Is the chaos dungeon affected by difficulty levels? My difficulty level keeps resetting to difficulty 0 when I go in there.

No, chaos dungeon is in their own default difficulty that changes when depth increases

PLEASE HELP, i don't know why but now, if i conquer anymore location, all heroines of mine except the Heart Queen will die. My playthrough so far was, from town=> bridge=> dodo=>upper town( i guess i failed to save the bunny girl)=>mental ward=> => church=>heart castle=> mushroom forest=> duchess' mansion... And now i'm finding the meat to give it to her.
But wherever i go, afterward, dodo will get eaten,one of the twins will kill the other, bill'll die for no reason, shisha, the bug girl will get raped.
I tried many different paths but all the same. Had i fked up somewhere lead to this inevitable situation? (btw it was ending C which i got fked by the cat and Alice died)
Please Help. Thanks!


edit: about the meat,i gave it to duchess and they all still died (except node and heartqueen of course). I haven't contained or kill anyone. Max 3 with all girls but havent had scenes with most of them cuz i was kinda came for porn but stay for gameplay

There may be one way to save this run otherwise yeah you are screwed this run. You have to take down the Jub Jub bird or else she causes all those events that you just mentioned. To get to her you have to equip the ring you got for beating the mental ward boss, if you haven't beaten that boss yet do it, and then go into the academy which is past the upper town. Beat the boss of the academy and pass through the door there to go to the tea party. Go past the tea party and into the clock tower. Go to the top of the tower and take out the Jub Jub bird and then either confine or kill her. You have to do all of this without using a bonfire to teleport, maybe also can't heal off it can't remember, so you're going to have to travel far on foot.

Well you do in NG+ when you killed the rabbit boss, go outside and see her flies through and laughing and you already known what happen if you let her be.
That's how the game teaches you like Dark Souls I guess.
You can rush to the white door, get the "ending" and start a NG+, this time use guide or rush straight to JUBJUB since you have the power. 100% ppl encounter this bad end when they first blindly start a run so don't feel too bad about it since even if you know and rush her, she's difficult to fight on New Game if you don't go around level up and learn new skills

Hint: You can look at the torch in the Library above the White Door to the North to see how many progress you have made.
10 means Death of your Waifus if JubJub still alive.

Ok. I've about reached my wits end with the Old King Boss fight after you get to around floor 190 in the Chaos Dungeon. I've fought this Boss and died so many times that I can recall every single attack before he does it. Is it just a glitch that once he reaches his second stage upon making his HP hit zero for the first time, he starts summoning clones that REQUIRE you to guard break them, and yet, my Guard Break never works? Anyone know whats going on? I'll use the normal Guard Break skill and even use the Guard Break skill you get once having the Manslayer's Shotgun equipped as an accessory, which allows you use Guard Break as many times as you want and it not use up a turn. I used probably twenty rabbit pocketwatches and spammed the guard break from the shotgun 21 times. Never works...Any ideas? The attack that needs to be Guard Broken can't be dodged, tanked, revived from or even survived from. Guard Break is REQUIRED.

Tried Gun Break the illusion when it's charging the skill ( Purple Book)
It's indeed breakable.

I have a question, is it possible to beat the sea god under the ship graveyard in the first playthrough? I've explored pretty much everything and don't seem to make anymore progress unless i get pass him or reach ending

Edit: never mind, i just killed him by spaming shotgun break and rabit's watch. Technically, i did kill him in 1 turn, lol

You mean God's Fish ?
It's pretty much possible if you know the setup. But since it's tanky and yield useless reward, it's not worth it.
With right skill and extra bonus turns you can wreck him down like those ship under sea.
He has only 3 million hp and you can pretty much deal 25 millions in 1 strike.
I grinded in Chaos Dungeon in my first Playthrough to get to this point lol.

Thanks bro, but i had just killed him by spaming shotgun break and rabbit's clock lol. That was so cheap but it worked. It took me about 15 clocks. Initially, i used Shotgun break + invincible + clock, but for some dumb reason, when he reachs <75% hp, he always insta-kill me,so i had to use more clocks to kill him in turn 1.

Edit: the same tactic worked with The knight of deep sea, lmao.

Lol, well the Dev said the game is brutally hard so make use of everything to survive.
So I guess a win is a win no matter what it takes.
Like no turn item heal is op too in my opinion lol.
At 50% he buff agility, takes ur turn if your Speed under 1000, buff dodge, dispel you and remove your dodge so you have to had enough hp to tank it
Knight King Sword ( lv10 Knight Sword with Knight Pride skill , reduce 50% dmg, raise 50% max hp)
Knuckle ( Ambition, Raise all stats including max hp by 1 lv each time)
Soul guard ( In Nameless Forest ) skill to maximize guard effective ( reduce 80% dmg)
Masterthief Dagger ( Dagger lv 10) Shadoweld ( buff both dodge and guard 1 turn for you)
Providence ( Spore Forest ) skill to immune Crit dmg ( can't be crit)
resurrectionist ring ( Slaughter House) prevent crit dmg and instant death.
Are enough to make you a truly tanker the game
can offer.

Btw, what is the condition to trigger the books before boss fight ?.

Edit: like the monster which chases you down the stair at the beginning. When i saw it I immediately sought revenge against it, only to find out later that you need to talk to her to get the true ending.

I tried it yet again. Tried Guard Breaking over 40 times. No matter how many times I try to Guard Break him when hes charging up the Purple Book skill, it never works. Do I need something specific in order to Guard Break him? And did you say "Gun Break the illusion"? I've already done that multiple times, too. You can do it once you have the Manslayers Shotgun.

Getting the true ending is almost impossible your second playthrough without the guide due to their being a bunch of things you MUST do in specific orders, otherwise, you'll be locked out of the True Ending and have to restart. One thing in particular comes from talking to Little Red Riding Hood (The girl from the mirror). She only appears if your SEN is 0 or under and appears by the mirror instead of the monster if your SEN is under 0. You will also have to make sure your SEN is at 100 or 30 at random parts of the game in order to do things correctly and not miss anything that would make you have to restart. So, trying to do this without a guide is gonna take you a LONG time. Also, the condition to trigger books at the start of a battle is to make sure your not hallow (You turn hallow when you die). To remove hallow, use "Scent of a girl" which is a little blue bow from Alice to restore yourself. You CANT summon in fairytales when your hallow.

Have you tried spamming immortality? You can use Requiem or the Serpent God's Blood to make sure you survive even at 0 HP for 2/4 turns respectively.

(you can get unlimited Serpent God's Blood by storing the one given to you with the bear as soon as you get it, then going back and asking for another)

The attack ignores immortality. You cant dodge it, tank it, block it, counter it, use immortality, or revive after. You HAVE to Guard Break it. And yet, my Guard Break refuses to work.

Haven't went against that boss in months...Umm...Best thing you can do is prepare for a lot of one shots. Since the boss isn't directly coded to give specific attacks at specific times, then good RNG will be of use. Use spells that allow you to become immortal for some time such as Requiem or use Grit to survive at at least one HP. I'll try and give better tips later when I can actually fight it again.

This is literally the furthest I can get on the Old King of Chess fight...I get this far by using Gun Break and Pocketwatches...Over seventy times I used Gun Break/Guard Break to get this far...And not one time did I ever manage to break their Guard to prevent their stupid ability attack...I tell you, it's IMPOSSIBLE for me to Guard Break them and it actually work...All it does is damage...What do I do...? I'm completely lost...
