So a new member post an image with no context.
What are we suppose to infer from it;
The android version is dead?
The project itself is dead?
The developer died in sleep while waiting for a booty call, from a sister who does poorly in her studies cause she goes out drinking twice a week instead of studying?
The developer is dead?
The developer finished the update and is so dead tired he can't post it here?

When I commented on going radio silent, I didn't mean permanently. Suicide is not the solution.

Side rant on account abuse here on F95z:
The admins need to code ip rules that limit to 2 accounts or block multiple accounts from the same ip. And if a user makes another account the profile of said user should display a visual que to other user this person has more than one account under one ip. something like this user ____ is associated with the user _____ via account creation. If the ip changes i.e if signing up with a proxy then you can't change your password. Apple, xbox, and lol all do something comparable.

Ele não está a vender nada para que reportes atrasos...

# He's not selling anything for you to report a delay. He's working on this project with the support of some of you. And that's great. But he doesn't have to abide by any deadlines (including his own) or expectations as long as he's honest with his patrons. Very different from RAInces... The rest of us just have to suck it up and wait a bit longer. His tardiness is not that critical.
Both are the same person

What the hell is happening ? Ziptiefun is nowhere to be seen.

Also did Rainces change his profile name to Davidreiter89 and was online today, or is it me who need a good night sleep ?
https://f95zone.to/members/davidreiter.89/
Sinceramente? Pouco me interessa quem são e o que fazem. Apenas era bom que aparecesse alguem que pegasse nisto a sério.

# Seriously? Who cares who they are or what they do...? The BBS games/updates dry spell is getting the best of you so a good night sleep is not a bad idea. If only someone would pick this up once and for all...

I've seen ZipTieFun name in another game(Mi Unica Hija).

I'm under the suspicion that he's either working in that game or is the developer himself.

That is not uncommon practice and I'd bet money that many games on this site are from the same dev with different aliases. They do that to grab the same group of subscribers simultaneously over and over again. It doesn't make sense for big hits like BaDIK but for games of this nature(a niche within a niche where there's a smaller but loyal fanbase) it's a sound(albeit immoral) strategy.

Hmmm. Food for thought.

My point was too the F95zone site admins and site coders; is give the users a visual indication of when, and if multiple users are umbrellaed under the same sign in and sign up ip locale. I don't want to waste my hard earned money on a developer's patronage who's nom de plume crosses or intersects with different games under different pseudonyms here on f95z with numerous alias on Patreon and or SubscribeStar equaling to being all the same person. The only exception within this standardization of practice would be in modding, main developers and mod developer both deserve payment for their work.

This would give the users a better chance a sussing out financial bad actors who would abuse the flaws of multifarious projects and account linking across the various payment platforms and web sites like f95zone.

Plot thickens, like fine Italian sauce over a slow simmer....

If the code checks out. This would be the sixth or seventh game that this person has along with the same number payment sites under a different user names but all being coded by the same coder.

Faz sentido mas são apenas suposições sem qualquer fundamento. Na falta de respostas surgem as teorias da conspiração...

# It makes total sense but most conspiracy theories do. We could be all night speculating numerous reasons and scenarios around it, but in the end we'd get a handful of nothing... If you find it to be a fun way of killing time while we wait for any actual news, be my guest.

Not a conspiracy theory if across multiple games are all having the same code signature.

I am not going to out myself on what my job in RL is, but the field is code analytics.

Just as finger prints and writing have signature features that can individualize them to a single person, so does a a single developer. They, them, him, her, and it all have that one thing they do and they do alone. They may or may not even know they do it, but they do.

There is no "speculating on the reasons around it" as you say if the signatures match its over 85% high likely hood of being from the same coder.

We as end users may get nothing, but we then can disseminate information between ourselves that could be used to financially squeeze them into a lighted room from the dark anonymity of multiple shelled accounts.

I see you RAinces... the mistakes you have made are in your code.

Just for the record, I didn't say for a fact that that developer IS ZipTieFun. But it was weird seeing his name there. Maybe he's a patron/modder for that game? Who knows?

That game is similar in both nature and mechanics to this one though. Also a good game btw, spent quite some time on it.

Boa parte do pessoal aqui tem bons conhecimentos de código, não és o único. As semelhanças poderão dever-se ao reaproveitamento do mesmo já que é mais fácil copiar do que dominar Ren'Py.

# A lot of people here have some kind of coding background. So what? Code similarities may be do to code reuse (RAInces') as it's easier to use something that already works than work it out/learn it from scratch. The learning curve for python and Ren'Py is a bit steep.

Why would RAInces, ZipTieFun and SummmerP abandon their BBS projects to start new ones when they're already making money with these ones and people are quite eager for more? RAInces alone could easily reach his $2000 goal if he kept going...

It can be because:
- that money comes at the expense of their precious personal life and it's not worth it for them;
- they lost the drive to do it ( wasting so many hours making porn games is not the most rewarding thing to do with your life );
- they have other projects (as you mentioned), or....

You may be totally right, you may be totally wrong - simply because we don't have enough data to say it for sure (we don't need it, we need the game). Therefore it's pure speculation, a mental exercise while waiting for some kind of news.

The similarity in code has a very easy explanation. They all stole Rainces's code as a starting point. Everyone that decided to do a remake, myself included, started by trying to make heads or tails out of RA's code. SPOILER ALERT: His code sucks. It's filled with typos, variables change, and the basis of the game was a series of nested loops. But the dialog from version to version is basically the same. Even with changing around big swaths of it, the code itself is still pretty much the same. Hell, it has to be. Look at ZipTieFun's opening scenes and play the original BBS game up to the same point. It is almost the exact same game. The code is almost identical.

That doesn't mean that ZipTieFun and Rainces are the same person, or that their alter ego is SummerP. I've been around here long enough to have seen several BBS remakes start up. Each of them start from the same spot. Even with going in different directions, there is a lot of overlap. Why rewrite the entire variable table or all of the dialog if it isn't changing? When I did my remake, the similarity between my code and RA's up to the same spot was about 90%. Why? Because I took his code, fixed a few typos, added a few lines of dialog, and polished up the code a little.

Seriously, what is more likely? That one person started up the same project 3 times under 3 different accounts and are so dedicated to the hoax that they use each different account with a different accents, idioms, time zones, and different base languages (Portuguese, Italian, and something else in southern Eurpore), or that 3 people each tried working on their own version of a popular project?
