  • KNOWN ISSUES
    • The vial has some graphical errors where it does not correctly show the potions correctly or the amount of maidenthirst. The text should be correct, however.
    • The mortar & pestle in Chapter 3 sometimes fails to accept reagents after a recipe rejection. Just close the mortar and reinitiate it.
  • BUG FIXES
    • A mistake that made certain characters appear too early was fixed.
    • Clicking arrows rapidly in the forest as Ann will no longer lock the arrows.
    • Fixed a boomerang bug that can trap the player in Landhurst’s office.
    • Fixed the pestle animation glitch.
    • Fixed the dim screen bug that happens when you don’t have enough time to fast travel from the Stable.
  • CHANGES
    • Various graphical enhancements.
    • It is no longer possible to go into Chapter 4 without having fed on Mara at least once.
    • Tried to make it a little more obvious that there are 24 save slots available, not 3.
    • Slightly reduced starting cash.
    • Reduced starting burden by 1.
    • Increased starting speed by 1.

yah that's a rare bug i'll have to fix it for you. upload your save here. But first I need to know, did you grind your reagents together at any point during your playthrough?

During your blackout did you use your debug key or no

I used the skip puzzle for mixing the reagents after acquiring them, I was currently doing the virility potion section of the game when this occurred. No I never used the debug key, I extracted from Tea and the screen went black and upon closing the game down and re-opening that thing was waving across the screen and does not disappear. Please find my save file attached.

No I never used the debug key, I extracted from Tea and the screen went black and upon closing the game down and re-opening that thing was waving across the screen and does not disappear. Please find my save file attached.

In my testing, opening that save and resaving should clear the bugged animation. Please try it. Also don't forget to use your debug buttons. So far I have not duplicated your blackout.

Thanks, the resaving cleared the animation issue. I did also manage to reproduce the black screen issue with Tea, from the save if you go to Brendan and ask him for help to search for the book and lie to him about Michelle being at the library. Proceed to the Library and access the terminal for the book search tell Brendan how dare him, and then reselect the terminal and skip the puzzle. Head to the third floor library and find the book and when speaking to Brendan choose the nice option I'm sorry or something it was the sun shine option. From here head out of the library and head to Tea then extract from here, one frame of the starting sequence appears but after clicking it is just a black screen.

Same situation:

The story is moderately interesting, but I'm getting stuck in chapter 4. No matter what I try I can't find a way to progress through the "Find a babysitter" part of the quest, which means I can't feed on or corrupt Mara.

I know Ann is supposed to be the babysitter, but no matter what I do, I can't get neither Ann or Mara to provide a dialogue that would facilitate her becoming the babysitter:
- Ann only has dialogue to ask if she knows about Preacher Michaels, greyd out spy mission (just finished exploring the hotel room) and collecting flowers (obviously already done with that so no idea why that shows up).
- Mara has dialogue options about university green house, drug dealers from earlier and "Do you worry about your daughter" which shows a dialogue that would imply Ann is already babysitting. When dominated the "may we speak in private" leads to comment about needing to get rid of the girl.

Then there's Kelly, whom I assume I would've needed to corrupt in earlier chapter since apparently I'm "too busy to party" when I try to offer money to her and the only other option requires 20 corruption.

If you cannot progress with Mara in Chapter 4 you need to go back to Chapter 3 and make sure you sleep with her before continuing. In 3.99b I made so it's no possible to finish Chapter 3 without that but unfortunately I cannot do anything if you're already past that point.

What is your virility?

Make sure your virility is at maximum to make sure you're at your highest virility. You can also buy Viagra from Shark for a +19 boost.

Virility was 37 I think. Just reloaded and tried again (4th attempt in all) and it worked but I hadn't done anything different lol. - 40 x2, let her recover, drank potion, -70. Must have missed something the first time.
