First off, I want to apologize for not keeping you all in the loop lately. I’ve been posting wallpapers to give back for the support you’ve shown and to keep the Patreon page going. I’ve got a lot to say about what’s been going on, but honestly, they’d just sound like excuses for not getting my work done, so I’ll skip that—for now.

As I mentioned in the last dev log, I’m still working on the DLC and other stuff, and it's all in progress. I'm focused on wrapping up the first episode and will give you a clear look at our characters before we dive into more content. I think that’ll make things more fun.

Also, I’ve been making some changes to the plot thanks to your advice and feedback. I’ve rearranged things to make the story flow better and more linearly, so there won’t be as many cuts between scenes or loud sound effects—for now. The prologue kicks off with an intro to Poco Island and our main character.

I want to know what you prefer: quality over quantity or quantity over quality when it comes to the game renders.

From now on, I’ll share any updates about the development, no matter how big or small, to keep you in the loop

for me the quality is always first.

Lame decision to stop writing the story, just to put out wallpapers to a game it seems you lost interest in.I hope you have a change of heart at some point and continue the story.

Hey guys! Hope everyone's doing great!

Sorry, I haven't posted any devlogs since April. I've been a little busy with real life—helping my brother with his small brownie shop he opened for a festival here in April—and juggling two jobs, one in event management and more. Man, it was quite an experience. Now we're back on track, and I've been working a lot on game renders. Rendering scene branching feels like a huge scene, but when you play the game, it's just a few minutes of gameplay. Remember when I asked you about quantity and quality? Well, I'm doing about 1 to 3 dialogue lines per render. I thought I'd only do this during certain moments, but I ended up doing it in every scene. There are very few reuses of renders so far. I'll leave you this render in the attachments—let me know what you think about the quality. Right now, with the frequent rendering, my PC heats up easily, reaching up to 80°C just when I launch DAZ, and while rendering, it shoots up to 96°C. Is this normal? I've heard it's normal under heavy load, but if this happens often, it might damage my CPU. My GPU already got shorted a month ago, and good thing I had a warranty for it. So yeah, I'm planning to buy a new case and a new cooler. I'm saving 360 USD for that. Any help is appreciated because this will help me work smoothly. I hear some people saying, "If you're rendering frequently, why haven't you released the game yet?" Honestly, guys, I don't have much to say about that, but I'm trying my best just to give you this update. So, at best, all I can ask is for you to wait and bear with me for a little while. Also, we're releasing the prologue again. Bear with me, guys. I mentioned I made some plot-wise changes, so I removed some parts you've seen in the prologue so far and added some scenes from chapter 1. The parts removed will be added in upcoming chapters, so now you can follow the story with the main character and understand it better without confusion. I also released the prologue for free, so it's only fair to do it again. The prologue will be released a week before chapter 01, which will come out when it's ready.
