The MC gets a bad wrap sometimes on this thread, but EP1 was his low point.

And if that is really the case, if that is to be another case of "My Bully, My Lover" where the bad girls aren't really all that bad, I would have a problem with that.

My bully is my lover was a huge disappointment for me too. My Problem was bullying was a theme until version 0.3 and after that it all goes about Ninja clans who can read your mind and have glowing Eyes.
That's we are facing I hope.

I don't think it goes even darker. (Maybe in the revenge path.) I got that light hated vibes here and there. Which is not that bad.

The Card game wasn't that bad. It was even pretty good... ...for a card game.
It is too long for the game you delivered. We are all hooked by the story and the Characters. And mini-games destroy the pacing of that. And deliver nothing to the game. Keep it like it is now Optional.

The other thing is Sophia's new scene. While sexy yes. I don't get why it is there. It felt off. And that's okay. But it confused me first. And for my second play through, I took it as comedic relief.

No, I would really have a problem if the game actually took that direction.
And it would be a shame, because the game has a lot of good things going on, if only I did not have that nagging doubt that the twist to come could be that the villains aren't really supposed to be villains.

I see where you're coming from. And they deserve Punishment. The Problem is. The MC thinks they are responsible for everything bad happened to him in his last year. I don't think the girls send thugs after him to break his bones. Maybe Charlotte. I don't see her coming back.

That's a danger I see looking at that game.
Ass an example. Emma: She is the most interesting character at the moment. No wonder from all the bitches she has the most time with us.

If she stays this way, she becomes very old-fashioned, very fast. She has to show cracks somewhere. She has to show that there is something worthy behind her bitchiness . If she doesn't acknowledge that at some point it went too far. For example, when it went physical. She is not redeemable. And becomes increasingly boring, I fear.

Another Character who is in that danger of that is Charlotte. Regarding her, I don't see a comeback for her.
There is one Psychological issues. Yes, but that would be cliché too.

Interesting would be how Kate would react facing the MC after the Presentation.
At some Point we have to fuck them literally and metaphorical you know.

That even extends to who could be the other suspects, IF the bitches didn't actually insert the pictures, Tommy, Amber, is one of them so hellbent on revenge that they would destroy the MC so that he won't falter from taking their payback?
Who else could be there?

We don't know what Emma did with the Originals. Who she shared it with. But we can assume that she shared it with one or two. And from there on, it could be somebody we don't even aware off.

MC did slip up and possibly reveal or make the Bitch Squad suspect that their phones were tampered with and if so, they could have easily get someone to change the presentation to have the humiliating pics of MC

They are not hacked, but their hacking could have been noticed.
That's the Problem with the slide presentation. They have changed it first, and whoever changed it again after that could have been noticed that it was changed.
My first Idea, one of them changed it as a warning.
I don't want this game to become an action agent thriller.

That said, spying is a huge theme in the game.

Personally I would rather see him become cold and calculating turn the bitches against each other create a situation where they all end up friendless and unliked all the while acting as if everything is normal, but we will see what happens. Obviously he's just gonna end up having sex with them because porn logic, but it would be better to see him get with a really hot outsider that makes them all jealous and helps him manipulate them like she pretends to be their friends and then uses everything she can find against them to help him. Or she uses her influence to turn the dean and mayor against the girls. Something that even's the odds or even turns the tides.

If MC had that kind of social manipulation talent, he would not have been the bullied outcast he was. That's the kind of social manipulation talent usually leaders of bully groups have, of those groups that do more than just physical bullying that is. Exactly hence my idea of introducing a new character to help him. Someone who can teach him and use their own talents to his benefit. Also if you read my statement clearly I said I want to see him become this, not he was supposed to be this in high school or at the beginning of the story. I'm sorry if I come off as rude but seriously please read and comprehend what someone wrote before pointing out something that is irrelevant to their idea.

So, I just read through all of this thread, and there are some theories I like, and some that seem "way" out there. To avoid embarrassing anyone, I will not mention any of them (perhaps to avoid embarrassing myself).

I will make one comment on the former step-sister's knowledge (or lack thereof) of the hospital visit for the MC. They were not at that time in social contact with each other so if she heard that the MC had clumsily broken a few ribs falling down the stairs at school, she may not have heard about any of the fights. Yes, it's still wilful ignorance, but it lessens her guilt (in my opinion) if true.

I don't know who the bad guys are at the college, Charlotte and Emma being exceptions, and it's impossible to reliably point any fingers at anyone else from what we know in the first chapter.

Oh, one other thing. Some people, including one of my favourite posters, Avaron1974, have said that the step-sister has been awful to the MC for years. The troubles started in their senior year at high school (unless I misread things) which was just last year.

I'm gonna go replay right now as I am now full of doubts that I am correct.

Absolutely right. This is something I found strange too.
They all talk as if it is sooo long ago. Former step-sister and brother meeting, and it seems they haven't seen each other for years. I don't know how it is in the US. But in Germany between graduating from Gymnasium and starting university there is a gap of maybe 3 to 4 months.
So, we are talking months, maybe weeks (in the US) not years. For me, that's a very short time. Too short to forget. But I think their ignorance is needed to boiling the rage.
