Actually. No, it wouldn't go fine. Thing is, Even before it was a thing, I was changing my name in every Ren'py game I've played. It's one reason I only play Ren'py games. So, I'll pass on not changing it this time. As for The Hobbit or other books, that's a totally different thing. I also don't immerse myself into the books, I just read them and enjoy them. Same with movies. None of these have choices I make, I just watch for the enjoyment and entertainment. Also a reason I refuse to play/read KNs.Do you realize that if that option never became a "thing," your life would go along just fine?
How about this? Play the game as it is, and then decide if you didn't become immersed in it.
But you have to give it an unbiased chance, as Twisted Rabbit said. ( well-crafted dialogues and a rich game world have a far greater impact on immersion than a simple name change!)
So many here ask for a game curated to their tastes before even playing. You are limiting your experiences in life if you already know what to expect.

It was alright. Not too bad. Some little things here and there that bugged me but will spoiler those later. Renders looks fine and the writing is okay as well. Seems like it could be interesting, but it's rather short so not a lot to go on right now. The overview kind of spoils what is to come though, seeing as the game itself hasn't reached that point yet lol.
There are some thoughts on some things that bugged me. Otherwise, it seems alright. Won't know much until further updates, but it's okay for now. I have a feeling this won't be for me though, due to the issues above. But still, wish you the best of luck with your project and thanks.

Twisted Rabbits
Two things I'd like to point out;
Firstly, one of the gangsters in that shootout scene, his appearance keeps changing between beard or no beard.
Second thing is, the same gangster I mentioned above, his movement and positioning feels.... weird.
Okay, I'll list accordingly with screenshots as how it plays out in the game so it's easier to understand.
But regardless, I did enjoy this release, and I can see it has potential.
I'll keep my eye on the future releases.

Use another game build and replace the game folder. I used Conspiracy mac build since it was small (Copy paste the app, show package contents on the copy, go to resources, autorun, and then replace the game folder from the Win build)
This is a good game
Why single sex scene wasn't properly animated? Other animations look nice, but too little content to make some conclusion

You should allow. Also, you never know if name you choosed will associate people on something or someone.
It's kinda funny, there was game with MC named Tony, which was same name as some dude from hood who recently killed his father with an axe, so every time I'd saw MC name on the screen I'd remember another Tony chopping his papa. You'll admit, not image you want when you play porn games.
Btw, how much freedom of choice this game will have? Will it be forced sexual content and girls or players will be able to choose which girls MC to bang and which to avoid? Will route with one girls of our choosing will be possible?

Okay listen, constructive criticism here. I get that this is an AVN but if you're going to present a serious story you can't have that police chick wearing whatever she was wearing with her massive boobas popping out while on the job and.. high heels.. in a shootout? Make her at least wear a uniform while working, I'm sure you'll find plenty of time to make her wear that black outfit in some other scenes. But again this could just be me, I don't see anyone else complaining, but it genuinely caught me off-guard and made me take the story less seriously.
Great start nonetheless, I really loved that beginning dream. Wish you all the luck and motivation!
