is there a way to unlock the cg gallery, i have played through the story and can start a new game plus, but items in the cg gallery remain locked.

Anyone have an issue where the game over animation stays the same no mater who kills you? I keep getting the hamburger steak even though im in the sewer (trash mobs/bunny/slug).
