In the old version it was basically the poise of the character before they get knocked down for a sex scene in the new version it might be an infection progress bar, its been awhile since I played so I don't remember things about it to well.

The bar around the health is indeed the infection bar, it continues to fill but supposedly it is one full rotation for infection but honestly once your vision blurs fully and your stomachs the size of a bowling ball, you've basically been fully infected (your aim will be crap and cannot see crap).
Generally takes 5 minutes of being fucked by something or being jumped several times.

one particular possible use for the bar could be well, how much she's into the sex? same position but different variations of it? different placement of hands and what not? but dev probably already has a plan for that so we wait and see? spacescape did something like that, but the lust bar takes time to go down? wonder if it'd be good if the lust bar resets after it reaches max

The bar is just for the infection meter, for the moment all it does is make Jill's stomach bigger and blur vision. He also stated that it was complete.
Last I knew, there were three different regular zombie types. Regular, skinny, and large. They each have two different animations, though its sometimes a bit difficult to tell.

It's locked for patreons or you have to clear the game. There's Fantasy Cards in OP which give you codes you can put in to unlock some of the extra features.

As far as I know they give various perks to your gaming experience on here you can find a download that contains 2 commons and a rare and tbh the rare is probably the only one a person would need the "Fox" code allows customization of the player the other two are ammo+ or drop rate+. According to the reward page their are supposedly better codes but they seem more or so extras as I stated the fox code is the only thing you need as anything else seems like your buying the unlocked cheats in an re game.
Outfits are random so you well need fantasy Card Codes to change your look or you can start a new run which will randomize your look again.
Man, pretty disappointing you can't turn off the inflation and blood stains on the girl. I hope they let these be optional- does the inflation do anything other than indicate infection?

It slows your movement speed down if I remember right.
But that's just a mechanic of infection, right? A slow effect, poor aim and some visuals?
I'm just trying to determine if inflation could be removed without affecting game-play since it seems to just be a secondary visual indicator with the infection meter around the health pool.

Yeahhhh ... It's totally fair for them to work from the ground up and make slow but steady work (they even have a disclaimer on their Patreon about that). However, I also think it's completely fair for many of us to get impatient, especially when we're stuck at home and waiting for this game (and yeah, with RE2-3 out, that itch is even greater).

And the reason I'm writing this, and comparing this game to both MatM and ToN, is to explain that Versus X/Bioasshard may need to step back and look at the bigger picture. Sure, it's excellent to work on mechanics, bug fixes, and graphics. But the people want pron, and they don't like to wait. Totally understandable. It seems like Versus X is trying to be a much bigger company by working on multiple projects, focusing on non-sex related things, and taking their time. The problem with that is, as I've outlined above, they're not a team like NLT Media. They're not well known. They're not consistent in uploading nor expedient with updates. And therefore, when they try to do things that a big company has the wherewithal to do (e.g. multiple projects, non-sex things, taking their time), it's not going to last long; support, both financial and otherwise, will dry out quickly especially because patrons and investors should know how to spot scammers at this point.
It's great to have ambition, but we've got loads of abandonware and villified devs out there because of it. My personal opinion is that Versus X needs to focus on one project (which would go a long way), and stop spending time on stuff like graphics and animations because the longer they take, the less impressive that looks when compared to actual games. Would also be nice for some accountability with consistent updates, even if they're much longer in time intervals (e.g. 2 months, rather than 2 weeks). So the question is, do you wanna go down the MatM road, stuck in development hell, or be like NLT Media, which is well-trusted to bring the goods.
TL;DR: VersusX is biting off more than it can chew. People are impatient and horny. Give them what they want, and quickly.
Also, it really sounds like I'm comparing y'all to the Bioasshard zombies. That ... was not my intention.
