I was just thinking here, and I have a question for you guys. Do I need to make a porn game to criticize a porn game, or is any kind of game valid?

If you want to criticize making the game, then any is valid. If you want to criticize the porn content, then only porn games are valid.

Go back 500 pages, same cycle is happening for last 3 years+... also no original comment nor meme here, all the things that anyone can think of (milking, about content, rework, delay, scam, shitty engine, no mouse support, low res etc.) already been said here before multiple times by multiple people. haha. true that. And i am no Doctor.... or maybe the kind of doctor Bones is (a wannabe). So my "diagnosis" is purely based on analyzing his behaviour here and on his discord some month ago. I noticed some similarities to myself in terms of Procrastination . I tend to loose focus too and delay important issues up to a point it is almost self-sabotage. But that is all i have in common with him. His shitty behaviour and Self-righteousness is something he cannot put on some mental issues... this is something he is fully responsible for. Even if you love the game... the man behind it is a jerk and want to be one.

I don't have enough background to know for how long he has been acting like this, but it is crazy to me that so many people are whiling to support him regardless of his behavior. I have procrastinated before and had to work under pressure quite a few times, even when it came to very important matters, but I always meet the deadline when I'm under pressure. I don't make excuses for it nor I blame other people. I hope enough people realize that liking the game doesn't mean they have to be on an abusive relationship with Bones. Dude has no reason to improve if he gets support regardless.

Yes, it is clear that he no longer has the passion and interest to further develop this project. Will update it once a year to keep at least part of his donators.

I wouldn't say passion. That word is too big for Bones. Maybe he had some at the begining, but that was for a really short time. Again, he doesn't deserve that word right now.

okay.... now (and that is a very rare thing) i'd like to share my real thoughts of this guy. I can really understand the way he is and why he is that way. It has to do with depression and other psychological issues. He is Bi-Polar.... Borderline. That means on the one hand he is overly selfconfident but at the same time very depressed and selfhating. He has a mental problem with pressure (what he already admitted) but on the other hand too much pride to apologise. Having a cult who praises him whatever he does is no help. He is lazy... but i think that also has psychological reasons. To be honest i am really surprised he has put out his games at all. Who knows how many years BEFORE release he worked on it. The sucsess of it didn't benefit him in terms of personality traits though. And MAYBE he really got some things going on in his real life. As i said before: never gonna excuse him, but i pretend to understand him. Anyway..... i want new dog sounds NOW!

Sorry mate, I disagree on this one. You're giving him too much credit. At best he is a douchebag, at minimum has the mind of a child. Maybe whe was a bit naive and innocent (or benign) at the beginning, but right now, it's pritty clear.

I wouldn't celebrate something that good creators, too. The drop off is natural. Normies have the capability to go "I'll wait until he releases again to pay".

Just lets be real, at this time of how things are being developed by a ONE MAN ONLY which have shown til this point that can't even be serious and responsible to deliver things on rough deadline times then ¿Why are we here anyways?
for real he ain't gonna release an decent update with story progression since he's always going to be stuck on re-re-re-re-reworking scenes because he feels they can be better lol. and before you ask ¿this is the only game with this scheme of reworks? no is not, there's plenty of other games that have its thread on F95 and comparing them to this one its like 100% for sure that bones-tales the manor its the only game that you can expect over 10 times of a single scene for the amusement of the game maker and not from feedback of their supporters.
