Honestly, aren't we all already "getting the thing" just by seeing that it's a Slonique game ? When he don't copy/paste the storyless mechanism of a previous game, then he'll copy/past the sprites of a previous game. All this with dialogs, when there's, that made no sense, and for games that he'll claim to be finished when he'll be tired of them.
More than three years that he make games, and the only improvement happend when he switched to Ren'py. Now we can cheat as pigs and not anymore have to deal with the boredom of his games. But normally authors become better with the time. We can all see it in the other games ; even the worst ones are a little less worse when they end, but not his, never his.

slonique fans need not panic..as another is soon coming to make you happy..on his patreon page he already has another on the ready..and it looks like the LTN cast :O but..i do not see the black cops..where are they? :O i am positive this will be the one to turn things around..i mean..it has Milf and Loli...his two most popular reused assets..so..keep your tea at the ready..you'll need a cuppa to enjoy this up coming masterpiece

In regard of plot (lack of), story and bad characters. I don't think single out Slonique is worth it. Seeing a lot of these awful "protag got big horse dick so wimen will jump him for no reason what so ever" games around. then putting them all together in a single game would have been way better and we already could have an longuer (better?) game.

That is actually why I enjoy playing "Dirty Pool". The random scenes are so over the top, they are actually funny.
- Niece locked herself in the bathroom? Grab an axe "HERE'S JOHNNY!"
- Bought random potions from weird guy? Feed one to your niece and turn her into a cupcake. Then eat her.
It's so utterly ridiculous, it honestly makes the game stand out.
There is also the clothes that are like plastered on top of their body contour.Slonique got some style tho...
i recognize Slonique style instantly on the thumbnails...
- the girls (dont know why, its recognizable, maybe because its kind of similar girls)
- the artistic blurry photo-butched background
- the lights (seems almost always the same lights style on chars)
i knew it was Slonique the moment i saw the thumbnails on the "latest updates" tab.... still.... i opened the thread. curious to see the comments.
'tis all i expected.
now i m gonna download and try.... for science. (also because i dont have anything else to do, soo why not ? someone need to give an opinion after all XD )

honestly, the only way I'm going to play another one of his games is if each game he's created is leading into one massive game where all stories connect to one another and leads to something that shows these "endings" for the games he created was to open up this massive world. Otherwise, there's no way in hell I'd trust this creator again.

Update: current version 3 has partial scenes. Starting from version 4 I'll be replacing partial scenes with full ones (damn it takes sooo long to render a full picture)
