1. The terms "dress down" and "dressing down" are used several times in place of "strip down" I noticed - is this some lingo or regional slang I'm unfamiliar with or just the term being misused (as it means something quite different)?
2. Do these women have "lust" or boredom in their eyes?
3. Is it just me or are there a lot of side and background characters that look better than at least half the known/planned harem members to anyone else?
Okay, enough of that. My actual constructive feedback is for the textures on the older women just tone down the definition on wrinkles, stretch marks, and scars and maybe even remove some. They're very over-emphasized and inconsistent (the latter part can be realistic but not the way they're used in the game). Also maybe don't have so much non-obtainable eye candy as it distracts from those who should be the stars of the show - Astrid standing next to her much hotter subordinate during the first scene in which the MC is properly introduced to her is a good example of what not to do.
I gave the game a try since I couldn't find an answer on if the turn based combat had been made skippable or the auto-battler feature was the solution to that request. Seems like it's just the latter and not necessarily a great solution for people that just want to skip the combat mini-game and experience the story as you still have to watch it play out by itself - I played it both ways and so far it seemed less tedious just playing the fights than watching them (to be fair, the few that exist so far are extremely simplistic and AI doesn't exactly play them terribly efficiently).
It's too early to do a proper review for this game but after playing a handful of in-development fantasy themed games recently this is the first of the group I was kinda disappointed by. I'm usually a sucker for harem games and renders looked good but there's just nothing here that's terribly interesting yet to make me excited for more.
To break down my poorly organized initial thoughts (apologies for the mess and I realize some of these may be a bit unfair/premature this early in the game):
The writing is my main concern. It wasn't offensively/frustratingly bad but there were a number of bits I cringed at and the writing style as well as terms/concepts used didn't always feel like they match the setting (a couple examples off the top of my head are mentions of "microexpressions" and "getting in your personal space"). Much more importantly, if the writing can't manage to get me to care about the characters then that severely drags down the whole experience. Sir Thomas felt like a bit of an actual character despite only being around briefly and Cora at least has some basic level of personality which is a promising start compared to others but otherwise everyone else barely qualifies as a character so far (including the MC). For example, I suspect in time I could care about Lila if she's fleshed out a bit as a (likeable) character but right now it's just her great tits that interest me. I'll give this one some time to find it's way and check it out again later as it's still extremely early but I am a bit concerned and mostly just hope the writing improves. That said, I've definitely seen much worse starts to things that turned out incredible so best of luck to the creators!
