I am a fan of blackmail in VNs and coercion in general in pixilated fantasy. Never would I engage in such behavior in real life - but that's where the fun is in these stories. Both don't have to be deeply held convictions with that type of girl and at that age, but conventional prejudices, societal restricitions which easily fall. She seems to be a type who is easily influenced by dominant forces and wants to conform - at first her parents, now the new boss.
