I have to admit I am a sucker for a bit of romance in a good story, it's my one soft spot.

Problem I have is I tend to overthink things when certain information presents itself.

I love the relationship they have and one conversation about romance during a movie talks about the break up before eventually getting back together which means i'm now waiting for the seemingly foreshadowed shotgun to the feels.

I also keep getting a lesbian NTR vibe where I think one of them is going to get blackmailed when they get found out but hopefully that's just me being a paranoid twat.

Can't say I have any problems with anything. I like the characters, the story is great and the relationship is nice to watch grow. I do hope they have a happy ending but i'll enjoy the journey.

I like Lisa though. I know some people have issues with the "darling" thing from how it's used by those overly pretentious types with a superiority complex but I don't get that vibe from her. Usually that kind of talk comes out of characters like Philippa Eilhart from the Witcher games whereas Lisa is overly confident but not quite bordering arrogant.

In porn it's great but as far as story goes, NTR is still NTR.

Once that happens the romance is all but gone. They have that fledgling relationship, it's sweet and it's special then one of then fucks another woman and it's gone.

I'm not a fan of cheating regardless.

You don't have to worry, because I think I've said something about this before. I really, really, really don't like NTR and I will probably turn off/stop playing anything that includes it (unless the writing is just amazing and the rest of the story is about trying to fix the relationship, like in Discipline). And I hope that my story is written in such a way that readers would feel that it would be very out of character for something like that to happen. I also don't like cheating at all (and think it such a big turn off because I'm a huge fan of romantic games), unless the entire story is about the person you're cheating with turning out to be 'the one' because the main character is currently in a bad relationship or something. Either way, I promise you that no cheating will ever be included in Blooming Love. Neither will sexual blackmail for that matter. I hope readers already realized that simply doesn't fit the themes included in the story. Sex will always be a personal, intimate thing in this game. Threeways are definitely an option though (it's gone happen), but they will always be optional (so you can politely refuse them if you want) and all characters involved in them are into it. Both sisters will also always be included in the threeway, it's not like one of them randomly decides to go fuck two other girls.

As for Lisa, I kind of see why some people don't like her. But I'm glad you do like her. The 'darling' thing was never meant to give her an arrogant vibe or give her a bitchy boss vibe. It's like you said: She's very confident in herself (but also in Evelyn, the older sister) but on no level thinks she is better than Evelyn. And she doesn't shy away from showing that she's super into Evelyn (I hope at least some of the readers realized through her dialogue and such that she has a huge crush on Evelyn). It's also important to keep in mind that she doesn't know Evelyn is in a relationship and currently still thinks she fair game. You don't have to like Lisa of course, but I'm just trying to explain where the 'darling' thing comes from.

And lastly... foreshadowing. I have an ending in mind and I'm not going to say anything about it, but sometimes a movie is just a movie. It doesn't foreshadow the ending. I just needed a cliche plot for a random romance movie and this seemed like a good one. I have done a lot of set up, btoh for the ending and for events that will take on later days, but I have to admit that I haven't done any foreshadowing.

The only other thing I will say is that I will always try to give the player a positive/happy feeling with the game. I'm a firm believer in that being in a relationship with someone should make live easier and more pleasant, not more challenging. That's actually one of the reasons I like Triss over Yennefer, but that's besides the point.

Take your time on the ending. I know how hard is to be write a good ending and a bad ending always ruins a great game. (eg. Mass Effect series)

I also liked Lisa. She's straightforward on her intentions.

I wasn't getting any hints at lesbian NTR from your game, that was my own overthinking from playing other games.

You have the forbidden relationship, someone else finds out and then the blackmail. You are right in that it doesn't fit the theme but, as I said, I overthink things.

As for the cliche love plot for the movie and the foreshadow thought I got it's just that I recently re-read a comic called Sunstone about a lesbian relationship and it happens there so I suppose I was transferring although your story doesn't involve BDSM so probably a shit comparison.

Kind of a random thing, but I was just wondering about it while working on version 0.12 of the game. I've never heard anyone mention it, so I'm curious how many people are aware of it. Most of you probably already know, but still: How many of you are aware that you should turn on the sound of whatever system you're running the game on when you play? I've noticed that very few other VNs on here have sound (except for the Japanese ones I suppose). Even the bigger titles, like DMD and Big Brother don't have sound (correct me if I'm wrong). So I'm just wondering how many of you have gotten so used to this that you don't even check anymore if a VN has music in it. And if you did notice it, do you think music adds to the experience?

I live with other family (niece and two of her kids), so I always mute my mature entertainment. Not something I want them to know I'm into.

Not a bad idea for a promotion though, there are a lot of very talented people on here that are good at the rendering of the people in positions of the sex.

Another idea for a prize rather than money could be naming a minor character after them, one that walks past waving in a "look mum, i'm on TV" kinda thing. Obviously a decent name and not Titty Wobblesfreely.

Interesting, i think this is a good route. I dont see any cheating in the story at all. That dont fit in imo.

It's basically cuckolding, but the Japenese term for it (netorare). It's really popular in Hentai media (such as Japenese H-games), but I was never a big fan of it. It's bascially where the romantic lead is forced to be with someone else/falls in love with someone else to create jealousy in the reader/main character (at least, that's how I understand it). Doesn't make for a great love story

I'll be honest, I turn music off or almost off in any game I play, not just VNs, but all of them.
