on one game markedly, or on both games generally. When it comes to game development, most ppl would prefer a dev focuses on one game and does it right, rather than half assing two games. There are exceptions to this ofc, but usually they're just that, exceptions.

Putting Olivia in was a major flopp. (He did promiss a merge) He actually just created a new character and story then used the old name and model from Olivia. No effort went into that. It's probably the most stupid misstake iv'e seen a developer do in a long time. He pissed off everyone who was (is) on the old Olivia path and i'm guessing paterons as well. Yet a single comment has be uttered from DS about this.

I believe you are incorrect and he did actually state that he was not intrested in incest. Don't remember the exact wording. It was around the time he added Eric. His bondage fetishism was just starting to be seen in game

I was talking there about Icstor, a different dev than Dark Silver, to establish that incest is its own genre of porn and not just a subset of the 'romance' genre. You are right that DS has said incest doesn't do much for him.

Might be. Can't find this post so maybe I just imagined he said so. Most logical option in my opinion would be normal updates untill huge, polished version of Glamour is finished. Then Glamour and some minor updates for BB every 2-3 month. For me this game is already finished since 0.5 so I have high hopes in Glamour. The point I'm making and you guys seem intent on ignoring is there isn't a single fuck scene in this game that doesn't involve some BDSM trope or mechanism!
Wanna fuck Kira it starts with tying her to a bed.
Wanna fuck Alice, it happens as part of Blackmail and spanking. The BLOG fuck is the only one where BDSM isn't a factor.
Olivia is the only woman in this game that you can fuck without spanking or tying her up. And he abandoned that and left it a dead end. It wouldn't surprise me to have her Mother tie her up to watch her fuck Max in the next few updates.
Most of what makes it popular (IMO) is the combination of the rendering which uses more HUMAN and realistic models as opposed to the over sexualized (Cartoonish, Big Ass, Big Boobs) you see in most other games. And the fact that he uses Unity Engine which is much better than the others. He has rarely had a game killing bug show up on release day. So it just works. That is a big factor in keeping customers. Hit them with too many game killing bugs and they will get tired of having to start over. Eventually the game is thought of as unstable (see a game like My New Life for example) that even if it had great story and gameplay people abandon it simply because they are tired of the crashing.
This game showed promise early but it has since lost its way. The story is vague, it is more of a BDSM genre story than an incest genre, and even after a year of development and releases you still have yet to fuck the main characters that have been introduced from the beginning.
He has created new characters only to drop them or dead end their progress in the very next release and his story is so vague all along that before where people could imagine their own ideas of what the game was about, and his inconsistencies with previous plot that followed has ruined that for most.
I wouldn't be surprised if many of the patreons he still has, forgot they are paying him once a month.

We know that high hopes and DS can't go hand to hand sadly.I expect he go full BDSM mode in Glamour 2.0,still can be fun if don't go into extremes.BTW there is a chance that Sin will make a sandbox game.And we already have some that can pass that criteria-Glassix.

No no no, you can't talk about EA and Blizzard here. You cannot compare products from large companies and indie developers who often develop the game alone while having a work and a family, nor the multimillionare budget of large companies.
You have to compare indie games with indie games, so the budget of BB must be compared to the budget of another indie project, even regardless of kind of game and content, but with same-size developing teams and/or publishers.
If you compare our products with AAA ones we're simply out of the game.

This is not about me, just so we are clear. I have every rotue done and complete.
But what if the same was true for the Lisa path and this pappend to you? Imagine no v11-12 content beeing playable because you are on a path the game does not support anymore and its become a dead end. No warning from the Developer or ingame text mentions this. Option now is quit or start over because that choice was made in week 2.
I'm sorry but thats just so bad it's even hard to find words to descibe. And what does DS say about it?

DS may work on the real Olivia path down the road and all we can do is hope.
If he does he will have to combine it with the Mentor quest for Lisa so we can go on in the other Lisa only quest lines.

Oh first versions of BB weren't so bad and filled with BDSM. I think it's his way to introduce incest somehow so in my opinion it won't dominate. Moreover if it's sandbox it has to have a lot of different paths. Honestly I think it would be wise for him to release 0.1 of it after he'll make it almost as big as BB when it comes to renders due to those routes. Forgot about Glassix. You're right but it has some really huge problem. It feels really mechanical and for me it's more of a test-project for future developers. Dunno about Sin as DoD is just a VN so his experience isn't so great. Moreover he's kinda rapey and theme focused while sandbox can't follow particular theme to feel open. But I didn't hear about it before and it's great he will try. Will check it for sure

I think with support he have Gaweb did awesome job in Glassix.Shame that he and Ptolemy par example don't get more money.And we better don't have way too high hopes for Glamour.

Sure, Glassix is pretty good. It's a design's flow that characters are bounded by mechanic but all in all it's really really good game with original theme and gameplay. But for me it's more like an attempt rather than real sandbox. But it's still praiseworthy. As for Glamour some hype and hopes are fine. If it'll deliver it's great for us. If it will fail to deliver its thread will be so damn amusing
This entire game is about rape, right from the start. Blackmailing Alice to show her tits, Kira, Mom, even Lisa. If you don't like the game, please find another game you do like, instead of spamming this thread over.
Just finished with all the new content in 0.12. Honestly I was expecting of a little more content for the grind but beggars can't be choosers . Now, the long wait for 0.13 begins...
