There was news yesterday. "Happy New Year 2025!..." and something else. Is this an update already or not yet?

By the way, is there any way to spawn enemies at will?
There was nothing about Bio in this one, but here ya go. There was a small video showing the main menus of these, but videos are embedded into the site so likely wouldn't function so I left it out.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hello everyone, happy new year,

Mr. Versus X over here. I don't know how long it's been since my last post; the truth is that this past year has been quite bad for me for different reasons that I'm not going to go into, but the good thing about hitting rock bottom is that you can't go any lower and plus you can push yourself to stay afloat again XD. Luckily, as I turned into a shapeless mass of uselessness, a small part of me decided that perhaps it was a better idea to keep working and create something new and that is why I am here today, to bring you this little New Year's present (for whoever is interested) in the form of 3 title screens belonging to 3 different projects. My advice is to watch the video first and then finish reading the text, but do it as you please.

Project 1: Omnia In Unum

The most veterans around here will already know this project. We have announced it several times, but it always ends in failure, so now after a long and intense tug of war with expectations placed on it, and willing to sacrifice many things, this project is back, yes, this will be its last chance.

Here is some information about the project:

-JRPG
-Parody of our favorite JRPGs
-2D with pre-rendered 3D graphics
-The sexy content is on top of any other aspect of this game

Key: 'I will find you no matter what it takes.'

Project 2: HARUKA The Lovely Exorcist

Here's a little surprise (such a surprise that not even Megiddo knew of the existence of this project XD) It is a super short project that I intend to have finished in 2025.

Here is some info:

-The game will only have 5 or 6 levels
-Haruka, the main character, will have to 'exorcise' spirits infesting a building
-2D anime style game (inspired by Akira Toriyama-sensei’s art)
-The gameplay is based on solving puzzles

Key: 'A-are you sure it's t-the best way~ to perform an exorcism?'

Project 3: Aria's Lament

And finally, my most special project. Why is it so special? Well, basically, because a lot of things have happened to me, which we could define as synchronicities, from before I started writing the story and until after finishing the design and I owe a lot of what this project is to them.

Here is some information about the project:

-JRPG
-2D anime style game
-Story-driven gameplay with a strong focus on characters
-A story of love and revenge

Key: 'To you, wherever you are, until your light stops illuminating my path.'

And that's all for today, these 3 new projects join Bioasshard in our catalog of active games, I hope at least one of these projects has catch your interest.

From now on I will be publishing more information, screenshots and progress of the 3 so, please, stay tuned.

Without anything else to add, on behalf of VERSUS X STUDIO I thank you for your unconditional support and your infinite patience, I wish you a happy and prosperous new year, may your best wishes come true in 2025.

Regards.

Over half a decade, almost 3/4ths of a decade. In the meantime, "The Killing Antidote" released in EA over a year ago, on steam, and is already more polished with more content. While there is no sex in the game afaik, it already kinda overshadows this one, and no excuse will save this, especially when the dev outright goes and works on other titles instead.

I think it's just a prime of example of these devs that milk that patreon money for as long as possible. This dev is probably one of the worst cases, only positive is at least he hasn't abandoned it yet.

Comparing the Killing Antidote to this is comparing apples to oranges. The only things you could say are similar is they're both RE clones that had to migrate from UE4 to UE5.

"The Killing Antidote" released in EA over a year ago,
It was released on October 2024, so not even a year.
TKA is not really the "norm". There aren't many games that are as polished and as fun as TKA on launch. I don't even remember the last game I bought day one before TKA.

TKA had to downgrade from UE5 to UE4 (I would consider than an upgrade TBH).

Sorry, mistook the dates.
Yeah, it released not even a year ago in EA, however the playtests were happening even in 2023, as seen by the updates and announcements.

... Yeah...
They are both RE clones and while one veered more towards a standalone thing, with assets made near exclusively for it, the other just slapped sex on top of buggy copies of pre-existing mechanics, and used market-bought assets for quite a lot of things.
They are both games with supposed eyecandy, one that has it's own face and clothing, with the other suffering the typical UE default market face condition.

Both are not made by a lot of people, and both are less than indie titles.
However one of them is made with the passion to make a game, with more content done in a couple of years, and is playable.
The other is quite literally just a patreon milking operation spread across nearly 3/4ths of a decade.

eh, yes and no. there's no easy way, but it could be done. someone would have to mod it in, but I'm very confident it could be mapped to a button or menu. they already spawn in over time with certain conditions. that could absolutely be manipulated to force it. might even be able to do it with CE if anyone figures out the line to call.

Ehm.. I tried this game a lot of time ago.. we're still at the "arena" stage or there's something more interesting to play?

Still arena. Depending on how long ago there may be new sex animations that you have not seen so there is that.

So, something messed up some audio in the beginning during exporting, I even exported twice and it's still fucky... clipchamp sucks (probably why it's free lmao). Well, that sucks because I spent all night and a lot of time overall on this. It's pretty big, I didn't compress it because it would've ruined it. It's about 2 gigs and just over 13 minutes. Sorry about that, really, but compression would make it unwatchable.

Anyway, ladies? (on here, yeah right) and germs, I present:

Last Escape
Very well made. The text is a little too faint, sometimes, though. Also, if you ran this file through Handbreak and encoded it to AV1 10-bit, even at a faster encoding speed, it'd still look very good and be a fraction of the bitrate and filesize. Also, dropping the resolution to 720 or lowering the audio bitrate to 80~kbps and using Opus instead of AAC would help, as well.
