However.... I supported DS for a year because of BB... Not for glamour or the new Glamour now.
Will it be a good game, probably yes... But i am not paying for that (yet), i am paying for the game BB.
Should a keep paying DS now he froze the game?... If a have a 100% guarantee that BB will continu later this year then i will keep paying him.
But i am not paying someone just for dreams and hopes that he promises, and to be completely honest... How he handled this matter with patreon did not filled me with trust if he promises something.
I really don't know if he continu's BB later this year.
On 1 hand i think that when he starts Glamour that he will lose all his motivation to go back to BB (and thats logical).
But one the other hand, i do believe that he is going to lose quite a bit of money without BB... And nothing motivates people more then money these days....
But i am not paying someone for nothing.
I am paying someone for a product/service, if that product/service is gone it only makes sense that my money goes away with it.
Like i am paying 5 bucks to Crunchyroll every month just for DBS, but when that ends in March my payments will go away with it....

How do you plan on making the donation? That is the big question.
Approximately 50% of the patreons use PayPal for their pledges, which means leaving this out is a hefty ditch on the possible donation you can receive.
Pay Pal goes with american law and everything against this, even fiction, will be a no-go for the company.
So the moment you include PayPal on your Site etc. it will only be a matter of time until the same things happen again (ie vdategames once had PayPal support (if i remember correctly that is)).

As a patreon I wouldn't mind this plan at all even if I'm really not interested in Glamour. This game/VN/whatever is like a soap now, It's not even about the incest (which I couldn't care less), I care about the characters & would want to see them fully develop - Full Harem, more Kira, more Ann, more everything, this could go on at least another year. If DS stops BB completely I will look elsewhere for release... but I'm sure it won't be in glamour.

The main reason DS started doing so well was the success of BB and its ability to attract supporters willing to become his patrons on Parteon. That money kept him going and expanding his development team.
Ending or "freezing" BB will have enormous impact on his revenue so, in a very short time, he will have to face the inevitable - find a new business model to be able to continue with the BB that will guarantee him steady monthly income or stay on Parteon with Glamour, lose 99% of his patrons and fall into oblivion and probably be forced to go look for a modest paying development job in some company to be able to pay his bills.
All hype and nice self promotion effects created with growing BB support will fade in a few months without BB updates and he will slowly fall into oblivion.
Sadly, thats how the world works.
"Freezing" BB for a few months will probably produce a very negative effect even if he succeeds to get some minor traction with his new, by Parteon strict rules, "vanilla" Glamour.
I have no doubt DS is smart enough to take all I said here into account and think twice before deciding how to proceed.

He can easily plug the characters from BB into Glamour, but because some of you will scream NTR NTR NTR if any of the characters go off and fuck someone else that probably won't happen.
That being said if his site isn't back up before the 30th I will remove my pledge. If Glamour looks promising but has little content and is pretty much back to square one I'll probably stay pledged but I'll be lowering it.

I will adress 2 topics that comes up again and again since DarkSilver had the ban hammer used on him by Patreon.
1. Can he use an alternate site to keep using patreon as income while continue to make Big Brother?
2. What are his options currently.
1. - No he can't. It does not matter how well he tries to hide behinde passwords, diffrent sites and discord. He will be spoted and then Patreon will get an E-mail. So the only way this can end is Patreon closing his account and this time they won't ask nicley or review his page again. It's bye bye DarkSilver. To make my point really obvious i'll play the devils advocate for a sec..

If he tried to go Shady with patreon he will loose all future relationship with them. I personally woulden't be that stupid in his shoes.
2. - From the second he was under review there was only way this could end. DarkSilver was caught between a rock and a hard place. He had the choice of Pest or cholera. Choosing between the lesser of two evils or any way you wish to frame it. In direct terms this means he had to choose between (Pateron) OR (Big Brother).
Either way he chooses one will be left behide. Sure they released a new Blade Runner Movie last year so i guess you can keep a project on hold and still continue 40 years later. But in games like BB you will only be as hot as you latest release. It would make sense to stop any and all development on BB and just let it go. (For now) We don't know what the future holds and maby a new Pateron like site will emerge and allow this to continue. Waist of energy at this point to speculate.
DarkSilver will be doing Glamour from now on and you can either support this or not. It's up to you.
Blame it on patreon or whatever. Still won't change simple fact.. He has no other sensible choice as we speak.

But man, to never have any payoff with fucking Lisa after MONTHS of leadup is fucking awful. Maybe the DS needs to publish his wallet PayPal here,so that people can support the project.He writes what amount he needs at a time a month, so that he can post here an updated version of the BB.

All I know is that if Glamour is anywhere near as slow a burn as BB was, I don't see many people caring for at least several months. I think the advantage DS would have had having Glamour starting up as BB was winding down was that at least Patrons were getting some sex and shit each month, while the standard scene setting updates (Usually at least the first 3-4) which have very little sexual activity were taken care of. Without that... I don't know, honestly.
I do seriously feel bad for the team though. This has to suck.
