While a bit early to tell where this will go, the posing, lighting and composition of most scenes are excellent. The music also complements those scenes well.

Only spotted one text error - after waking up, the line from Astrid has an inversion "The whole felt city that quake"... should read "The whole city felt that quake".

Very nice update. Great story progression.

I do feel the queen is overlooking a two very important matters though...

1. If indeed we are a demigod with the right to rule pretty much the entire continent, the girls helping us aren't committing treason against her, she is committing treason against us.
2. If indeed we are a demigod, what makes her think we can't just take what's ours by force? I mean in the long term, obviously right now we need help and training, but still. Right now she's a difficult to move object in front of a force that's just now starting to build up momentum. It's not unstoppable yet, but it's going to be by the time it gets where she's currently standing.

Not saying I don't understand her reluctance, I do, but she's not really thinking this through clearly.

Oh I do when I'm trying to look pretty for my lady, but I can't stand hair touching my ears, so unless I'm sprucing up, I pull it back. She's the reason it's even long in the first place, were I a single hermit (like I probably would be if not for her) I'd just buzz it as soon as it started to touch my ears.

Ok, seriously, you, and everyone that complains about this, are fucking AWFUL at gaming or anything even remotely resembling tactical thinking.

Just to test this out, I redownloaded the game and played through the entire raid again after turning down the lovely Almira (which physically hurt my soul), saving before each fight and retrying each one 5 times and I didn't lose a single, fucking, time. In fact I even tried just hitting attack over and over for the first guy without any attempt at defense and I still fucking won.

I did, ironically, lose the first time I dueled Sir Thomas but I beat him on the 2nd try.

Well congrats on being on good terms with RNG Jesus. Considering I've played Total War ad nauseum, Souls and Souls likes, reaction based games and pretty much every other genre I can safely say, no I don't suck, but RNG does. I'm actually quite good at strategy, just not RNG, because no one is.

Well congrats on being on good terms with RNG Jesus. Considering I've played Total War ad nauseum, Souls and Souls likes, reaction based games and pretty much every other genre I can safely say, no I don't suck, but RNG does. I'm actually quite good at strategy, just not RNG, because no one is.

I would recommend trying XCOM 2 for the true RNJesus experience...


Anyways, the RNG elements won't be as prevalent with enemies that have a higher AI score as those will more predictably try to counter your actions. Additionally, we might see combat become easier with the introduction of magic.

See how I said I tried each fight 5 times just to make sure? It's not RNG. If it was I'd have seen at least SOME variance or come even close to losing. You just fucking suck. And that's not me being a pompous douche. It's the truth. Proof being that you're suggesting being good at reaction games is going to help you in a turn-based situation where you have to pick between attacking, parrying, or defending. You don't even need to look at rest, and ultimate is only unlocked for the last (3rd) fight.

You click defend.
NPC attacks you, dealing zero damage. Or NPC doesn't attack you, also dealing zero damage.
Next turn you hit parry. NPC attacks you, you take zero damage and retaliate.
Next turn you hit attack. NPC takes damage. Now you literally cannot lose. You can spam attack FOR THE REST OF THE FIGHT and win.
BIG HINT : Don't attack the NPC when he does the shield move, it's pointless, that's him defending.

For other fights try a variation of this. Maybe don't try and fucking face-tank everything while attacking like a spaz. Use those other 2 buttons.

Honestly after the 1st fight, the rest are just stupidly easy, as long as you have equal ish stats it's pretty much auto win.
