Sweet, worgen model update means Worgen content eventually 
some people hate it, some people love it, but I am totally here exclusively for Worgen and other creature scenes, or more specifically; scenes with nonhuman dicks.
Seeing this in the notes makes me happy, although I think almost every game Auril does has stuff like that in it, it's a given at this point

Not gonna happen. The journal maybe, but I don't see a save feature returning in an Auril game any time soon.

Auril tried to implement a Save mechanic (with Goblin post as saving points) several years ago (whorecraft remake 1.5 and 2.1 may be? don't renember exactly) but were buggy and at the finished version didn't make any sense for a game that lasted less than 1 hour, so never tried again.
They weren't the ones who originally made the save systems. They hired that done and when they got less and less support it was one of the features that got cut in the budget. They tried their hand at making a save system but was unable to produce a working version and just never bothered to do so again.
More people pirate their work than subscribe for it, so this is the end result. Maybe if them trying to work on two games gets them enough support you might see a return of save systems, but it's not likely to show back up until her 2 current works in progress finish. This is also assuming they're getting enough support to hire more outside work to be done.

Did I miss something with the story? It's been a while since I played BIB1, but last I remember Luxia and Alex were in a pretty close relationship. But in this Luxia acts like Alex means nothing to her. Like, I get that they were robbed and it was Alex's fault so she's mad at him, but mad enough that she'd immediately go fuck someone else for a porn scene in exchange for a ride and leave him to walk to town? wtf? Guess all that development in the first game that made them close just vanished?

I got the impression that she's tired of his antics, always asking for sex, messing up, sleeping around with other women etc. I do feel like it's time for Luxia to have a bigger role though since her character backstory is done, and being around just for Alex's sex needs feels like a waste imo.
Far as relationships go in this game series, they were never done to a serious tone and we've had quite a few of them so to treat this as anything different wouldn't make a lot of sense because these games were never about that.
